@@MrPeanut624 It doesn't have to follow lore, the X-02A was playable in Ace Combat Zero. Which took place in 1995, the X-02A wasn't even close to being produced at the time. It was finalized and produced 10 years later during the Usean Continental War in 2004-2005 (Ace Combat 04) and about a year later 5 more units were made and all saw use in combat by Free Erusea (Operation Katina). Only to be shot down by Mobius 1. Also, Just because the CFA-44 is Estovakian doesn't mean anything. It doesn't have to follow lore, we have the ADF series of planes to use, but lore wise Trigger wouldn't be anywhere near them let alone trusted to use them. The only Cannon superplane that a protagonist (Playable Character) we know uses is the XFA-27 which was piloted by Scarface 1. Nemo can be another candidate but we only saw what he could do in a simulation so I'm not going to really count it. All other main title protagonists use regular Aircraft in the actual lore. The superplanes are just extra goodies for us to mess around with.
Devs have already confirmed that it's not happening this game due to inexperience with the Unreal 4 netcode (they did try tho, dataminers have found co-op assets in the game) However, I think theyve also said that they will try to bring Co-op to the next game
You know you could just made like a little thing for the Ace combat 4 cutscene instead of using the actual cutscene to be lazy you can actually remake the cutscene because it will be a lot cooler if you did

The sci-fi flying junk is kind of a staple of the AC series. No one will force you to fly them but a lot of fans want them due to their unique traits. Besides, what more real world aircraft could be in the game that actually matter? Pretty much all of the fighters and multiroles anyone gives a damn about are in the game.
Is this your first AC game cause anyone who's played the older titles have way more respect for the ADF series of aircraft and understand their is more lore behind them than real world aircraft. I'd like to see more real more world aircraft from previous titles too, but I'm not going to shit on project aces fictional aircraft.
Of the aircraft in Ace Combat 7, only 3 are "sci fi flying junk" and of those 3 "flying junk" 2 of those planes have a long connection to the Ace Combat series.
