I used to play "When I Am Back On My Feet Again" in a class I taught to offenders. It was thought provoking and inspiring for them. Great song!!! Also, another awesome reaction J and Amber.
Yes, yes yes glad you got to Michael Bolton. This is an absolutely great song but you need to hear him singing his cover of when a Man loves a woman absolute fire!!!!!
The sax player on this song is none other than Kenny G, who was a huge hit that came into his own just ahead of Michael Bolton. I went to a Kenny G concert and Michael Bolton opened for him, about 2 weeks before Michael hit it big, himself. They are a great pair of artists. Both have a long list of hits, mostly in the jazz and R&B/Soul genres. Kenny G actually held for a while, the Guinness World Record for the longest held single note played on a saxophone at over 45 MINUTES. He used a technique known as circular breathing to accomplish this record, but that technique has now been outlawed for further record attempts, as it is somewhat dangerous to perform. As far as Kenny G goes, with most of his hits being instrumentals, check out Silhouette.
It might be sacrilegious to admit, but given the option, I prefer Michael's cover over Otis Redding! Actually, most of Michael's early covers are better to me than the originals. When a Man Loves a Woman and Georgia on My Mind, for example.
The very talented Michael Bolton. He has a fantastic catalog! I could go down the list but I won't. Amber his songs are right up your alley. "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You and "When I'm Back On My Feet Again. They are two of my favorites.
When I'm Back on My Feet Again is one of his best! Even though it's on his Greatest Hits album, I never hear anybody talk about that song. Great recommendation that I'm sure they'll never listen to!
It may not be so fashionable these days, but I really love his voice. Even at the height of his popularity, there was some mocking by guys since a lot of women were so entranced. He was one of many artists to cover the Bee Gees' "To Love Somebody." I saw him when "Time Love and Tenderness" was out. He put on a great concert.. The use of the sax in this was masterful.
He had a really hot streak in the late 80's/ early 90's. Bangers you should check out: "How Can We Be Lovers", "Missing You Now", "Steel Bars", "That's What's Love is About", "Time, Love & Tenderness".
I remember my husband taking me to his concert knowing how lucky he would be when we got home! Lol! Bolton is awesome! Wedding and soulful music. I heard he started in rock but didn’t work! He has a great voice ❤❤
Did you two know Michael Bolton first tried to be a rocker? In 1983 his very first single he released was “FOOLS GAME” sold pretty good but the rest of his album didn’t catch on so his label suggested he turned to adult contemporary and sing more soulful love songs and the rest is history. Give fools game a listen I think you’ll be shocked.
So much emotion is put into his songs it's great to see you finally given into Michael Bolton. He's still got two hand of hits. He had the late 80s 90s cover when it comes to one of the strong men of the time. Hats off to you guys.
I fell i love with Michael Bolton hearing him on the radio and was SHOCKED when I saw a video of him for the first time because I thought he was black from his voice. So in 2013 when he came to Jamaica to perform at our Jazz and Blues festival you best believe I was there screaming at the top of my lungs lol lol lol He was FANTASTIC.
I have seen him live 5x, also went to a charity event with him and Kenny G, I bud on a pair of his jeans and got them. I saw him two yrs ago at Pauma casino, he was 65. He appeared so fragile and stiff as I read that he had a back injury?? BUT his voice was still amazing. I saw him at the Anaheim stadium, brought my 7 yr old granddaughter and my 3 yr old granddaughter, they loved him like their Nana. Some man from the stage came down to get to he 3 yr old to take her on stage, she had casts on her legs from a surgery. Michael held her and sang, Said I loved you but I Iied. Just the two of them with a light on them. It was amazing.
What a great time it was back then to be alive and to switch on the radio and listen to some smooth, amazing ballads sung by the likes of Anita Baker, Taylor Dane, Luther Vandross, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Lisa Stansfield, George Michael, Toni Braxton, and this man Michael Bolton! Just to name a few! Great reaction J and Amber!
Michael Bolton was a Grammy Award Winner and he has a unique and powerful type of voice. He's style of music before specially during 70s was hardcore rock but he was not able to pull off on top charts. So, he decided to changed his genre during mid 80s into a more soulful ballad with a mixture of rock soul. Most of his songs sold worldwide and able to climbed into top charts specially during 80s to 90s. Please react his song "Completely". It's a very beautiful and soulful power ballad ❤
I don’t know if you will read this. I Love watching and listening to you both! The 1 description you have missed, and Michael Bolton is one of the few that has it, he sings with a real ache in his voice that reaches many
Michael Bolton is one of my favorite singers, i saw him live three times and he's amazing !!💯💯🙏 Other great songs of his are Missing You now , Completely, Time ,love & Tenderness ,Fallin
"WHEN IM BACK ON MY FEET AGAIN" "TIME LOVE AND TENDERNESS" "SAID I LOVED YOU BUT I LIED" "STEEL BARS" "HOW CAN WE BE LOVERS" all great song by Michael Bolton. thanks JORDAN/AMBER/JAY❤❤❤
I love Michael Bolton. Been listening to his music forever. I saw him in concert and he sounds perfect. His voice doesn't change at all. One of my favorite artist.
Michael Bolton kills it on this and lots of other songs. Blue-eyed soul for sure. If you like this tune I strongly suggest you check out Curtis Stigers on "I Wonder Why". Similar vocal style and Curtis has 2 incredible sax solos in the song as well. It's a deep track but guarantee you will love it! Keep up the great work guys. Peace out.
He has a pretty cool pop/metal hit called Fools Game right after he went solo. Before going solo he was in a rock band called Blackjack with Bruce Kulick. Bruce went on to become the lead guitar player in KISS after Ace Feeley let. Then a few years later Michael Bolton wrote a huge hit ballad for KISS called Forever.
HIGHLY recommend Michael Bolton's "Time, Love and Tenderness", "Said I Loved You But I Lied", and "When a Man Loves a Woman." This man is a LEGEND. 🥰 His voice is just as amazing today as is was in the 90s. He released a beautiful new song in 2022 titled "Beautiful World", for which I recommend the Lyric Video on Michael Bolton's official RUclips page. 🙂
This is the song that introduced me to Michael Bolton. It got a lot of air play on the local radio stations. He has such a powerful soulful voice. Great reaction. Take care.
Yes finally. You guys have been sorely missing some more Michael Bolton. He is truly one of the best Male Voices out there. To me he is to the Male voice what Celine Dion is to the Female voice. Michael is definitely the most romantic of all singers. You must do "Said I Loved You But I Lied" next. Also you are also dropping the ball on two other male singers. Richard Marx and Josh Groban.
I am a huge Michael Bolton fan, and there are sooo many of his songs I could suggest, but here are some to get you started: Said I loved you, but I lied ( official video), and When a man loves a woman (live). Love what y'all are doing!
This song was my introduction to Michael Bolton, back in the 80's. I've been a fan ever since. Saw him in concert back in'92. Thank you for the memories,
MB was The Man back in the day - many hits! Women loved him and men were jealous of him. 😄 BTW, you guys both love sax and keyboards, right? You really should give Billy Joel's "New York State Of Mind (from Old Grey Whistle Test)" a look. It's a cool song and this version has great sax and piano solos in it.
Yeeeeesss!!! Finally guys! Knew you’d absolutely love this, especially the horns Amber? Been a fan of Michael for 31 years, oh my goodness he’s dreamy… and live too, still hitting those notes. There’s a list for you to react too as long as my arm of my favourites because they all are without a shadow of doubt. Time, love and tenderness is definitely in my top 5 along with his duet with Patti la’ Belle ‘we’re not making love’ love him! Thanks for this reaction ❤
One of my favorite songs. Try Steele Bars, he wrote that with Bob Dylan. Been a MB fan since 1991 and seen about 160 concerts in 30+ years. In the beginning he opened for Ozzy Osborne in his band Black Jack along with Bruce Kulick.
I just took a mental trip to high school !❤ Love seeing young people enjoying the music that made a mark in our stories. The 90’s was a great time to be alive.
My favorite is to love somebody. But I love everyone of his songs. Time love and tenderness, as someone mentioned earlier, when a man loves a woman, I said, I loved you, but I lied, I think there’s one called I’m missing you? Oh gosh, steel bars, man, beautiful, beautiful beautiful singer!
This man is incredible. He started off as a heavy-metal singer before striking it big as an adult-contemporary singer. One of his defining performances was singing the end-credits/Oscar version of "Go the Distance" for Disney's Hercules. "When a Man Loves a Woman" is also immensely impressive. Listen to those two to have your minds blown!
When I’m back on my feet again is a powerfully emotional song. Definitely the kind of song you blast when you’re going through a low point in your life
My aunt in law had this CD and we listened to it everyday. Michael Bolton has a powerful voice. I don't think he ever sang a bad song. I love Time, Love and Tenderness. I got hoarse trying to sing those notes but love it
The radio station where my ex worked played the bat stuffing out of this one and I thought I didn't want to hear it again. But after all these years, it's almost like hearing it the first time. Thanks for the reminder.
Michael Bolton used to sing heavier (almost hard rock ) with Bruce Kulick from KISS and Aldo Nova...Check out the song "Fools Game"!!! You will appreciate another side of Michael Bolton..
I have always absolutely loved Michael's voice. Blue-eyed soul at its best! I had such a huge crush on him back in the 80's when I was in high school. It's funny because he is the same age as my parents 😂
Everything Michael Bolton sings is fabulous. He helped mend a broken heart 💔 with me through the 90s. You should react to Time, Love and Tenderness but all his songs are golden
You have to check out the live Grammy performance of How Am I Supposed to Live Without You. Michael Bolton and Kenny G. Incredible. Can't go wrong with Michael, even now as an old man, but just so you know, the first like 10 or 11 tracks on his first Greatest Hits album are absolute fire. I was born in 1984 and grew up listening to him with my mom. I always loved him, but kept that to myself until I was old enough not to give a damn because it wasn't cool back then to be a boy that liked Michael Bolton!
"Said I Loved You But I Lied" also a beautiful song by him.
This comment right here!❤
My favorite!!!! ❤❤❤
"Said I Loved You But I Lied" is his best song, easily, and that says something because he had so many good songs.
YES!
Don’t forget “Steel Bars”…
"When I'm Back On My Feet Again" is a song of his that's very powerful!!! Definitely worthy of a listen :)
Thats always been my favorite tune by him
I used to play "When I Am Back On My Feet Again" in a class I taught to offenders.
Yeah if you haven't seen it you need to check out Austin Brown when a Man loves a woman he blew Michael Bolton's out of the water
Depending on your taste yes Austin Brown sings a great version of this song. But I still prefer the Michael Bolton version.
Try reacting to him singing "When a Man Loves a Woman." It will blow you away ❤️❤️❤️
Have you heard have you heard Austin Brown from home free singing when a Man loves a woman
Every day..all day….When a Man Loves a Woman…NEXT PLEASE
When a man loves a woman is a Percy Sledge song he does it better he is the original artist.
I gotta go with Michael Bolton over Percy sledge
100% when a man loves a women❤❤❤
The sax player on this song is none other than Kenny G, who was a huge hit that came into his own just ahead of Michael Bolton. As far as Kenny G goes, with most of his hits being instrumentals, check out Silhouette.
I also saw Michael Bolton open for Kenny G and can't think of one without remembering the other. They were both great!
Te sax player is a black guy on this one!!
The Sax Player is not Kenny.G.
@@ricardagottschalk_duran2677 The sax solo is played by Kenny G on the recording, but someone else is shown playing sax in the music video.
His cover of "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" is incredible!
It might be sacrilegious to admit, but given the option, I prefer Michael's cover over Otis Redding! Actually, most of Michael's early covers are better to me than the originals. When a Man Loves a Woman and Georgia on My Mind, for example.
His When A Man Loves A Woman cover will blow you away! ❤
Finally y'all made it back to Michael Bolton.. he's got a lot of great you need to do more
Michael Bolton "Said I Loved you, but I lied" is incredible.
The very talented Michael Bolton. He has a fantastic catalog! I could go down the list but I won't. Amber his songs are right up your alley. "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You and "When I'm Back On My Feet Again. They are two of my favorites.

Michael Boltons version of "When A Man Loves A Woman" is just amazing. ❤🎼🎙
The original is by Percy Sledge... normally I don't like remakes but Michael's version is something special.
If you wanna know a great Michael Bolton song, it has the voice of M. Bolton and the horns of Kenny G, “ Missing You”
Yes great song love it ❤❤❤
Yes, and with Teri Hatcher in the music video. I believe that was before Teri was cast in the Superman tv series.
I remember my husband taking me to his concert knowing how lucky he would be when we got home! Lol! Bolton is awesome! Wedding and soulful music. I heard he started in rock but didn’t work! He has a great voice ❤❤
Lol!
So glad you finally got back to Michael Bolton Thank You Thank You the man has a one of a kind voice AWESOME!
He has so many to pick from. You may know his voice from the Disney movie "Hercules". He sings the song "Go the Distance" during the end credits.

I've always loved Michael Bolton! This is my favorite by him. Such a strong, beautiful, rich voice! So heartfelt and soulful!
Michael Bolton was a Grammy Award Winner and he has a unique and powerful type of voice. " Dock of the bay" is a great Michael Bolton song,, it shows his excellent range in his voice
Michael did the song "Missing You Now" with kenny G on his Time, Love & Tenderness album from 91. Those two are magic together!
“Fools Game” original video, when he was a rock singer before he sang ballads!
Time Love and Tenderness is an awesome song! Also, Can I Touch You There. Love you guys!! ❤😊

Love everything Michael Bolton. One of my favorites.❤
Ome of the sexiest voice he is very well known here in the Philippines. For me his voice is timeless!!
I saw Michael in concert a couple of months ago, he's still great
This is the song that introduced me to Michael Bolton. It got a lot of air play on the local radio stations. He has such a powerful soulful voice. Great reaction. Take care.

You should check out his version of "Georgia on my Mind." Incredible.
YESSSSSSSSS!
I know a lot of people like to poke fun at him, but he has got a phenomenal voice. His voice just pierces through your heart. He’s insanely talented!
Let me just say that the ladies love Michael Bolton! He has many beautiful songs.
Amber will love MB singing "When A Man Loves A Woman" so soulful😊
This song was my introduction to Michael Bolton, back in the 80's. I've been a fan ever since. Saw him in concert back in'92. Thank you for the memories,

Michael Bolton can also sing opera. He's great!
Time, Love, and Tenderness has to be one of his most inspirational songs ever. It's one you can play over and over and it never gets old.
How Am I supposed to Live Without You is my favourite track of his, which you did previously. Such a great vocalist!
How am I supposed to live without you 💔 Love it! You gotta hear it!
I celebrate the man’s entire catalog.
Hes is such a great singer
I met him back in 1993 in LA at his recording studio. My cousin was the engineer for several of his albums. Really nice guy.
One of the best vocalists of all time
His "When a Man Loves a Woman" is excellent, even if it is a cover.
He has a song called "Missing You" with Kenny G that is really good. Kenny G plays a soprano saxophone I believe
Michael Bolton - LOVE IS A WONDERFUL THING - Next please!!!!
I second this 😊
My favorite is to love somebody. But I love everyone of his songs. Time love and tenderness, as someone mentioned earlier, when a man loves a woman, I said, I loved you, but I lied, I think there’s one called I’m missing you? Oh gosh, steel bars, man, beautiful, beautiful beautiful singer!

When I’m back on my feet again is a powerfully emotional song. Definitely the kind of song you blast when you’re going through a low point in your life
I saw him in concert 2nd row back in the 90’s and he was amazing!
Listen to this man sing "Georgia (on my mind)". That is all.
My aunt in law had this CD and we listened to it everyday. Michael Bolton has a powerful voice. I don't think he ever sang a bad song. I love Time, Love and Tenderness. I got hoarse trying to sing those notes but love it
One of the greatest male singers of all time!! Michael & James Ingram both had the same kind of tone in their voices!!
There are so many great hits by Michael Bolton my favourite one is Steel Bars this tune is an absolute banger.
This is my favorite Bolton song.I could listen to it all day long.
Fantastic reaction ❤😊I remember playing this CD album over and over again when it was released.❤
I really like his Christmas Album.
late 90s would drive around in my new red Corvette listening to the Timeless CD over and over; good times!!
Such an incredible voice.
The love of my life!!! Have always just had the biggest crush on this man. Steel bars next, please!!!!!
You should react more to Michael Bolton. "Said I Loved You But I Lied" and "When a Man Loves a Woman (live)" are both must react songs!
Hard to believe he was the frontman for the hard rock/heavy metal band, Blackjack in the 70's-80's.
I always loved him, but kept that to myself until I was old enough not to give a damn because it wasn't cool back then to be a boy that liked Michael Bolton!
Jay & Amber, he does an great cover of "When A Man Loves A Woman"! I prefer the Percy Sledge original, 1966.
Me too!
So many great songs, brings me back in time. Enjoy everyone.
