Getting 2 headshots with his "sheriff" and 3 normal kills with his ult in one round is the biggest highs I've had in a while from playing games. Just gotta learn to play around my tp better lmao, plus the 30 second timer to redeploy feels like an eternity
I started using the headhunter over vandal most of the time, I'm not at the game or anything but I honestly love using the headhunter as I can hit my shots most of the time. Helps the econ and just makes me better at using it over time.
Honestly, I can live with the teleport and weapon nerfs for Chamber. But they should really bring back his second trap since he’s supposed to be a dedicated sentinel. And also maybe slightly increase the damage of his ult since the fire rate has been slowed. I feel like that could at least make him balanced enough to be viable in most maps again.
I defo agree his trip needs a buff of some sort, but one thing to remember is Sentinels are good at controlling areas and preventing people from taking space for free. Part of Chamber's identity within that is he can hold sight lines with his unique weapons with the backup of his rendevous. Even given how nerfed he is, he is a very volatile agent, and we can't treat him as a direct competitor to other sentinels, as he is designed to function very differently within that space. Also buff the damage of his ult? it's a one shot kill o.0
Honestly, considering he became almost non-existent, he needs the following buffs (not all of them, just one or two of them) : - His TP needs to be two anchors, and keep the TP distance small like it is now (that way when TPing he will stay close and not on the other side of the map like back in the day, and abuse off-angles in a fair way) ; - His ult can stay like it is, or they could buff the fire rate just a little bit (Considering how Neon's ult throws precise gunplay outta the window, Chamber's ult must do something like that as well, it can't just be an Operator with 5 bullets); - His trademark either remove the distance restriction while nerfing the slow or the activation duration, or give him a second trademark (if I have to stay close to activate my utility, might as well pick KJ, since her utility give better value for that restriction) ;
@@metube6299 having two anchors is needed : when taking a high off-angle on defense, you can't place your anchor far to TP to safety, that's why two Anchors for me is a must, and by keeping a small TP distance that might not be OP.
For trademarks, either two trademarks or a longer range with only one For tp, either increase the radius or decrease recall cooldown when not used or two anchors atleast
Decent guide. I have 3 problems. 1. I don't know why you would ever buy a ghost on pistol as chamber. You still have a classic if you miss. It's the best gun any agent can get on pistol and should be taken advantage of. But yes. Watch your economy. 2. Pick up trip from flank and set it up on the rotate flank? Does your team take 30 seconds to start rotating? 3. Lurk. But make sure to set up trip for your teams flank? I can think of maybe 2 maps where this is even possible. The range on it is so limited now it's barely good for watching flank when you're with your team let alone lurking.
Head is dead now no body plays him anymore if been a chamber main but now i never pick him and playing for one month now and not even a single time i saw a chamber in my match
Chamber trick: when you are on attackers, on a lot of sites you can place your rendezvous behind a wall, just barely reaching site, so you can plant and instantly get away Edit: I meant reposition
He is best for snipers for sure. And headhunter is insane. The equip speed is perfect. I am used to scout deagle from faceit, but in valo it takes ages to pull out normal sheriff
Chamber is still pretty good even after the nerf which is why he's my favourite agent of all time, Chamber should get a tiny buff such as having two trips and as well as slightly increasing the arm time of his trip, chambers tp anchor should also get a increase of range like 30m, I also think for the teleport if riot decides to keep it where the teleport is disabled for the rest of the round, at least increase the hp to 100 or remove the feature where the teleport is disabled for the rest of the round but remains at 50 hp
Some tips I have for chamber are don’t be afraid to buy your teammate and just use your util instead and getting one kill and tp out isn’t always smart I’d play up until you feel you can’t hold that angle and then tp out and spend some time using his trip aggressively to get more use out of it it can be also used to slow down neon ults or just slow down the enemy to make it easier to get a one tap and just spend time in the range practicing your one taps on the normal practice and strafe bots
Hitting headhunter when I normally can’t even hit the fucking air with a sheriff makes me feel amazing. The tiny high moments are worth all the times I die
@@JumboJet123 generally he's going to be good on any maps with a lot of long sight lines (breeze, pearl, icebox, etc) but I've also found he's good on maps with "thin walls" not like wallbang walls. The empty spaces between the map. Think of creative ways to set up tp for quick rotates/complete repositions. I've been having a lot of fun on lotus with this idea.

I think he needs a mini rework though Like i got him today but i used to play a ton of cypher and i feel like his kit lacks a lot relative to it's counterparts, i don't think he needs a huge buff though just a few tunings in area's just for balancing i think chamber should have direct LOS to pick up his rendezvous and trademark but the cooldown for picking the items up is reduced from 30s to 15s trademark concusses and marks enemies rather than slows them trademark price increases by 50 by using rmb inside of your rendezvous you switch places with your anchor rather than just teleporting to it rn his revolver feels horrible ngl it's just a more expensive sheriff with a scope this needs a few changes imo shots reduced from 8 to 6 deals 65 damage rather than 55 damage, this way it can distinguish itself from the sheriff since it can two shot enemies with light armor fire rate slightly reduced spawns with 1 bullet (one in the chamber) ammo price reduced by (now 100 instead of 150) tbh this is it like I understand that he's supposed to be an aggressive sentinel but rn he just feels like a very bad duelist with a limited range or a sentinel who can't fully do their job correctly

I think personally chamber is incredibly selfish, originally his trip could at least guard areas for his team while he was doing something but now it is range restricted so it only guard CHAMBER'S flank. And the rest of his utility is just guns and an escape so he's like an even more solo-oriented sentinel reyna. Reyna can at least flash for her team but Chamber man, he's by himself bro.
I think his nerf was perfect. Teleport is easier to use for me. I play just marshal or op, so I need quick pistol. I can 2 tap marshal+headhunter in second. I can take extremely aggressive off angles and just go back and teleport. Idk how good it is for rifles, but for sniper it has to be by far best agent. I would honestly pick him just for that headhunter.
It doesn't have damage falloff, and can scope in. So really you can think of it it's a guardian-sheriff hybrid. Plus something to consider is that sheriff has 0.25 inaccuracy, and the headhunter is perfectly accurate when zoomed in. Those two factors make the sheriff suffer at range, whereas the headhunter doesn't. At mid to long ranges, you can seriously challenge rifles, and if you're very good even OPerators.

imo Chamber's headhunter is completely useless, and it was even pre-nerf. I never used it and still don't. In pistol rounds, I just buy his trademark and use the Ghost. That's it. They should replace his headhunter with another kind of trap.

putting his teleport right next to you or even in the same area is so stupid. Everyone does it. Everyone uses it to only escape. But it is so stupid. e.G. you could try to hide a teleport in the opposite field of view of your camera. Then you can pre aim from a different side. So basically what you need to do is, you wait for the trigger, try to eliminate the first one, teleport to a different angle and attack from the opposite side. Its Range suck, that's why I really dont like it. But you can create some nices combos with him. In my opinion it is still not worth the effort. Also teleporting after killinge someone might look "cool" but is most of the time very unnecessary.
I personally see the headhunter as a mini guardian. I use it when the enemy has been playing close range, so I can buy for close and still have the long range option
well i cant agree with you in my opinion classic is way more better then a ghost so 4 bullet of shirffe that can kill 2 people and mabye 3 or 4 and classic or ghost that need to shit 2 shots against enemy like sage or raze that buying small shiled on the first round

1 small thing that can "revive" chamber is when u have not use his TP yet , u can still pick it up with no cool down
or at least decrease the cool down to 20, 15 seconds, or something like that.

So basically what you need to do is, you wait for the trigger, try to eliminate the first one, teleport to a different angle and attack from the opposite side. Its Range suck, that's why I really dont like it. But you can create some nices combos with him.
In my opinion it is still not worth the effort. Also teleporting after killinge someone might look "cool" but is most of the time very unnecessary.

well i cant agree with you in my opinion classic is way more better then a ghost so 4 bullet of shirffe that can kill 2 people and mabye 3 or 4 and classic or ghost that need to shit 2 shots against enemy like sage or raze that buying small shiled on the first round
