Best take I’ve heard from Flannel of the difference between Cade and Brunson/Mitchell. Cade has incredible talent but it’s the mental part of the game that Brunson and Mitchell have over him where they are consistently surgical with their games and have trimmed the fat of anything excessive or a deterrent to their teams.

@@therockneverstops8261 exactly and on the contrary Cunningham is a pure scorer IMO

@ As pure as they come. Reminds me of Brandon Roy.

Honestly we wont know what we fully have as a team until Ausar is off this 18-20 min restriction. He was averaging a double double for a stretch last year and no disrespect to Duran but Ausar would probably be our leading rebounder. He also has the most potential outside of Cade imo

Cade outplayed Brunson in NYC 2x already this year. With Mitchell it's more complicated, the Cavs don't need him to have a high scoring average.

If you put Brunson or Mitchell on the Pistons their ysage goes up and with it they get more points and assists.
    The argument works both ways.

Lonzo as the backup PG works for the short term and the long term. He could come on the floor and play some minutes where Cade can just focus on getting buckets, and then run the second unit so that Cade can actually rest. Beasley is already one of the league leaders in 3 pointers made, Lonzo only adds to that. When Ivey comes back he wouldn't need to stagger him and Cade so much, which plays into the strengths of both. Making a trade for Lonzo puts them into the 5th or 6th seed this year, and 3rd or 4th seed next year. Then if you could add Markkanen they'd be a true contender. That's why I was against signing solid vets this year, there's potential to draft Flagg if they didn't have the vets helping carry them to a lot more wins than the young guys are capable of. I get that Cade is our guy and it's time to build around him, but I think one more bad year could have paid off. Holland and Kintman would benefit from the minutes they would be getting this year if there wasn't the vets taking those minutes. JB needs to work them into the rotation more.

Lonzo Ball would be a nice addition but if they don't replace Harris with a guy that can get buckets this team isn't going anywhere, play in at best then getting swept if they get in

Cade is better than Mitchell and Brunson

Wow would you start Zo? No bro he'd come off the bench primarily

Lonzo, De'Andre Hunter and Bobby Portis would make us a 5th seed easily

Cade is a mature person, but his game isn't mature. A mature game has eliminated most of the small mistakes. To me that's one of his biggest issues. Stupid turnovers and forcing some shots when it's not falling.

Too me Cade isn't a point guard, he's a shooting guard to me
