OMG! Thank you for checking out the Wish babies!!! They're so cute and talented and they'll be future superstars! They're aged 16-21, with 2 Korean and 4 Japanese members. They're basically NCT Tokyo, so they'll be promoting both in Japan and Korea, so all their songs so far have versions in both languages. One of their youngest members, Ryo, the first one to fall from the sky LOL, was actually scouted in an NCT 127 concert and is a total Doyoung stan. Cheekbones boy is their leader Sion, 21! And the last boy who got hit by the cupid arrow is NCT's new maknae Sakuya, 16!

Anyway NCT Wish is basically NCT Tokyo, with 4 japanese and 2 koreans. Their age range is 16-22, the oldest is Jisung age. They also released Nasa, Hands Up and 2 bsides, We go and Sail Away. They're performing all of those songs during their Showcase on Monday. I hope you get to watch/hear them sing it in jp ver too because it is more superior imo.
Make sure you watch both the Korean and Japanese versions of NCT-Wish's "Wish" MV, because even though it starts out looking like it's the same story in both MVs, if you watch them both you will see that the stories are slightly different and the two MVs are connected. NCT-Wish is NCT's Japanese sub-unit -- which is why this unit is made up of Korean and Japanese members and they promote in Japan -- and like everything SM does, their MVs have a storyline that goes along with the group concept, so you need to watch all versions of everything they do in order to catch the whole storyline. There's a reason why the Korean version MV just kind of ends abruptly, because that's not really the end of the story.
And like everything NCT does, the story in the MV is all themed around NCT's dream concept. Everything NCT does is designed to have something to do with dreams, dreaming or being in a dream state, etc.
This sub-unit was formed as part of SM's first ever survival idol competition show, which took place last year called LASTART, which was designed to find the members for NCT's final sub-unit among a current lineup of SM trainees, which would become a Japanese based unit. With NCT-Wish's debut, NCT is now officially a 26 member group. NCT-WISH are the youngest members of NCT, with members ranging in age from 16-21 years old. Riku, Yushi, Ryo and Sakuya are Japanese and Sion and Daeyoung are Korean.
We will watch the Japanese version, but we won't react to it, I'm afraid. Japanese videos always get blocked! ☹️
@@alongfortheridereacts That's fine, but just so you know, usually when its a Japanese MV that is released by the Korean company, such as WISH's Japanese "Wish" MV, it doesn't get blocked because it is under the copyright of the Korean company. The reason Japanese videos usually get blocked is when they are produced and released by a Japanese production company. Hence, why you have been able to react to a few of EXO's Japanese MVs and not have them get blocked, because they were MVs that were released by SM and not specifically under the copyright of EXO's Japanese producers.
It's more about the source of the release of the video than the language of the song as to if it would be blocked or not.
The members are the last line up from NCT survival show called NCT Universe: Lastart and they are the final members and line up added to NCT.
I hope you get to check out the Japanese version as well, as the storyline is different as compared to the Korean MV. They’ve also got a couple of pre-debut tracks, so I hope you’ll also check them out one day. Fun fact, NCT Wish members are actually the same age as NCT 127 members at debut.

BEST way to learn about NCT Wish is to watch the show NCT Lastart on how they basically created the group. These boys are super talented singers especially cuz they are from SM. I would pay to subscribe to your patreon if you have one!
Sakuya! The BABY baby... the maknae of the NCT WISH is also my bias from the group... he's super adorable (Born in 2007) JUST turned 17 in NOV. THE CUTEST BABY EVER! But seriously though... these boys are precious. The blonde one with the sharp cheekbones is Sion, the Leader of WISH I believe... looks like him, just trying to get used top the hair change... (May 11, 2002), about to be 22... only about 3 months younger that Jisung (was the NCT maknae) from NCT (NCT DREAM), my bias wrecker from DREAM. They are all such babies.
They are so cute. The MV is so fun. The song has some really cool interesting things happening in the track or it would be just straight ahead cutiepop but the music was so cool that it really had that NCT twist to make things interesting I feel like.
I recommend listening to sail away by NCT wish 😊
Thank you very much for reacting to our baby cupids NCT WISH, the boys are sweet and they are really adorable. They are the Japanese unit of NCT, composed of 2 Koreans and 4 Japanese, they were chosen in the program NCT Universe: LASTART, where 11 trainees competed to be part of the group. Only Sion (cheekbones) and Yushi (the 2nd blonde who fell from the sky) were officially chosen to debut automatically because they were part of the SMROOKIES program and were the trainees with the most years of experience but they still participated in the performances since they were the standard of the group and they had to see which trainees looked good with the two of them. Their age gap is from 16 to 21, with Sion being the oldest (2002) and Sakuya the youngest (2007). Ryo was also born in 2007 but Sakuya was born months after him but they are both babies. I really recommend watching LASTART either in private or in reactions but the truth is the show is very good and the performances are at a higher level.

Nct Wish was the first group I ever followed since pre-debut era. In fact they're the first group I've followed in a survival show. I don't follow survival shows at all but all contestants of NCT Universe: Lastart were so amazing that I ended up catch up with them. I think I started following them because the last lineups were going to perform on Exo's Electric Kiss.
Sion, Yushi, Anderson and Riku really caught my attention a lot. Although I'm sad that Anderson couldn't make it to final contest but I was even sadder that Jungmin couldn't debut with them despite winning the contest with other members due to his health reasons. I really love NCT Wish's debut and concept as it fits with with other NCT units concept like Dreamers, Angels, Travellers etc. The concept is so good about them rookie-still-in-training cupids 😂 by the way NCT Wish actually has pre-debut songs NCT New Team- Hands Up and Love the Way Things Go.
