    Greetings from the BIG SKY. Good looking dirt. Without hassling the beavers, I think you'll be back to that spot.

    I love when u shovel the mud from below the water. It makes the flow of the water go smoothly.

    "Beavers are drowning the fields!" If there was a picture of a tractor in a muddy area, you could say "Beavers are sinking tractors". An estimate of the amount of water a dam is holding back, noted in gallons, can impress. Cubic metres/yards just don't sound as impressive because of the numbers, i.e., does 100, 000 not sound way more than 378?
    Those fields look like they could "swallow" a tractor! You are doing a great service to your community.

    What awesome video footage showing the width of the damp. What problem there is beyond the front with the sticks. Thank you. Great work as usual. :)

    英語が出来ないので上手く伝わるかわかりませんが、ビーバーダムの撤去お疲れ様です。日本と違って自然が多いので共存が難しいですね。

    Really liked the camera angle which showed the rake digging out a section and then the current continuing to sweep away mud and debris. Quite interesting Thanks for the video

    maybe make an ad "manual beaver dam removal services" and price it way lower than hiring an excavator and it will bring you some profit for your hobby/eqipment.
    I don't see why it wouldn't work, glhf

    Beaver dams cause the water table to rise in the neighbouring fields. The bigger the pond behind the dam, the more weight pressure there is on the aquifers which means the water seeps in much quicker and this affects the local water table. That's why the field isn't flooded, it's ground water which has surfaced in patches.

    How many dams have you Broken down for your Utube Videos , lots of mud in this dam,What ever happened to those dams in the forest you put drain pipes in ?

    • @rawdez_
      @rawdez_ 9 месяцев назад +1

      most likely beavers just plugged those pipes, there's no beaver structure to prevent them. post10 says beavers see/sense water moving = they plug it. need like a 3m diameter anti-beaver structure around that pipe so water movement isn't noticeable.

    Do the farmers own the drainage canals, or are they run by the government?
