With all the amazing differences that all the cultures out there have between each other, it's fascinating to learn about our similarities, even if it's small things like the stories we tell to our children.
My husband had never heard of a British version, his primary school teacher must not have taught it to him!! I love hearing children's stories from other cultures too, it's so lovely to see how we're all similar in the way we read stories and teach our young ones :) Thank you for being an awesome teacher! 💖

Slavs and Cossacks has lots of encounters with the Chinese and Mongols so it was probably made a folk story in Russia and then filtered down into the Balkans where lots of Slavs migrated to and had Russian relatives in
