HI @SalissouMayanaAbdoulAziz, I will put a video together on how to create a new local admin and will link it here. Thanks for checking out the video. Hope you found it useful.
Thanks for this wonderful video. I have joined my 2 devices (windows PC) to entra ID. I see them in entra admin centre but they don't appear in intune. I have a free azure and entra Licence. Could this be the problem?
Hi @SK116, Things will work even if you are having a trial version of the license. Is the user who is logging into the machine licensed for Intune? And is the machine purely Entra ID joined?
@@Cloudiffic So I checked my user licence status on intune. It says - No License assignment found And starting from Sept 1,2024 license assignment will be available on Microsoft 365 admin center.
@@SK116 You need to license the user who is logging into the machine. This can be done by going to the M365 admin center - find the user account, get the properties and assign the Intune license. Hope this helps.
@@SK116 As long as the machine is Entra ID joined and the user logging in has an Intune license, it should register the device. You can also manually enroll by going into the 'Work or School' option (same way you added the machine into Entra ID).
Learn how to setup Windows LAPS using Intune, by using the built-in administrator account.

@@Cloudiffic Okay. I'll have to check if the user is licensed for intune. The machine is purely entra ID joined. Thanks!

If I sign-in to the PC using Administrator account and the password it doesn't work.
