- I was in two minds as to whether to post this. However, the original aim of this account was to document my hairloss journey. To discuss the impact of hair loss and hopefully help others.
I thought I had come to terms with my hair loss. I think I have in many ways. Shaving my head felt like a relief. Plus I no longer feel self conscious in public wearing wigs.
My brain just doesn't join the dots at first sight when I see my reflection. Initially it thinks the reflection is someone else. I don't think my subconscious has caught up yet.
Most of my favourite wigs are long and luscious. I love wearing them. Probably because my bio hair was never glamorous. So I'm going to persevere.
Screw you brain!!! Hurry up and get with the program!!! 🤣
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, does this ever change? I'm always here if anyone is struggling and needs to talk.
I'm so thankful to the hairloss community. Wig sisters, you have helped me more than you will ever know. 💜
Plus the amazing opportunity from @hairwareuk to explore different styles and colours. Something that was impossible with my damaged bio hair. You've changed a difficult situation into something really exciting.
Sending love to you all,
Megs

I wear similar colors and styles because I struggle with not feeling like my self in different shades. I have been wearing wigs almost full time for more than 2 years. My bio hair is dark brown and that is what I stick to with wigs. I went blond one summer and it just attracted more attention than I needed and it did not feel like me. With that said, I do want to go lighter than my current shade and many folks know I wear wigs so I’m not sure what stops me sometimes other than being low key. It is a journey and you will go through stages, but I am so happy you are trying different styles. Personally, I think you will be more comfortable changing things up in the future. You are lovely and thank you for your videos.
Thank you so much. 💜 I'm starting to get used to all of my different styles and colours. I love my new Dalgona 23" in Red Penny by Belle Tress. Haha yeah I agree isn't it strange how people react differently to the blonde hair!!! 🤣
