The Sea of Opal is stunning it reminds me of that famous photograph by the Hubble Telescope of the Pillars of Creation. I find that Opal just mesmerising and the fact that it’s still embedded in other materials just adds to the effect.
First lol! Hi Andrew!! They aren't my favorites stones, always cracked and broke on me similar to jade, Ah well. The last one is stunning! Maybe I'll try again soon. Hope all is well with you my dear friend. Sending you love & blessings always!!
They might be cracking because Of not having enough moisture Try not to wear it while bathing The soap dries out the stone Rub oil into the stone Keep it hydrated Especially if u go from a warm home To the cold weather outside U might hear a Crack when u go outside So be good to your opals
@@AndrewPidor But of course Andrew! Always!! I've been looking for a copy of the Jubilee Ruby ring, nothing. A real problem is that even in the same basic round setting these copy rings have nine prongs, not six, amazing what a difference that makes in the look of the ring. Hopefully I'll find one someday soon! Be well & have fun!!
Great video showcasing some stunning gemstones, I was unaware of a number of them but I knew of the 'Eternal Flame' from growing up in the area where it was found only a short 15min drive away. It was certainly a gift from the volcano that is now known as Mount Warning (or at least the volcano plug is).
When I took gemology an opal dealer came to our class. He had with him at least 2 million dollars of opals. The most beautiful opals I’ve ever seen. Should have robbed him when he left! Just kidding! The black opals he had were incredible!
@@mrm7098according to the museum that has it on display, it's actually only 7cm long. Makes you wonder if anybody fact checks ANYTHING anymore, before they say it.
Only my opinion of course, but for me, they have to be shaped and polished. Beautiful as they may be, lumps of rock don’t do it for me. The finished ones however…..fabulous.
Sorry but you're kind of screwing this video up the second opal had no killer at all that we could see and the I believe the one that look like a finger is not 11 in

Hello hello my dear beautiful 🤩 friend, all is well, thank you so much for dropping by to my humble channel. 😅
They might be cracking because
Of not having enough moisture
Try not to wear it while bathing
The soap dries out the stone
Rub oil into the stone
Keep it hydrated

To the cold weather outside
U might hear a Crack when u go outside

Wow, the Lord created those. All creation speaks of Him ❤ gorgeous

Nope. The earth did with immense heat, pressure, silica, & carbon 🤷🏻♀️

If the Virgin Rainbow fits in someone’s palm it is not 11 inches long. Maybe 11 centimeters, but not inches.

This narrator said that the Virgin Rainbow was 11 inches long …. And that is completely wrong. Maybe 4 or 5 inches at most.
Maybe 11 cm?
4.7 inch
Maybe he has unusually huge hands
@@mrm7098according to the museum that has it on display, it's actually only 7cm long. Makes you wonder if anybody fact checks ANYTHING anymore, before they say it.
Black opal from Banten Indonesia is still the most beautiful
Wow
Lol the Queens opal, the earrings would be 1.5 mil per the set 8-10 mil if not significantly higher.
not 11 inch but 11 centimeters (4 inch)
Only my opinion of course, but for me, they have to be shaped and polished. Beautiful as they may be, lumps of rock don’t do it for me. The finished ones however…..fabulous.
11 inch opal ?
11 centimetres, I expect. Lost in translation?
Ji ode ees? Does he mean geodes?
The Virgin Rainbow isn't eleven inches. More like eleven centimetres.
Sorry but you're kind of screwing this video up the second opal had no killer at all that we could see and the I believe the one that look like a finger is not 11 in

It’s really cheap on ebay.
Sorry to tell you, the virgin rainbow is not 11 inches. Your AI should get a job as a prooferer. It could help out spel chek.
A lot of inaccurate information in this video
Мільярди кольорів, на колісницях.

Мільярди сердечка, листки троянд.
AI Voice overs really are shit and take away from the video

Unfortunately opals are prone to crack and are considered bad luck by some.
I agree with you on this, but nonetheless they are magnificent 😉

TRUE...?
FACK....%
You need to soak opals in water every now and then otherwise they will dry out, lose colour and crack.
Hungarian opals maybe mate, Aussie opals definitely not.
DO NOT DO THIS. You will likely ruin your opal.
@@youngmantis369 thank you for your concern. I will advise the opal dealer in Hahndorf SA that he is talking out his arse, and that his experience in mining, cutting /polishing and selling opals counts for nowt.
Ugly opals with high prices. Just big and strange colours
