This Winter collection, Zuhair Murad ascends heavenwards, voyaging to the stars... all the stars -those twinkling jewels studding the firmament, but also the stars of the silver screen, those mythical goddesses of the 1970s, divas of hyper-glam chic. Dazzlingly present on their cosmic pedestals, these divine creatures have inspired an astral theme. Celestial Bodies: A cluster of dresses, long and mini, slinky sheaths and wispy creations, heavenly raiment for sensuous divas, bringing stellar décolletés and diaphanous coverings slashed high as befits the patrician, ethereal draping, nipped waists, and bouffant skirts: Sheer charisma.
The stars also trek in form-hugging bodysuits and jumpsuits, further magnified by a torrent of coats, capes, and stoles, as exquisitely sensuous as they are indispensable to their personas. Lunar Sunlights: In the seventh heaven, the décors orbit the party, eye-catching capturing the stellar glow of eternal beauty.
A shower of comets, of asteroid stardust, graphic star maps of the zodiac, constellations of embroidery, spangles, and crystals enfold magical nights in a parallel universe of dream and mystery.
Stellar Shades of light, dark and twilight: the galaxy of colors - and the emotions they elicit - magnifies silk tulle, georgette, crêpe de chine, organza, and velvet, magnifies Olympian furs, all in lustrous purples, deep-space blacks, nebulous whites, glittering garnet, enigmatic blues, moonshine silver, and the afterglow of boreal splendor.
Fatale attraction: Ethereal refinement is everywhere, effortlessly magnifying the irresistibly feminine, a starry portal into a wholly new dimension of couture at its most authentic.

I think Murad pulled all the stars from the galaxy and tamed them into garments. Exquisite work, especially the finale wedding dress near the end, that took my breath away!
yea it looked great and all.. but it also looked heavy and complicated. The poor model could barely walk in it. too much dress for me

Vy Nguyen I know, it's ridiculous! When the model in the red jumpsuit and red fur jacket came out, she was amazing, and the one towards the end in the pale blue dress who swung her skirt. They were the only stand-outs & who looked like they actually made an effort.

I hardly critique BUT: In such beautiful garments one would assume the models would feel confident and that confidence would show in their walks. Not the case. A good portion of these ladies are out here walking like they've been selected for the 89th Hunger Games.
Could be because a lot of models don't like to show off their womanly parts :breasts and ass

Don't you think they are confident enough to be able to 'run' in high heels on that slippery catwalk. Also yes, models walk as fast or as slow as the designer and arrangers ask them too.
I was watching and trying to think of why these models seemed familiar but u nailed it. felt like I did see them in the hunger games
I would wear every dress of those, they are so outstanding beautifull you just have to look at them
I love the stars, the galaxy, the universe....so to me this is just like a beautiful dream I'm seeing with open eyes.

The thing I just love about Zuhair's creations is that even though it's haute couture or concept designing, he never loses sight of the outfit being connected to a human being and the female form. Some designers are so focused on the "concept" part of the design the outfit becomes stand alone art that is devoid of feeling. Zuhair's gift, his magic if you will, is that he never loses that connection, and as runway observers, we can see and feel that connection which only makes his designs crackle with vivaciousness. Zuhair has a god-given gift, and we are loving it!! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

I like the fact that most Lebanese designers are the Kings when it comes to haute couture,they are good at creating unusual complicated cuts rich fabrics but at the same time keep it elegant and simple .This collection is influenced by the work of Elle Saab ,I would rather see the old Murad .

hands down the most breathtaking couture collection I've ever seen and the whole show was fabulous, from the lighting, backdrop and music!! Murad truly made the galaxy come to life in these dresses I'm in love and I rarely ever gush about fashion like this

One of the best moda project in the word. Paris the most important capital of moda. Impressionism color of night black, stars, violet, and red vine. Models look like nimfas from mythology. Composition night sky and Earth - colors of flower. Zuhair Murad so professional. Merci.

I thought the gowns were absolutely stunning! I also enjoyed the diversity of the models, as there was a couple that actually appeared to have some curves.

I like how the collection look like it was taken directly from the night sky. I wish Zuhair Murad hadn't included the star shaped belts per they cheapened some of the looks.

Amazing show! As ever! What a style, what a fairytale in every dress! You just create what I've always dreamt for since I'm a little girl. Just a big WOAW full of admiration and respect for your work.

An amazing trip straight to heaven. I find Zuhair Murad collection a completely plenty of bright details, piece of fine art, done with the best choice of colours and the most elegant shapes. Thank you Mr. Murad for this pleasure to our eyes.

The dresses are all individually beautiful. I like starry theme as well. The sparkles make me think of snow and Christmas. But then sparkles on every dress is a bit too much for me.

Some of these models proves that just because you’re skinny, it doesn’t make you a model. I don’t see confidence in their walk. It’s all so artificial. The dresses are the only things that made this show look presentable.
