Great stuff. My daughter turned me onto Chappell and, although I'm not a fan of modern pop, I got hooked. I consider her this generation's Alice Cooper because of the theatrics, humor and music that hits so many styles.

Alice Cooper was my first concert at 13 (seen him as many times since then) and my most recent concert was Chappell Roan. I’m 30 now, but have a big wide taste of music, glad you’re enjoying Chappell!

Is that a full electric drum kit, or is it a mix of real and electric? I just got a new electric drum kit for my birthday (and have zero experience with drums), and I'm trying to get my brothers to start recording music with me - they're both great singers, but none of us have much experience with instruments. Just wondering what you're working with, because everything sounds good.
And if you don't mind answering, how do you plug everything into the computer? I still don't really understand how amps/preamps/mixers work - but feel free to ignore that question if the answer's too complicated. I've been trying to figure it out but haven't seen a very straightforward explanation yet. I'm trying to see if my brothers and I can separately record all the instruments/vocals and then just mix everything together digitally. It seems like that's how you do it.
Look up "using electric drums as MIDI controller" and find a tutorial on what you might need and how to set it up in your DAW. Alex also has a full video on drums from about four years ago called "how exactly I get my drum sounds" where he walks through it!
