The Brave Wilderness hosts and crew are professionally trained but receive assistance from animal experts and safety personnel when in potentially life-threatening situations. Permissions were obtained by the crew to film in all locations associated with this series. No animals were injured, killed, or removed from their natural habitat in the filming of this program and instances where animals are brought to the scene are clearly acknowledged in the video. Professional advice should always be sought before entering any dangerous environment, or before encountering any species of animal. Every precaution is taken to handle animals with care and in the least stressful way possible; expert opinions are often solicited when handling animals that may potentially inflict harm to any cast and crew.

12:42 That's actually a Yellow Bullhead Coyote! They're very often confused with juvenile Flatheads. You can tell them apart easily by looking at the shape of the head. The Bullhead has a round, bulbous head while the Flathead's head has its namesake flat shape. The neat thing about the Bullhead family is that their spines actually contain a mild venom - other common catfish species such as the Blue, Channel, and even Flathead catfish are often claimed to be venomous as well but of those only the Bullhead is!

What you are doing is so cool, and so inspiring, Coyote ! You are bringing to people's homes a love for the outdoors and the wild and at the same time encouraging respect for species other than our own, who we seem to forget, also live on this planet amongst us, and have as much claim to it as we do. I would love to follow in your footsteps someday. Love and peace to you brother. Stay safe !

I agree. The white bottom whiskers are an ID mark that sets it apart from the Black and Brown bullhead species. There are other less common species of bullhead but I would say that this is a yellow.

That is a yellow bullhead catfish actually. Easy mix up. Adult as well. I keep a tank of brown bullheads. The flatheads tend to have more variation of color on them. Almost like came, heads not as flat either.
