Congratulations!!! Now for the next step, go get those hours! It can be a difficult journey at times, just don’t get complacent and always make sure you do right by your students. You got this!
Brad congratulations, I am a captain at American and have been following your journey. Once you have instructed for a year or so reach out to to me. I will be able to get you an interview at Piedmont. Once again congratulations and welcome to the club!
Thank you so much! I will definitely do that. Please email me at bradtakesflight@gmail.com so we can connect. Piedmont would be a dream for me and my family.
I would love to be able to bring that to you, but Blue Line had a policy against filming during maneuvers. Hopefully I’ll be able to bring more in flight footage to the channel soon.
Excellent job! Any idea where you're going to be instructing yet? Also, how much did the entire program cost you? It was around $18000 for my private going part time in Lexington NC earlier this year. Took 63hrs at my checkride.
Thank you!🙏🏻 I am applying to schools along the east coast. Not sure where I will end up yet. The entire program cost $100,000 plus checkrides, supplies, gear, and rent.
@@BradTakesFlight that's not as bad as I figured it would be. If you want your 1500hrs quickly I'd go for a larger flight school. I went part time to get my PPL and my instructor had right at 600hrs when i started and when I finished 14 months later he had just topped 1000hrs. The school had 2 Cherokees, a citabria, and maybe 3 instructors. So the guys weren't as busy as they wanted to be.
It depends on the school and the job, but realistically no. You could probably go to a accelerate flight school, but you’re gonna have to take time off in order to work. It really defeats the purpose of going to an accelerated program that’s going to cost a bunch of money. You’re probably better off going to a school that is somewhat accelerated, but allows you to pay as you go and take time off as needed.
@ I’m actually planning to enroll next year. What does the 100k include? Does it include Checkride costs, online ground school, books etc.? And do they charge extra if you go beyond your hours of flying like ATP?
The cost includes the ground school and basic flight time. Everything else (checkrides, books, rent, equipment, etc) cost extra. They do charge for any extra hours need for flights as well. Feel free to email me and we can discuss your situation further. bradtakesflight@gmail.com

🙌🏻✈️
LETS GOOO!!!!! congrats man!!! 🎉🙌
Thank you sir 🙌🏻🛩️
Way to go Brad!!!
Thank you 🙌🏻✈️🙏🏻
Awesome! Big congrats on the MEI and finishing the program! Now go out there and do some flying for fun and just enjoy being up there.
I can’t wait! It’s gonna be a bit weird not preparing for a checkride lol
You graduated on time, on the exact day of 5.5 months! Solid work and congrats on graduating!
5 months and 1 day! Really happy with the results from my training. A big thank you to all the staff and students that helped along the way!
Congratulations! Thats some commitment to get it all done!
Thank you! It was quite the journey 🙌🏻
Woooohooooo! Well done Brad!
Thank you 🙏🏻

Congratulations! Excited to see what’s next for you. How long did it take for you to get all your ratings?
Thank you. 🙏🏻 I’m excited as well.
I took 5 months and 1 day!
@@BradTakesFlight that’s awesome! You really rocked all those out fast!
Need some in flight footage. Would like to see the drag demo.

The market it’s kind of slow right now. I’ll have to take what I can get, but I’m targeting larger schools first
Is it possible to work while doing the accelarated program? Or is it impossible?😅

Congrats, its. Certificate, not a License…. There is a real legal difference and we should never let it become a license
Thanks
Everyone can buy a multi-engine airplane…
Just don’t turn the other one on til you get your ME license….
Done deal….
