Yes, it’s a solid sewing and embroidery machine at a fraction of the price of an embroidery only machine. I sold it to a friend only because I already have few sewing machines so I only need embroidery only machine.
I dont have any experience in making embroidery, can I start with this machine (to do embroidery on tshirt with multiple colors) without any experience just by watching to youtube videos?
@@lolszie4751 Based on my experience, this machine is easy to use. I didn’t have experience with embroidery machines when I embroidered the built in designs and if you read the user manual thoroughly, you will learn a lot on how to use this machine. And yes you can embroider on t-shirts using this machine.
Is all the banging noise normal for this kind of machine? Or is this model particularly noisy? Does it mean something is wrong or poor quality? I know you can spend thousands more for an embroidery machine so maybe this is what you get at this price range? Or maybe the expensive ones are noisy too because its not possible to make them quieter?
Good morning! I have to watch this video again to check if the noise is from the machine or from other sources. I actually didn’t hear a banging noise during filming so it could be the sound when I added captions at editing. I was new to RUclips then and didn’t realise that the font I used made that annoying sound every time captions appear. I don’t use that font anymore. I have another embroidery machine, the Janome MC400 and they have the same level of noise. I’m not an expert on embroidery though so it could also be the stabilisers used and the needle and also the fabric. I have a very quite sewing machine, a Typical brand industrial sewing machine (I could barely hear it) so I know that my other sewing machines have different noise levels. Some of my other industrial machines noise are even coming from just turning them on. But I will check the video and get back to you.
Hi Satsumamoon, I’m checking the video right now and I noticed that it is louder when sewing denser satin stitches, but the quality of stitches is still very good, and I think this is a very good machine for its price especially if you also need a sewing machine. I bought this machine on impulse and not considered that I already owned several sewing machines and only need a dedicated embroidery only machine. I then bought a Janome MC400 embroidery only machine. I still haven’t made a ‘embroidering’ video on the mc400 yet, but I hope to make one soon. I did use it a few times but didn’t film it, I will upload the samples from using it. Hopefully I answered your questions.
The electric power cord? When you buy this machine in your country the power cord will be appropriate for your country, if not you can always buy an adaptor. Le cordon d'alimentation électrique ? Lorsque vous achetez cette machine dans votre pays, le cordon d'alimentation sera adapté à votre pays, sinon vous pouvez toujours acheter un adaptateur.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I’m quite shy so I’m not comfortable talking in my videos, so I just add captions instead. But I appreciate your feedback.
@@mysewcalledlife6531 It is a good combo machine that sews well and embroiders well. But I decided to buy a embroidery only machine in the end, as I already have a few sewing machines and I needed a bigger hoop home embroidery machine so I can embroider a bigger area in one hooping. So it depends on what projects you will use it for. It'll be perfect for kids' t-shirt but can also embroider bigger projects, just need to rehoop. Having a bigger hoop embroidery machine saves me a bit of time. The software that comes with the Chicago 7 is a big bonus. Embroidery softwares are quite expensive.
@@mysewcalledlife6531 Yes, it's a good sewing and embroidery machine. And the embroidery software that comes with it is a huge bonus and embroidery softwares are quite pricey. It's also great to bring to classes as you have both sewing and embroidery in one machine :)
I'm glad you showed the built-in embroidery designs at the end! Thank you
Thank you, it’s a very good machine.
I really appreciate the demo, and being able to hear and see it in real time to get a feel for it.
Great video - thank you very much! Do I need to use a special needle for embroidery on this machine? If so, which needle?
It uses regular needles, the 130/705 needle system.
Merci de nous avoir montré le catalogue avec tous les dessins c'est super intéressant
Hi Suzanne, you're welcome, I am happy when my video is helpful.
Salut Suzanne, de rien, je suis heureuse quand ma vidéo est utile.
Thank you for the tutorial.
May I know what kind of thread have you used?
I think I used the brother brand embroidery thread in that tutorial.
This is a great machine. I have the newer version - the Eversewn Hero.
Yes it is. Eversewn Hero looks nice.
Hi ! Would you still recommend this machine?
Yes, it’s a solid sewing and embroidery machine at a fraction of the price of an embroidery only machine. I sold it to a friend only because I already have few sewing machines so I only need embroidery only machine.
Does the machine know where to begin or do you have to position it for each design colour etc. ?
It knows where to begin and I didn’t have to position it for each colour change.
I don’t know why my name is suddenly Beautiful79888, but thank you for your reply!!
@@JenSutton2023 you’re welcome, I’m happy to help.
I confirm I want it😍😍😍
Haha it’s a good machine ☺️

Oi Patricia, obrigado, é uma boa máquina.
Hi Patricia, thank you, it is a good machine.

I have another tutorial on this machine, about how to resize and how to add letterings I hope that will help you.

Hi Josefa, Buenas dias from Australia :) I’m so sorry, I only know a few phrases in Spanish. But thank you for watching my video :)
It would be nice if you explained what you are doing instead of complete silence.
