I'm in awe. So beautiful and simple. In Malaysia, what we (Muslims) usually will wear to a wedding; for the ladies is what we call Baju Kurung (traditional clothing) with varieties of colours, flowers or abstracts design while for the men, either a matching shirt with their partners / any shirt (solo) + a jeans/slack pants. And usually the families of both the bride and groom, they will choose one theme colour for their respective family. Like for me, my parents are divorced, so when it was our (me+hubby) wedding day, my dad's family came wearing green/olive green, my mom's family wear Batik while my hubby's side wear all dusty pink.

Islamic cultures have different and similar faiths. Different in the sense of, architecture, history, embroidery etc. that is specific to the culture in question. And similar in the sense that you take a member of all the communities to pray together and they would not feel disoriented. That's the strength of our Ummah. I am not even talking about our generosity, which is unmatched in the world.
