Idols can date, it's not fair to make the blanket statement that idols can't date. No one can forbid someone from dating unless they sign a contract. The only time I think idols are encouraged not to date is when they are still rookies, but usually they are very young and busy so it's usually not that big of a deal. I'm sure plenty of idols are dating but are just keeping it private and I don't blame them. Some fans just don't know how to mind their own business.
