Holy smokes…totally forgot about Paul. Great buck! I love the fact Mark said he’d rather take a doe than a smaller buck…at least that’s what I think he said. The young does are getting hot out on the property in Ohio…had a bruiser tied down with a small doe 2 days ago and a smaller 8 spot checking some areas yesterday.
i really enjoy seeing yalls videos. im down in my back tjis year with surgery.but i feel like im in. the stand with yall keep up the great work your friend big allem in N.C.🤓

You're not the only one that's going to miss you finding those sheds from Paul. Just have to find another replacement buck. Shouldn't be too hard from the looks of the new young bucks around there. Paul will be missed he was a game camera star!

At that age they get an ass like a Mack Truck. The bucks he sired they will leave the immediate area to help keep the gene pool clean. The does however remain and also carry genes from fathers and grandfathers for generations. Your efforts will help the area greatly. Getting most any buck to 51/2 in WNY you have a trophy. Food, water, cover, low pressure, and selective harvest all key to future success.

Every breeder doe you shot early season you subtract from rut action later
Wrong. In a healthy herd like cliff has you increase the rut activity by concentrating the attention the remaining does get. If you know where the does feed and bed you’ll see more bucks per doe competing over them.
