I've only just discovered these videos and can't stop watching them. You gotta have nerves of steel to ride at this speed in just a T-shirt and jeans. I know these guys are pros but damn, that is insane! And the locations you guy/gals pick are incredible. Sick run Marc..thanks for bringing us along. Be safe y'all. o7
I prefer to hear the noise of the board and the road, I think the music volume was too high so at least merge it in the background. Thumb up and cheers.
My guess it a longer board and tighter trucks, maybe even wider trucks. Both will greatly improve the center of mass between you in the both while also reducing your ability to turn. Which in theory will raise that thresh hold that you get wobbles. Learning to stand properly on the board will also help. From my experience, standing on the front with you front truck helps to check better contact with the road surface. Of course standing with it further back would do the opposite.
Ed Griffith thank you very much for your answer. i have a 39.3' x 9.5' board, wheel base 29.3'. it's paired with back bear grizzly trucks 180mm, 82A bushings and with 71mm 83A wheels. its a long island longboards longboard. i know this is beginner, but still. what about tightening trucks? edit: the deck is drop through.
Andreas Lenac get harder bushings, unless you way like 90 pounds, 82a are for low speeds or freeriding harder bushings like 90a 92a is the go to for most, some go even harder if your over 160-180 pounds... also yes tighten your trucks if they feel to turntable or divey, then tighten the back truck about a quarter or half turn more than the front to keep the back more stable than the front this also helps with speed wobbles, and lastly when riding 90% of the time you'll want to distribute more weight on the front of the board than back like a 60-65%font foot/40-35%back this can vary due to the elements but a good rule of thumb, the wobbles always seem to start in the back
Learn how to tuck like you see him doing in the video. Putting as much body weight on the front truck as you can will eliminate a lot of wobbles. Also dont tighten your trucks just find harder bushings. Your bushings will wear out quicker since they are compressed a lot if they are too soft.
well, you try to slide over the ground as best as you can, probably you´ll fuck up your knees thats why i only go fast with kne pads... YOu know that sierra nevada bail from james kelly? Well fuck yes you do he probably wouldn´t have a scratch on his knees if he wore them. ("Burn it down" if you dont know it)
Just so you know there is a very high chance he is gearing g-forms or another form of protections underneath his pants. I ride them and they are not noticeable at all. The only issue is that they protect against hard slams but not the best to slide on.
Can you guys do a feature with gravitydogz one day , check their Chanel i think they are on a level similar to you or a higher not sure bt wuld be cool comp
fools. that is no where near 100+ km/h are u saying his clothes would flop around at 80km/H ? lmao he is almost standing up. no way thats almost 120km/h
The tunnel and then the burst into daylight. A glorious run.
Thank you dude!
😀😃😄😁 Love watching you Guys Rock those Skate Boards shucks I be Cheering y'all on like Go you Rocking Bro... Love it God Bless...

This is the video that made me buy a longboard... I am now up to 15mph.
O raw run mais insano que já assisti!!!!!!
Mad skills, CRAZY, and QUADS OF STEEL!!!
You know you're going fast when the camera starts getting speed wobbles
excelente manejo de la tabla y edición de vídeo, gracias por este vídeo tan emocionante!
what deck are you running
Very impressive. I had diarrhea watching this.
hope he survives long enough to make more vids like this! impressive!
He still alive xd
I prefer to hear the noise of the board and the road, I think the music volume was too high so at least merge it in the background.
Thumb up and cheers.
Bill Admond agreed
I agree
without a decent mike you'll end up recording the wind
Especially not this cunty music
Fortunately there were no stones on the road.
You know the video is going to be dope when you hear Disturbed.
Amazing
Beautiful location!
what mm lens where you using and where is this road??
Two thumbs for you. Nice and sick race.
Glorious!
I should really skate that some day cause it's just around the corner.
I made maybe 85-90 kph ... and that is sick when you go past 80 and the wind starts to lift you up, just like flying
Amazing Video ! What Bushings Does Marc Escoda Ride ? ;)
He on his way to a boss fight
nice
so cool man!!!
but for real though mad respect for anyone who can do this

Anyone know any other runs filmed on this stretch of road?
No one...

Grimsell pass - Switzerland
Привет из Тольятти!!!!!!!!!!!!Всё чётко!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone, anyone tell me how to avoid speed wobbles. I literally have 2 scars already.

Jerremy Schull Okay, got it. thanks a lot for your help!
Was he late for work?
Danny Zuehlsdorf his gf called him and said she was home alone
Quina taula portes Marc ?
Put some warp stabilizer on that, the camera is moving left and right too much. Thumbs up and cheers.
Such a sick run. Heart attack shit!
the tunnel stretch...sheeeeeesh!!!
just amazing
That was fucking mental. Smashing big hits at the park just seems like child's play compared to this
Holy shit! On an occasional fall, how you protect yourself if you have no knee pads only sliding gloves?
You try to push with your toes and stand on them, rarely works, you just get your legs screwed up.

ok the tunnel was dope
2:04 increíble
como se llama la canción?
Marco Molina Quirós inside the fire de disturbed
wow. wow.
Awesome!!!
AMAZING !!!!
So to stop you have to T-pose
Epic
How you have such a speed
Without engine
Is this related to my body motion
The "tucked position" helps you to have less air resistance, and be more aerodynamic.
Aerodynamics and physics are a wonderful thing
on a even road you d nearly need 10 kw to get to those speeds, most braking is done by friction and ca 80 % is wind what brakes on a raw run
setup?
It's a typical DH set. Looks like some Ronin or Aera K4 trucks, as the shape and wheel exactly cant say
Bear Precisions and Biggies 73mm
No paws down on venom magnums 1v1 race? Anyone?
Come at me bro

die grimselpassstrasse... da hats am strassenrand einen geilen naturgranit bank spot...
I feel robbed. I can only give this a like and I want to give it a Love.
Sick!
Speed limit in Switzerland is 80. Anzieg iss dusse
Transmonumental, empírico, apoteósico.
Legal??
Karen
Of course not.
Is 118 kph really the top speed on the car? That's very strange as cars in the US are governed at 118 MPH.
Can you guys do a feature with gravitydogz one day , check their Chanel i think they are on a level similar to you or a higher not sure bt wuld be cool comp
Rename video to the song title would be more accurate
VÄ OY
Erittäin Nopea vauhti Äijällä
118km/h thats just shy of 80mph! a fair speed for tiny nylon wheels!
Оброзцова
distrubedd
Who the fuck thought disturbed was a good idea?!? Truly nauseating. Tight run tho
you dont like disturbed? its so good man
This is video is getting a like just for playing Disturbed
*This is like watching Bear Grylls. You think 'what a hero climber' and forget there is a camera man doing just the same but with a camera.*
there is a car following this guy
Yeah camera is mounted on a car bonnet or front
Hahah using bold letters like a schoolgirl starving for attention..just to end up saying something cliché and idiotic..looking like a fool
70/80 kmh only😑
Nope. It look much more 100km/h + . I did inline roller downhill in the past and 80kmh didnt look that Fast.
I'm a longboarder and i can tell you with sure that 80km/h wouldn't do that to his clothes. 2:32
fools. that is no where near 100+ km/h are u saying his clothes would flop around at 80km/H ? lmao he is almost standing up. no way thats almost 120km/h
@@DkGrassyKnoll trust me, It is
118 is in my car shurely 107 or 108 on a gps, so that is for shure near real 110kph
