Russell actually lost his falsetto for a short time a while back....he regained by taking better care of himself... he also went to a vocal coach and got himself back together, and even went back to school to study music for a bit. Still one of the purest falsettos in the game.
Howard could have been sick that day all going through a health concern. I'm sure you heard about Freddie Jackson. He just opened up about his health struggles. We should be kind.

There were better acts and performances Evelyn Champagne King always brings energy, personality , The O’Jays are retiring so it was good to see them one last time , Charlie Wilson was in fire as usual , ZAPP turned it out, Al Green 🙌🏿 even overweight his voice ain’t changed, Dionne Warwick mesmerized, Santana at sunset was something to behold , Lionel Ritchie closed it out and was 🔥 Diana Ross delivered as expected most of the groups had different members from what I saw. Overall despite horrible organization it was worth it, what a once on lifetime bill of acts, El Debarge deserved better, SOS no show, Cameo with no Larry Blackmon 🙁man I could go on I’m out ✌🏿
I saw Jody Watley a few years ago at the Essence Music festival. She sounds good, but also had her moments of struggling vocally. They are all just getting old. 😂😂
