I have been watching your videos all over the world and it’s so cool to see you in my hometown! Unfortunately I think stereotypes about our food being bland are quite true 😂 But the best part of being in London is that you can be walking along a normal street and turn a corner to suddenly see a beautiful historic building anywhere you go! I hope you continue to make lots of good memories and have safe travels 😊
Great to see you trying a true London food. To puritans like myself the parsley sauce is called liquor (pronounced likka in South London). Used to be made from the water from the eels. Gravy is a no no to real aficionados. Also vinegar and pepper on the pies and always eaten with a fork and spoon, not a knife. As a Japanese man you should have tried jellied or stewed eels. Wonderful and very good for you. I live in Bangkok now and miss p&m terribly! 🥲🥲😄

Pie and mash is a good filling meal, especially on a cold winter's day. But, the reason why that place is so full is because they serve good portions at cheap prices. £5 for a plate that full is a really good price. Here in Cambridge that would've been at least £10, probably closer to £20.
I've had bangers & mash (sausage & mashed potato with gravy). Love that. Never had the pie & mash though, but it looks great. Mushy peas is another British specialty - maybe you'll run across that one in your time there :) Bon appetit!
Hi George. Just saw your video on fish n chips! Nice! You have chosen a nice pie and mash cafe and its my nearest venue. If you ever try it again I suggest skipping the gravy but have more liquor (parsley sauce) and also add pepper and chili vinegar....lots! Perfect! Keep it going!
For some, its tradition not to have gravy but the Liquor sauce and turn the Pie upside down and cut it up and put the sauce over the pie. hope you enjoyed it.
Awesome to see you in the UK George! We have had a fairly mild winter up until a week or so ago, I'm so sorry you ended up coming in the cold snap 💜 I don't know anyone who has pie and mash with parsley sauce, that's usually for fishy stuff. I think places here tend to not over season things so you can add the salt and pepper at the table to your own tastes. I definitely would have got you to pepper the mash and mix it in, it's delicious! Mustard mash can be pretty awesome as well. That gravy needed onions in it by the way, don't know what that place is playing at 😂

British cuisine is bland and is generally not appetizing. I was raised on it and avoid it at all costs. Lol Even you George, can’t make it appealing to me. 😂
Nope! Pie n Mash and Liquor, with Salt snd Chili Vinegar! Your mistake was not asking a traditional local as to the proper etiquette of P 'n' M! Double Double, you get a thumbs up but GRAVY, two thumbs down!
Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and held him. And he said, " Man of Little Faith, Why did you doubt?"When they got into the boat, the wind stopped."(Matthew 14: 31-32) Sometimes we feel ashamed to admit to God that we need help. We feel like we can work things out for ourselves. But crying out to Jesus is what we must do. We should not be ashamed of it. When Peter came walking on the water toward Jesus and began to sink, it probably didn't come as a surprise to Jesus. He knew who Peter really was, but he also knew who Peter would become. He did not fail to see who Peter was. You also saw him for what he was going to be. This is also how God sees us. Jesus knew that Peter would fail, not only in this situation, but also later, when he would deny him. Jesus caught Peter's attention on one occasion. (see Luke 22: 31-32). Therefore, Peter's failure was not a surprise to Jesus. And when Peter was sinking, the Bible tells us that "immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and held him. (Matthew 14: 31-32). The Bible does not say that Jesus carried Peter back. They got into the boat, which means that Peter got up and walked with Jesus over the water, once again, back to the boat. Where Did Jesus Take Peter and his disciples? Back to Earth. We will have miraculous moments in our lives, experiences of reaching the top of mountains. And these experiences prepare us for the valleys of life. Calm waters prepare us for storms. Maybe you're sinking now. Or have fear, worries and defeat. Follow Peter's example: call on Jesus. He will not scold a person who tries to come to him by faith.

2回目は正しかった。そしてパイとソースの意見を正直に言って面白かった!僕はもイギリス人にとしても同意。
Scones are eaten year round. That woman was probably messing with you 😂
British cuisine is bland and is generally not appetizing. I was raised on it and avoid it at all costs. Lol
Even you George, can’t make it appealing to me. 😂
😂😂😂
And he said, " Man of Little Faith, Why did you doubt?"When they got into the boat, the wind stopped."(Matthew 14: 31-32)
Sometimes we feel ashamed to admit to God that we need help.
