This was really interesting and well made. Thank you!
Great video! I'd love to see more like this. First video i've seen that compares the various types of dye techniques using just one type of dye. I'd love a follow up if you figure out some more -- maybe doing patterns with your dye? Also doing shading using this technique would be awesome too if that's possible.
Such a great and useful video before going into dying my own leather! And dude, I love your energy, definitely subscribing!
I'm dyeing some things today! I think I like the rag and the wool dobber the best! I love how dark they are!
Excellent you have just saved me a few £'s, what a simple explanation to save money and effects using different methods. CHEERS
Awesome, Awesome, and awesome. Thank you for sharing.
This is very helpful information. Thank you.
You have Feibings Pro Dye dark brown in the thumbnail but you're using Tandy Eco-Flo. Came for the Feibings. You mislead me
Good video dude.
Which of the Mario Bros. is he? 😂
Did i miss the part with the water and dye dark?
Great info, too bad you aren’t making videos any more.
you are truly a mixture from Mario and Luigi, you know?
There are dozens of dye videos but nobody has one showing black leather being dyed a lighter color, say brown or tan. Doesn't already dyed black leather take lighter dyes well??
How can i avoid dye stains on flesh side edges, while dyeing on Grain side of natural veg tanned? Any advice me please
That's really cool! I've only ever used the alcohol based dye. Do water based dyes give you more control over the color/texture?
I feel that you can do a little more with water based. but alcohol based seems to give a more consistent coat!
Mr.thanks for video I'm interested in production off due for business how can I reach you
I'm torn. I would like to dye my purse camel color.
Have you used the Feblings pro dye saddle tan color before? Can I add water to that one? Would you recommend water base?
HELP! I purchased Pro Dye in the colors light tan and saddle tan because I was looking for a light/medium tan stain. I tested them, and the light tan was really yellow, so I opted for the saddle tan. I stained some leather chairs using a painting cloth sponge, and the color went really orange on me! Is there anyway to lighten it? Can you bleach it?
A "dobber"??! 🤣🤣
Do you know the shaving cream dyeing technique?
I do! although I have not yet tried it!
@@shatterproofleather7120 please do a video about it when you have the chance 😬😬
Music is too loud, especially while you're talking.
Can I use this on my custom seat? even though it has already a dye but I want some part of it darker?
Depends if the leather is chrome pr veg tanned, and if veg tanned also how its been colored first. If its an acrylic topcoat, the waterbased stain wont penetrate the surface properly
