Mod creator here, glad to see you enjoyed playing with my mod. The two yellow chests you found in your run are Munitions Chests that are guaranteed to give you a bullet modifier and works with most major mods for the game too. To be honest, I don't even remember where the idea for the AK-94 came from, other than I thought it'd be really funny.
Also pet rock is actually an eldritch being that dwells beyond both time and space and the "Your Soul is Mine" pop up has a 1 in 100 chance of playing whenever you clear a room with it.

My first mimic was one of the black chests. At the time I didn't even know mimic existed so I almost died.

The most op gun i ever had was the Big Bang gun taped to Dragunfire (or the reverse of that(the icon was big bang)
This resulted in a fully automatick big band gun with over 800 ammo and firerate of dragunfire
