    This!!! Now this is a great tutorial for everyone on how to put together a bottom end. Not only did you mention the torque specs & gaps on video but you also included the diagram so anyone can pause it if they were following along with you.
    Love it! Great job Dana 🤟🏽

    Great video my dude. I love watching engine build videos and yours was no exception. I will say one thing though. I feel like when you were measuring the plastigauge you may have gotten it backwards. If the plastigauge strip on the journal is a little LARGER (that being important) than the measuring lines on the paper, it actually means your clearance is a little less. The less clearance, the more the wax spreads out if that makes any sense. Therefore if the wax is a little larger than the .0015 line on the paper, it's actually a .0014 measurement, not a .0016 like you were saying. I know it's kind of splitting hairs but it actually makes your clearances even better in spec. Just thought I would put that out there for others in case they have the same scenario.

  • @CraaaigV302
    @CraaaigV302 2 года назад

    Plugging the oil squirters on a stock cast piston and rod ? They have them for a reason on a k series blocking them off is not gonna make a noticeable difference if your doing a type s oil pump conversion anyway

    • @YoungStatic
      @YoungStatic  2 года назад +1

      Before k series. ls and b20s never had squirters and they have been used and abused without issues for years without issues. Again it’s preference as I mentioned in the video. I’m not doing endurance racing or all year racing to the point of absolutely needing it.
