Also featured is train MP99, which passed through between services, and train 102 departing Puhinui station on the opposing main (opposite platform from usual) towards Auckland.

Basically a joke train. A small portion of the NZTA budget could get the Hamilton --> Auckland service faster than driving and far more frequently. Needs to utilise induced demand. Also what the heck is with the hideously long PA? Whoever is in charge of this service needs a train travelling holiday in the UK
