    I've been wondering about Combart Corner gloves for a long time. I know Duke Roufus was involved in the development of the HMIT line so I'm not surprised they're great. I'm going to order a pair ASAP.

      Thanks! Yeah I was on the fence about getting a pair until recently. My boxing gym used to use them to make their own custom stock gloves for group classes years ago, so I've known about their presence in the community. I was really surprised about the overall fit and finish of this gloves which turned out to be really nice.

      Can't beat that you top notch Thai quality in a form fitting boxing glove! They look like superb quality just from the video. Looks just as good or better then some of the higher end gloves, so at 150$ that's a great value.

    Really enjoy your videos.....far and away the best, most honest reviews.
    Have a pair of 12oz Fairtex BGV9's for the past couple years (I only hit the bag these days...at 63, my sparring days are long over). The padding and stitching have held up beautifully and the gloves fit my hands well (very good tight fist). My only criticism of the BGV9's is that the leather quality is not the greatest (the leather has cracked and while still intact will probably tear soon so looking to find a replacement soon. I could just order another pair of BGV9's (can get them cheap on Amazon...well under $100.00) but was thinking of getting something different. I prefer a balanced, streamlined Mexican style glove. What would you recommend between the Combat Corner HMIT's, Punch Fuerte Elites, or Fairtex BGV9's (or something else) ?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  3 года назад

      Thanks man, I’d go with the combat corners

    Fighting sports or combat corner? Which is better in the long run? And works better for sparring?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  5 лет назад +3

      Depends on the glove model tbh, can’t determine on the brand alone. As far as quality goes, the combat corner HMIT is better than fighting sports.

    nice ! how do they compare to sabas pro ?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  5 лет назад +1

      Profile/ size wise pretty close, quality slightly better than Sabas. Padding is more protective and feels more dense than Pro Series. Also foam puts your hand in a slightly curved position (not in an uncomfortable way, but its noticeable) to ensure landing on two front knuckles.
