I appreciate this guide. I made a seasonal character that I ended up not liking, and was considering deleting it at 56. But it looks like the play will just be to finish the quest line I'm on and then do this swap. Saved me a lot of time and effort
OMG! I couldn't figure out how to get more beginner black stones other than using regular black stones (which isn't good, so I didn't). Now I can redo the beginning quests this way to get more beginner black stones to get Narchillian gear! I thought I would have to wait til next season. Thanks EvilDoUsHarn!

FYI: The skill point difference can be regained by using the shortened (leveling milestone only) main quest in Velia. You mention this but it needs to be said for those skipping. Oh, and don't skip Levi's videos...
what is that leveling milestone only quest? after timepiece i did the honored family questline and ended up with 1642 SP while my drak which was the original char has 1655 SP
@@RuneAnime It is the shortened quest in Velia that the dud with the ball on a stick gives you. You get a crossroads quest as long as you have made it through to Valencia in the main quest at least once. It gives you a choice of the original main quest or to just level up though grinding/sidequesting. If you are already level 61+ and choose to do the grinding/sidequesting route, you just automatically hit all the milestones and gain free skill point EXP.

Btw if you ever have the quests where you have to back out of the black spirit and talk to him again. A neat little work around is; instead of backing out fully, what you do is from the black spirit menu, just go to Enhancement, and then back out of the enhancement menu. That should progress whatever quests!
Even if you go past the alustian quest on the new character you still get the choice to do the simplified season crossroad instantly after using timepiece. You also can do both characters with the simplified main quest if you do the Eternal winter questline on the first season character. You don't get a second set of leveling aid boxes though. (Though since you are 61 already you don't need them.) I did both my drakinia and my ranger who was level 24 and had already went past the Alustian quest, with the season simplified main quest.
@@KomboKong no each of the 2 should be separate. my first season i did the full quest and picked up the simplified on the timepiece character. i assume you can do simplified on both anyway. i was remarking the new one doesn't change that. this season i got a new message saying there was a 2nd chance to pick simplified if you do the new full balenos questline.
@@KomboKong you're welcome. I'm on pc so can't speak for console. Hopefully it should be the same. I did up to velia this season on the new balenos. There are several crossroad quests now. Once i do the timepiece i'll pick the other options and might finish up to the 2nd chance for simplified. 0
You can also go into another option of the black spirit and back out of that option (like clicking a quest and then click go back) to have the quest chat completion pop up.
on god i wouldnt be able to play this game properly without your videos. There is SO MUCH content in this game which sometimes is so complicated that im getting frustrated in some situations, but then i search for (insert question here) + EvilDoUsHarm on youtube and im getting a result like 99% of the times. Thanks for your effort and keep up the good work!
Great guide! You don't have to close and re-open the black spirit each time though. You can simply use the "Go Back" (backspace key) option to refresh your black spirit.
An update. I just used this guide and for the Drakania if you want to convert the awakening weapon you have to use the Tuvala pendant. While Drakania awakening isn't out yet as of 13 July 22, the Tuvala Pendant is used in place of an awakening weapon. The Drakania can't equip it, but it can be leveled up like any tuvala gear. Just converted my PEN Tuvala pendant to a PEN Tuvala Crimson Glaive for my new Lahn.
There is a button that says "back" on the black spirit quest, you DO NOT have to back out over and over again... 10:30 after you accept the quest, literally click ANY other quest then click the "back" button, itll take you to black spirit main menu and u click "chat" and its complete there... dont need to do this tedious back out 35 times. Great vid and advice otherwise. as always. best place for bdo knowledge.
There's a last step that no RUclipsr seems to be mentioning. WIth the beginner blackstones you can then make naru gear up to pen and convert them through a frughar/black spirit quest into narchillian weapons/armour. I had pen tuvala with my main season char including acessories. I left them with the main, except the acessories which i gave to my new season char/main alt that i used the time piece with. Then, I made a naru set to pen, converted them to narchillian (after 'erly' graduation) meaning my main alt has 240 ap within about two hours of its creation :D. My main is IV boss from Jetina with the acessories you get from getting to lvl 62 which is now the lvl of both chars. :D
Great plan, I’m never sure what to do with naru stuff and beginner stones. I’m not even clear on what narchillian gear is, tbh, except that it’s like a version of tuvala? So this is a way to get your season + your timepieced “extra” characters geared - and one wears the tuvala and one you make a set of naru? Interesting, I’ll have to figure that out more, thanks!
@@kata7628 one is with the boss gear made from tuvala and one with narch made from naru. As someone said you can only make this once. The AP is very close to the pen tuvala but my DP is a little lower. I'm also using a different shield that is slightly better for 700m but the narch warrior is ap 240
I already made my full set of narchillan gear when it came out and put out a guide on it ha! You can only do it once though... they did change it so you can box the pieces back up and transfer them with a recent patch.

This season I will do it, I think. The only thing I'm still unsure about is what to do about gear for the new season character if I want the old character to keep the pen tuvala gear.
I wish I had seen this before - like two days ago. I used the timepiece because someone I thought knew better, told me to. My character was not at 61 and I did not finish all the quests. I basically wasted all that time in the game for nothing. Now I have no idea what to do. I will be watching your videos for on now.

im sure before /other seasonal chars you had to delete the timepiece ,so i did it early ...didnt graduate and somehow i still haven't seemed to have done my awakening quest ..today i find out there are conversion stones or somthing so again i havent once yet completed a seasonal charactor just ....mumbles a lot . wish i seen your vids earlier i havent much time the last 5 years looking after my 2 grandchildren ,keep up the great vids and sharing mate ! take care and God Bless
You could also, rather than exit the black spirit then talking to him again, just you know open enhancement window then close it, quest will be complete and it's way faster
I think they update the fughar timepiece because I played BDO in 2019 and the Fughare timepiece only allow you transfer your character lvl, skills and combat experience but your season character would become lvl 1 again now they make it more attractieve for new players to create new character without having to grind a lot.
i do not understand why it has to be so difficult to just play a different class on the season. as a new player who wants to test multiple classes, it's a massive and seemingly unnecessary turn off to the game. i don't even care about losing the xp or the gear i've upgraded. but we should be able to make a new character, and at least get the new naru gear and use whatever stones we have left over. even with these great guides, i've spent all day just trying to play the game
How do I keep my PEN Tuvala weapons on my Seasonal character? it's going to be my main class but I dont want to exchange my current tuvala to my transfer character

I stopped at the entrance to Velia, did not talk to anyone /even Hans, and did not get the quest choice at all there was no crossroad for my new char. So this aparently not a option to do anymore.
so I have a 61 musa full pen tuvala now I use time piece to nova I dont use the coupon because i want to use the musa gear later off season if I create NEW tuvala gear on the nova and also pen it, which gear will be converted to tuvala gear which can be used after the season?
Hey. I used two fughar time pieces at this winter season and i have 3 char on 61. Now on each one i have enchanted tuvala weapons because i had plenty of stones etc so i made them. Now the question is do this weapons will convert automaticly into regular at the end of the season without using coupons. I dont understand how it works. Also on two characters i have those coupons. Also on 6:57 you showing that You have non season Naru set how did you do because after using time piece my rest characters are naked :D
So I want to keep my current season character (warrior) and just make the free level 61. I understand that I shouldn't transfer my weapons if I want to keep it on my OG season character. But how does that work when I want to convert to boss gear post graduation. Is boss exchange coupon transferable to my OG character? Or do I take the OG's PEN tuvala weapon on my new character, upgrade it to the boss gear, and transfer it back through storage? In essence, how do I get the boss gear on my OG character?
if replicate all the gear and both characters stay geared i will def. use that but in this case no i prefer to wait new season and start my sharingan ninja
You have to do the original quest line at least once on your account. If you have never done the OG main quest with any character you can’t get the simplified version.

I did finish story line with my main character and i wanted to make new character but I passed the Hans quest now I'm stuck i can't recover my progress which is simplified how do I get my progress to new character I'm missing my bag slots and whole story line ?
@@KingJerbear I saw what you meant. Updated the verbiage in the op. Use the timepiece before graduating is the note. Once you graduate, the item is unusable at all. And you can tag any character you want. Tagging is different from the timepiece. Edit : autocorrect destroyed my reply lol
After talking with alastin the quest (crossroad - simplified )didnt appear Everything are okay items and all but this quest thing didnt show up , did it change im just revrntly played lvl 61
can still pick simplified questline on target character, even tho the origin character also took it when he/she was doing his/her own questline? bcs iirc from your old timepiece video, we couldn't
But now I've screwed my original character, who has no gear. How is this a good thing? This would make a lot more sense to me, if my gear 'duplicated' and I had a geared 61 and my original 61 remained playable as she had her gear.
Great video for sure but I'm still a little confused -- So I want to continue to use my current season character as my main character after this current season is over .. is it still possible to use the timepiece to boost another character? It's just more so about using those coupons that I would not be following in my case?
Yea, just wait til the last day, do the transfer, and don't use the coupons. The gear will convert as it is (your current character) even though it's on the new character. Then just put it into a storage and swap it back the next day.
Hey so season ends in 2 days and I want to get free lvl 61 character but I want to keep playing my current season char (drakania) for pvp. So i understand that I DONT use the weapon exchange coupons and just wait for season to end so my drakania weapons in my storage are converted into boss weapons. BUT what about my tuvala armour? Do i convert that to boss armor too for my drakania? Then how do i get my new lvl 61 character have tuvala armour too?
DUmb question here...How do you keep /copy the gear to the new character. Or another way, after the transfer process is one of the characters without gear??
What if you haven't fully completed the story yet. If you fast forward the story on a new character will you be able to continue on the story from the point you were on the older character ?

If this is your first character, there is the narchillon gear from fughar. if it's a different one, you'll have to buy gear off of the central marketplace

what happens if you go straight to velia at level 1? it seems like i have no quests, My character is 61, Hans has no quest, alustin has no quest

tip: instead of going out of black spirit you can also go to enhance, go out and then do the chat option :)

Following your guide, I now have one character with no gear at all, and one with no weapons.
10:40 you dont need to exit the black spirit, just enter and exit the enchant menu and it updates, same for auto complete quests from black spirit.

Hey. I used two fughar time pieces at this winter season and i have 3 char on 61. Now on each one i have enchanted tuvala weapons because i had plenty of stones etc so i made them. Now the question is do this weapons will convert automaticly into regular at the end of the season without using coupons. I dont understand how it works. Also on two characters i have those coupons. Also on 6:57 you showing that You have non season Naru set how did you do because after using time piece my rest characters are naked :D
So I want to keep my current season character (warrior) and just make the free level 61. I understand that I shouldn't transfer my weapons if I want to keep it on my OG season character. But how does that work when I want to convert to boss gear post graduation. Is boss exchange coupon transferable to my OG character? Or do I take the OG's PEN tuvala weapon on my new character, upgrade it to the boss gear, and transfer it back through storage? In essence, how do I get the boss gear on my OG character?
when you do the quick quest do you get the contribution and energy benefit?

if replicate all the gear and both characters stay geared i will def. use that but in this case no i prefer to wait new season and start my sharingan ninja

You have to do the original quest line at least once on your account. If you have never done the OG main quest with any character you can’t get the simplified version.

I did finish story line with my main character and i wanted to make new character but I passed the Hans quest now I'm stuck i can't recover my progress which is simplified how do I get my progress to new character I'm missing my bag slots and whole story line ?
Just did the timpiece but for the instant complete quest after you talk to hans it does not lead me to austin is that outdated?
USE THE TIMEPIECE BEFORE GRADUATING. You cannot use it after graduating. Just think this is an important note.

@@KingJerbear I saw what you meant. Updated the verbiage in the op. Use the timepiece before graduating is the note. Once you graduate, the item is unusable at all.
And you can tag any character you want. Tagging is different from the timepiece.

After talking with alastin the quest (crossroad - simplified )didnt appear

But now I've screwed my original character, who has no gear. How is this a good thing? This would make a lot more sense to me, if my gear 'duplicated' and I had a geared 61 and my original 61 remained playable as she had her gear.

Yea, just wait til the last day, do the transfer, and don't use the coupons. The gear will convert as it is (your current character) even though it's on the new character. Then just put it into a storage and swap it back the next day.
Hey so season ends in 2 days and I want to get free lvl 61 character but I want to keep playing my current season char (drakania) for pvp. So i understand that I DONT use the weapon exchange coupons and just wait for season to end so my drakania weapons in my storage are converted into boss weapons. BUT what about my tuvala armour? Do i convert that to boss armor too for my drakania? Then how do i get my new lvl 61 character have tuvala armour too?
DUmb question here...How do you keep /copy the gear to the new character. Or another way, after the transfer process is one of the characters without gear??
What about pearl inventory do I need to put all my stuff into the storage to do it?

What if you haven't fully completed the story yet. If you fast forward the story on a new character will you be able to continue on the story from the point you were on the older character ?
Appreciate the help you provide to noobs like myself, this game is fun but kind of a maze. I did a timepiece transfer, and I am curious, how to I get good gear with my old season character now that they don't have Tuvala gear and out of season?
If this is your first character, there is the narchillon gear from fughar. if it's a different one, you'll have to buy gear off of the central marketplace
