Thank you for the tip on how to do the bolt portion, i was having problems with it and never got around to finishing it. But now, with this video as a reference, i can now finish my obrez pistol! Thank you again for making such wonderful guns!
Really cool gun, the varnish is beautiful. Also, stretching one side of the rubber band more than the other is pretty smart actually, I guess it's like the equivalent of a rifled barrel.
Hi Parabellum, I'm a big fan of your work. Your rubber band guns are awesome! I was wanting to make some of my own designs, but wasn't sure were to start. I think it would be really interesting and helpful if you made a video explaining your process of designing a rubber band gun, from start to finish (eg what softwares you use to draw out the templates etc). Thank you for reading, keep up with the amazing work man!
I've made lots of parabellum's designs and created lots of my own, so I can say from experience that the design process really varies based upon what type of gun you're making. What type do you have in mind?
@@nybergsgarage Well to be honest I'm not exactly sure at the moment, I intend upon making as many different types as I can. How does the design process differ depending on the type of RBG?
@@georgedonne5467 well, it could be as simple as drawing what you want to make on paper, and using it as a template for wood, or complicated as using 3D modeling software on a computer. But I'd say, if your just starting off, you should try building guns that work on a simple rotor and releaser mechanism.
@@nybergsgarage Ok, thanks for the help! If I were to get into more complex designs, would Inkscape and Fusion 360 be good options for making templates?
@@georgedonne5467 hmm. hard to say, because I've never used those programs. I guess I really haven't ever done any rel complicated designs, so so far everything I've made has been able to just have templates drawn up on graph paper. I suppose you'll have to just see what works best. although, personally I think it'd be simpler to make all the templates on paper, as you can still do some pretty complicated stuff that way.
You're asking one guy who does this as a side hobby to re-sell what is already available in massive warehouse businesses. It's impractical for too many reasons.
Sure I just can just go to any warhouse business and buy wood and stuff but the things that I tend to not have like you guy is the machinery stuffs have you use to you know, cut and sawing wood.
I can't please everyone. Sure, I could go to 3D printing, CNC machining or cardboard for people with limited resources. That's now what I want to do though. What's the point of a hobby you don't enjoy?
Ok I need to emphasise this, the filter (the thing at the end of your gas mask) contains asbestos. Unless if that is a Soviet filter that is. Some people say the asbestos that’s in their is actually kind of rare but I wouldn’t take my chances. You should buy a Israeli or NATO one. They come 10 or so USD

I just bought my first ever rubber band gun and I’m excited

Try twisting it over 1 before hooking onto the back, works just as well but can get caught.
First video Iv seen without dislikes.
Thanks will be using this to cast a receiver for a bolt action rifle 👍👍👍👍

Thank you bro I was finding it for along period time
Nice job, build and tutorial!
Very cool. You are doing a great work. Good luck with the channel!
This should be a sport
really good bro! consider to paint it trigger and bolt to make it more realistic
Can you please do a tutorial on the blowback Fairfax mars!
Nice Craftsmanship.
You should have a site where you directly sell the materials, which is gonna be easier for us to reach out those materials.

@@parabellum_arms alright I understand that.
Hey I know your like myself Australian and think you should do a styer.
Respect and kind regards.
This is cool
Wow cool
It looks really amazing. Nice that you share this with us. Just one question, what kind of finish or varnish do you use ?
Greetings from Germany :)
Oil based polyurethane
👏👏👏👏👏😍 muito bom 👏👏👏👏
Amazing and cool. Another project to work on.
What is the length of the steel pins used?
Out of curiosity, how many sets of these plans have you sold? (I see this video has tons of views, but what percentage buy the plans?)
I want to buy that kar98k pls
Can it be sold pre‐made?
Hey I bought the plans recently and I dont see anything showing the length of the barrel or the length of the dowel that the bolt handle goes into.
Both are up to you but I would recommend 80mm for the bolt handle dowel and 335mm for the barrel.
@@parabellum_arms thank you!
can we buy that??
❤>>>>>>>>
I like this 😍, do u sell this?
plans no more available :(

I know im late but can i make this with a normal saw? (Im 12 and dont have those tools but i have alot of wood)
If you mean a coping saw and/or hand saw, yes. I made plenty of RBGs before I got a scrollsaw.
Oh thanks
I dont know if i can make curves with a hand saw tho
@@PinkStratovolcano I'd suggest buying a coping saw. Quite cheap, blades last a long time and you will get plenty of use out of it.
@@parabellum_arms ok thanks

I've covered this many times in other comments. To cut a long story short, I am not breathing through the filter.
Parabellum Arms then how are you breathing
