This is a great review video right here. Here are some great insights from me when it comes to the modern Fender Stratocaster electric guitars. If you ask me, the all new Fender American Ultra Stratocasters have since become a massive upgrade to all of the other USA deluxe models that also used to be the highest tiers as well. For example, the Fender American Ultra models are the successors to all of the previous models such as USA Plus, American Deluxe and American Elite. I mean, it is something huge than ever before. For some guitar players out there who have owned a lot of previous Fender Stratocaster deluxe models such as the ones that I listed above that have always wanted to try the all new Fender American Ultra model, they sometimes ask themselves questions like "Is it worth the upgrade?" and so forth. Everyone is looking forward to trying something new which sounds great to me. Otherwise, those Fender American Ultra models are more expensive than any other Fender American models in general. Otherwise, great video and kudos to you. Keep it up.
I have a Ultra Tele, Strat, and Precision Bass. I love the Ultras. They have become my go-to guitars. I used to love my American Professional Strat but the Ultras are just that good. The Ultra Strat neck is fast and incredibly comfortable. But the best Fender neck and chug ability can be found on the Ultra Tele. It is the ultimate metal and country guitar. It does everything. If I can only own one guitar, it would have to be the Ultra Tele even though I've always been a Strat guy.
You got a smoking deal my man!
I recently purchased a Pro ll in vintage sunburst with a maple fretboard, but when I saw the deals Fender and GC are running for the 4th, I took the plunge and ordered a cobra blue American Ultra with a humbucker in the bridge and rosewood board. 30% off from Fender, 10% off from GC, and 10% in rewards! That's basically $600 off the regular price! I'm kinda excited!
How so?
huh????
I just got the Fender Tele Ultra Limited Umba Burst, love it now I want the Strat. 7:28
I just purchased a used (2022) Texas Tea Stratocaster a couple of days ago and saved over $500. I used to own an American Standard Sienna Sunburst Stratocaster but had to part with it a few years ago. Hated to let it go. Now that I can “replace it” I thought to upgrade it with the Ultra. Good reviews, upgrades over the Standard and the color helped make the decision for this 70s/80s rock weekend warrior.
amazing that CME has a deal on them new for $1,649. Have to look deep in their site but they are there. I got one. Also have the tele at that price.
I'll be buying an Ultra HSS with rosewood neck next month! Thanks for the reassurance!
You’re so welcome!
I was going to the same but ended up buying a Suhr. Thrilled with my decision.
The heel cut out is awesome
I'm also a happy owner of the Ultra (plasma red RW) and I've been toying with the idea of potentially swapping it with something more vintage like AVRI II or Vintera II or maybe even Am Pro II. But the Ultra really feels so luxurious and playable in comparison. Still... I really, really like the looks of vintage style tuning machines so I've recently replaced these locking tuners with Fender ClassicGear ones. I hope you don't find it too shocking 😃
Not at all! I think the Am Pro II is great, but since the prices are so close on the used market, I’m almost always going to get an Ultra if I can find them!
The specs on the Ultra might be really good, but personally I found the Noiseless pickups lacking mojo as compared to the Professional. That's why I chose the Professional over the Ultra.
Love the Ultra. Everything except the pickups. May get some vintage ones.
this is by far my most favorite guitar that I have ever owned. I'm hoping to get a loaded HSS pickguard to swap out for the SSS one I have. But I am definitely NEVER going to part from it.
Just got the Ultra Luxe, 2 color burst with rosewood fretboard. I may add a vintage to my collection but I will never part with this.
is it possible to achieve these tones?
Is pro 2 worse bcs its cheaper?
Actually the Ultra Luxe is the top tier. Worth the extra $$ for the stainless frets.
I literally said that 50 seconds in
Or you can change your ultra's frets with stainless ones without paying much more to Luxe and it's sucking headstock paint 😭😭😭
@@erenozuaydn1240 A quality fret replacement costs at least $500 so the money issue is not an issue. As far as the headstock paint, everyone has their likes and dislikes. What sucks to you may be what someone else really likes. No need to get uptight and angry about it.
@@stevecookphotography No worries there is no anger my friend please. You're right -personally- and the economical conditions can change from country to country. Apologies for misunderstandment 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@erenozuaydn1240 👍🙏
Yes, it is, and that's why I bought one. Technically the Ultra Luxe is, and I still think the H.M. Strats was the best modern and advanced model Fender has ever made.
Interesting take. But you seem like a fusion guy anyway!
I had an original run Ultra Butterscotch Tele when they were still making them from Ash. It was a gret guitar but I could not get along with the compound radius and the thin neck. I think the Am Pro 2 is better. Fatter neck and not compound. Neither line has good pickups, the VMods are ass and the Noiseless 4 are lacking in bite.
I want an Ultra Luxe one day.
Buy the Ultra and save some money!
The S1 switch is garbage. The plastic catch, which keeps it down or up, is cheap as a 50 year old street worker.
Do better Fender!
I like Texas Tea too. Thanks for the review!
That’s fair! To be honest, I very rarely use the S1
Yeah but...has Fender finally designed a usable trem that you can use and the guitar stay in tune...G&L has no locking tuners, no fine tuners,I don't know how they do it but it stays in tune 😊
Locking tuners don't affect stability, they just make to easier to restring.
A nut lock, though, that'll hold it down nice and stable.
Good luck reselling the G&L!
Locking tuners make it easier to restring. Doesn’t necessarily affect tuning stability.
6 minutes talking, 10 seconds of playing through a distortion pedal. Pointless
@@whatintheworld6501 be nice you don’t even play
Nope. Eric Johnson early made models
I LOVE the EJ Thinline!
Go back even further I have 2010. Finest Strat I’ve ever own. Buddy of mine did something I didn’t ask. I was furious at the time! He piloted it yup. Now 15 yrs later , just gets better👍🏿
Agreed. Best modern Strat. Hands down.
@@teknomanning What does having a guitar piloted do? Never heard the expression before. Eric Johnson is amazing.

Less talking more playing please
Fender ultra suck. They come with flat frets
Boooo
