Chamillionaire is a dope name! His mixtape messiah series he also did the roll call tracks where he spit like other rappers in the industry which also showed his versatility similar to a chameleon
This album was not Em rapping about rapping - I see that for MTBMB and Kamikaze, but not Death of Slim Shady. Has my guy even listened to the album? Saying Em only hit because he was signed to Dre - my guy showed his ass with that. Em is insanely talented - the fact that he's 50 and rapping at this level is insane. Put some respec on his name! Just realised it's that Rain guy who used to advertise his dead music on URL 😂
Jay z outrapping em is crazy 😂 if em hasn't impressed you for a while, jay hasn't done shit in years 😂😂😂 he just be sitting in his laurels and nostalgia Em bodied him once, he can do it again
Guy on left clearly hasn’t listened to the album and it’s cringey for him to talk on Em. Save the embarrassment and get rid of this guy from the pod 🤦🏻♂️
Would you rather have Da Baby career or Tech N9ne career is the same thing as asking would you rather have a cult fan base with a steady income FOREVER or rely on the moment and whats cool right now. Now let me say that I think Da Baby is 🔥 but Techs career path is significantly better by a long shot. And thats the exact reason why I think artists should value longevity more than the moment. The day artists start valuing building a relationship with the people through their music is the day rap music becomes so much better. Rapsody is one of those artists, shes taking the long road building a relationship with her fan base and its going to benefit her more in the long run.
to Rain's point though, he said just gimme the money and ill get out of here. A lot of things can happen over a 20 year period. If you pass away after winning the lottery, do they still pay out your next of kin?
@@rapgrid I absolutely understand his point of view and could relate to it in some ways. Theres certain things I would probably do with music (like ghost write/engineer/produce) get that money and dip…but as far as Tech I think his music is absolutely going to feed his family after he’s gone atleast to some extent. It obviously depends on what you’re personally trying to get out of music and I would follow Tech N9nes footsteps for sure.
One of the most tilting things I heard in this episode is when my guy in the purple shirt said Meg and Ice Spice look healthy with the weight loss, and the dude next to Drect says “but im talkin about preference, do you like thick or petite” my nigga your fuckin opinion doesnt matter over peoples health and well being. Thats the problem with us man, we should be encouraging health and comfort ability within ourselves and especially our women. If they feel better being thin, encourage that. If they feel better thick, encourage that. Its not about whats appealing to our eyeballs, its about our well being. Smh dawg!
“They was never signed to DRE!” That is such a cop out cheap ass way to discredit Eminem. If you just plain don’t like his music, thats valid, I get it but comments like that make your opinion so much less objective than people realize. “Go live life and experience something and tell a story” That is exactly what Eminem did with his new album. Quite honestly I think alot of people have a preconceived opinion of Eminem these days and it makes it difficult for them to even give the music a chance. Minus ALL of that, the guy is 52 years old, why is everyone so critical about his music!?I don’t think there is any other rap icon with the same respect and status that gets shit on like Eminem does. And I’m the guy that hates to bring up race, but I think the reason for this is because hes white and hes the ONLY rap icon doing what hes doing. Rap is young, what Eminem is doing LITERALLY has never been done before and I truthfully think his skin color is why hes not getting the flowers he deserves. I think its bullshit to be very honest.
Pffft we hate cos he used to be good, and now AI Eminem is more fun to listen to. The new album and the last 4 or 5 albums have been the worst. He should retire cos it's embarrassing
@@dr_redbanRL Bro my point is no one should shitting on the pioneers, I would say the same thing about Hov and Nas if they got the amount of hate Em gets. If you don’t like the new shit then you don’t like it dawg, but why are we bashing the legends?I don’t think thats right.
@@dr_redbanRL as much as I might not like Kanyes music these days, I wouldn’t shit on his work or where hes at creatively. He inspired a whole era of my life, thats all I’m saying man.

Yall take on Ems Album was off

Fireeee pod fellas
He’s getting his Flowers that’s why he’s in the forefront of the conversation
even having the conversation is honoring his impact.
Another artist I would show to the young bucks is Scarface, Ice Cube, and Juelz Santana

This is a great ass podcast
Always notice Hov's biggest fans always be underplaying other artists. Jay Z is great but some of you act like he's your sugar daddy or something
1:20:49 KRS also has a song called "13 and Good" which he talks about a romantic relationship with a minor
“There is a million people in Dallas, you can go platinum over there!” Yooo was that Serius Jonez!?
he said "China" to Jin. Just a play off his words

He really trying to talk to a 50 yr old man like 20. I think Em was experiencing more life tha. You in diapers.
