Came 2 years later but this effect is so powerful, I showed it to my pops who did a lot of magic and went on penn and teller fool us, this fooled him so that met a lot to me
I'm so glad I found your channel, Jay. You were one of four folks that really got me interested in magic. I still have your '45' DVD, man! I hope you're well, sir.
One of my favourite slights is the Biddle Count. I also love the Classic Pass. As many others here have mentioned, the DL is so incredibly versatile. Not sure that you class it as a slight but forcing a card is still one of the simplest yet most important card magic skills.
Sankey magic is the only magician that gives these free videos, real slights with an in depth tutorial, and he gives a preview gj, Mr. Jay Sankey would you please release more tutorials thanks you
my favorite sleight is definitely the Hermann Pass as I can usually cover it really really well. The classic pass has a tendency to flash from time to time depending on what angle the audience is at. I especially like working my Hermann pass from a spread out position and cover it with squaring the deck.
My favorite sleight is the double lift because when elegantly done even magicians don't always now when someone has done it. I also like it because they audience wont really be expecting it, making the magic even more amazing.
I loved this...thanks for giving us a look inside deception...I really wish I could say I had a favorite sleight but I tended to shy away from learning very many sleights..I lack the confidence to pull them off...I recently purchased Modern Coin Magic in the hopes I can learn something...Thanks anyways for the opportunity to take part in todays contest...
The classic pass is probably my favorite to get away with. The touches you suggested in your video were excellent and definitely something I'm going to incorporate.
I can't remember what the slight was called but my favourite is the sleight you did in the video "any card, any number" or "acaan" where you take the top card pretending it is the number in the deck the spectator has chosen, because people are so trusting when you just misdirect them, and they jump to the conclusion themselves.
The pass. An insane effect on its own for sleight demonstrations, colour changes, ambitious card sequences etc. or also can be a completely invisible control setting up for a killer finish. Easy to learn, difficult to master, impossible not to love!
A very lovely deception. Thanks for sharing. My favorite sleight? Hard to choose. When it comes to coins a shuttle pass is very useful. I've been trying to get a flying shuttle pass to work without the coin jumping to the floor. Still working on it :)
You sir, are a genius. Sleight of hand is an amazingly simple but yet complex way of mesmerizing an audience. You have to practice it to get is smooth. Motions have to be flawless to make it seem like something comes out of nothing or the opposite. Watching your motions I was impressed. Thank you for this.
Thank God I can rewind that video..lol great sleights and misdirection. My favorite sleight is the 'double lift', in particular the version credited to Derek Dingle. It took a long time to learn but very clean looking. Cheers!
My favourite sleight of hand is classic pass because it's one of the first I've learnt and it's like it's invisible. I LOVE IT. I've only started learning coin magic and I think your awesome 🙂
I love the spread cull, its so innocent and can be used for loads of forces, a part of a routine or can even be used as a stand alone mentalism effect.
One of my favorites sleights is the coin across the fingers. It's hard to lern like other sleights,it doesn't involve cards and impress everyone. And congrats for more than 100.000 subscribers. You worth it. You're a great magic teacher and I love your channel.
Favorite slight? There are so many to choose from! I would have to say the Mercury card fold. Revealing a folded card appearing somewhere at the end of a routine is a fantastic feeling!
my favourite sleight is the ditching coin (or ring etc.) vanish. i use it a lot! and i love to practise it!!! I even was lucky enough to have greg wilson as a teacher for this one
I don't do a lot of card magic. I've learned a few challenging routines just to present myself as legitimate to the general public and some magicians. But my favorite sleight is the retention vanish. I had taught myself several types of palming a coin but I got a hold of a David Roth VHS tape in the 80's and learned his retention vanish. I like the fact that I can do it in front of myself and it still looks convincing! And it works with lots of items besides coins! Thanks for sharing this routine!
Absolutely beautiful tutorial Jay Sankey hoping to try it my favorite sleight is French drop which is the easiest illusion. Good job again all the way from Sri Lanka
Thank you so much Sankey for the advanced trick! When you commented on my comment last video telling me to watch The Card Trick That Fooled Penn And Teller, I had already had that video in 'watch later' XD.
One of my favourite sleights is the French Drop. Obviously combined with something else, because as Master Sankey always says "A big action covers the small one" ;)
My favorite type of sleight is a color change because it is so versatile and it is a very visual moment of magic when one card transforms into another.
This takes some practice for beginners, I'm so happy to see this trick, it's always a great thing to do at parties. Just have to keep trying so you can't hear the coins in the hand where you don't want them to know it's in. How many tries did you have to do this before you nailed it?
The paddle move, it's great for impromptu and I use it on a borrowed quarter, before any other borrowed quarter trick, to make it look double headed and then I flip tails(most of the time). This really helps me gauge the spectator's skepticism and lower the expectations of spectators that are harder to fool.
The sleeves-up pass, which I learned on a certain youtube channel, is for sure one of my favorites (thanks for that one Jay). Other than that, I like double lifts. Maybe not the flashiest of sleights, but a damn effective one.
I have very little time for 'flashy sleights.' They draw too much attention to themselves. I like simple, direct, humble servants with lots of different applications.
Wow, 'next level' stuff there for sure. Slight wise - overall, it's gotta be the Double Lift - so, so, so many uses. I don't know that many coin slights yet, but my favourite is one I saw on your channel a while back where rest a coin on your watch strap (forgotten the name though... maybe something to do with wombats?).
you know a move / routine is SO good when you have to slow down the complete tutorial and spend HOURS to try to understand every muscle movement being done - what a great trick ! Thanks and I guess will shut me down in the room now for a couple of months (or years) :D
My favourite sleights are definitely the card switches; I especially use the Top Change and the Mexican Switch a lot. They're so much fun to play with, you can build a lot around them :D
I can't get over how cool the classic pass is that you showed recently! Taking me a while to learn it, but wow does it ever look cool! This one is also very cool :) Really liking the sneak peeks!!!
My favorite sleights are sleights of the mind. However, for practical sleights, my current fav is probably the back palm; only because I just got it down.
It's hard to choose just one because there are some really awesome, easy to do and very fooling sleights out there. But I would choose the diagonal palm shift because it is very versatile and it is the base off a lot of other sleights.
i think my favourite sleight of hand is the rub away vanish which i learned on your channel. i think there is something absolutely incredible about faking an action. you are not supposed to make it invisible, like in the classic pass, let s say. the move is not supposed to be unseen. it is supposed to look like an ordinary an casual move but it isn t such thing. i hope i made my point clear
You are amazing. Not too many things impress me, but man, you really are very entertaining to watch and the awesome part of it all, is that I don't think the average person can do it, even after you've shown it in slow motion. I wish you a healthy long life, because people like you are very very rare.
Your moves r so good that I was confused during the tutorial
:)
Same
SankeyMagic lol
Magma False ?
Came 2 years later but this effect is so powerful, I showed it to my pops who did a lot of magic and went on penn and teller fool us, this fooled him so that met a lot to me
Very elegant solution, beautifully executed. You did a similar trick to me a few years back in downtown TO. I've been a big fan since.
Not sure that you class it as a slight but forcing a card is still one of the simplest yet most important card magic skills.
great trick, but I also love that you give credit where credit is due. it really adds to my magic education..thanks
My favourite sleight is the shuttle pass, it looks so clean when it's done well.
The doublelift! Best sleight for beginners and professionals! Really mind-blowing tricks are possible with this great sleight. It's essential!
Sankey magic is the only magician that gives these free videos, real slights with an in depth tutorial, and he gives a preview gj, Mr. Jay Sankey would you please release more tutorials thanks you
Still replaying 4 years in! Get him a trophy!
my favorite sleight is definitely the Hermann Pass as I can usually cover it really really well. The classic pass has a tendency to flash from time to time depending on what angle the audience is at. I especially like working my Hermann pass from a spread out position and cover it with squaring the deck.

True!
After seeing the classic pass tutorial on your channel couple days ago, it has been my favorite sleight. Seriously I was really blown away with that.

My favorite sleight is the classic pass, I even figured out a way to use the pass to control the selected card to the bottom. Love the channel
Amazing skill man........ and the way you present it is totally on a different level.
The pass. An insane effect on its own for sleight demonstrations, colour changes, ambitious card sequences etc. or also can be a completely invisible control setting up for a killer finish. Easy to learn, difficult to master, impossible not to love!
Hi Sankey, i would love to see some cool ring tricks. Is an object that can be always with you, so you are never unprepared to do some magic
thx sankey ever since i started viewing you my sleight of hand skills have improved thank you so much sankey.
Good to know. Keep practising, and watch out for those bad habits.
The Tilt is definitely my favorite sleight since I do ambitious card tricks alot and that move just sets me up for tons of different reveals :)
I love this trick! Ive been practicing non-stopped since i saw it. Thank you for posting this trick it got me excited about magic again!!!
A very lovely deception. Thanks for sharing. My favorite sleight? Hard to choose. When it comes to coins a shuttle pass is very useful. I've been trying to get a flying shuttle pass to work without the coin jumping to the floor. Still working on it :)

Very advanced stuff Jay! LOVE IT!!! Not sure any other magician would be so giving to his fans!! VERY Appreciated!!
Oh hey, you know me, when it comes to my fans....I gotta do the best I can.
Such an intricate performance! Just amazing!
Thanks very much my friend.
I really like the Double Lift, it's simple but it has so many uses and variations to it. A solid go to for me.
My favorite sleight is the retention vanish. Its just so simple yet beautiful if done right, even if you know how its done.
I LOVE that himber count!! I was surprised it's not as difficult as it looks. It's tough, but not as bad as I thought it'd be. Great move!
Incredible, the sounds made by the coins as you pass them really fool the eyes
Absolutely phenomenal effects you produce Jay. I never thought I would start magic, but you've had me vanishing coins for two months now.
Dudeee i love the way you show and put up your performances, so inspiring!!
my favorite sleight is the one I get away with.
My favorite slight would probably be Doppelgänger by Justin Miller. It can be used as a force, "control," or very powerful convincer in an ACR.

And congrats for more than 100.000 subscribers. You worth it. You're a great magic teacher and I love your channel.
Hey George, hope yer having a nice night. Thanks for the long-time support bro.
Favorite slight? There are so many to choose from! I would have to say the Mercury card fold. Revealing a folded card appearing somewhere at the end of a routine is a fantastic feeling!
It's a real mind-bender.
Especially how amazing Mr. Wonder makes it look, that little box at the beginning of his ambitious card routine is genius
my favourite sleight is the ditching coin (or ring etc.) vanish. i use it a lot! and i love to practise it!!! I even was lucky enough to have greg wilson as a teacher for this one
My favorite sleight is a force that seems rather bold but works every time I've used it - Vinny Marini's Giggle Force.
One Handed Palm or Marlo Tilt different uses both are extremely powerful and I enjoy magic that quickly executes right in front of the spectator
My favorite sliegth is the double lift just because how simple and powerful it is.
Amazing work. So many slick components managed in harmony.
There's a lot to be said for (on some level) trying to believe the illusions we share with other people.
Absolutely beautiful tutorial Jay Sankey hoping to try it my favorite sleight is French drop which is the easiest illusion. Good job again all the way from Sri Lanka
My first choice is the classic pass, the the false cut. This is the only magic channel on RUclips that any new or old magician would ever need!!!!
Thank you so much Sankey for the advanced trick! When you commented on my comment last video telling me to watch The Card Trick That Fooled Penn And Teller, I had already had that video in 'watch later' XD.
My favourite slight is the double lift, so convincing and has so many different applications
My most favorite sleight is the laser deal. It's so smooth and clean, the effects can be dazzling!
I love the Himber Vanish. I've practiced this enough to preform. Thx Jay
my favorite slight of hand is the double undercut it's soo easy to do and u don't need that fancy passes
One of my favourite sleights is the French Drop. Obviously combined with something else, because as Master Sankey always says "A big action covers the small one" ;)
This took alot of time but it is sooo good..it seriously scrambles the mind of other people...thanks!I'm 12 and I'm really inspired by you
My favorite slight is the classic pass. Thanks for teaching it :)
The psas is my favorite sleight, havent perfected yet but hope to do so soon
The double undercut or dl are my favorites. usefull in soo many routines and very natural
My favorite sleight is probably the coin palm because you do it so well and almost anyone can do it. Keep up the good work man!

One of my favorite coin sleights is the retention vanish. One of my NEW favorite coin sleights is the himber vanish!
Favourite slight is topper by Frank garcia. You can use it in so many impromptu routines.
I really love the gamblers cop or the double lift. But my personal favourite is the side steal!! awesome method. BTW nice coin vanish/count!
My favorite sleight has to be (I think it is Marlo's?) convincing control. SO practical and useful. I use it A LOT!
My favourite slight is the thumb palm it's so easy and simple and can be used in a lot of tricks
I LOVE the diagonal palm shift! I get a lot of mileage from it and I love practicing it. Keep up the great work Jay!
The paddle move, it's great for impromptu and I use it on a borrowed quarter, before any other borrowed quarter trick, to make it look double headed and then I flip tails(most of the time). This really helps me gauge the spectator's skepticism and lower the expectations of spectators that are harder to fool.

I have very little time for 'flashy sleights.' They draw too much attention to themselves. I like simple, direct, humble servants with lots of different applications.
Exactly, that's why I like the 'simple' double lift for example. Simple and yet effective, useable in many different situations.
I love your tricks...they are awesome ... i work like entertainer, i do magic and i will 100% put this in use
For a trick I personally designed, I like the double face lift. It is very useful when showing the four aces front and back.
you know a move / routine is SO good when you have to slow down the complete tutorial and spend HOURS to try to understand every muscle movement being done - what a great trick !
Thanks and I guess will shut me down in the room now for a couple of months (or years) :D
Favorite sleight ? Palming and passes(on card tricks)
My favorite sleight is lapping! I really got into it after watching your soda can video.
Hell yeah. At the right time and place, lapping is insane. You can create some magic moments that are VERY hard to do any other way. :)
One of my favorites has to be the Tenkai/Goshman Pinch. It's sooooo pretty.
My favourite sleights are definitely the card switches; I especially use the Top Change and the Mexican Switch a lot. They're so much fun to play with, you can build a lot around them :D
I love the top change too. Takes guts and perfect timing. :)
Your so clean and confident with your performances! 😄
I can't get over how cool the classic pass is that you showed recently! Taking me a while to learn it, but wow does it ever look cool! This one is also very cool :) Really liking the sneak peeks!!!
Hey Jay I want to ask that if I order your any dvd, could it will be delivered in India???
Oh yeah - I've got lots of wonderful fans in India and my staff ships there all the time.
+SankeyMagic Thnkx for that. Well I m gonna buy those soon.:)
I love the move Topper you taught! I use it all of the time, one of my favorite moves I use to fool my friends and family.
My favorite sleight of hand is the double lift because it's so useful and it can causes so great reactions.
Great routine…. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite is the thumb Palm. It makes it so simple to hide smaller objects for tricks.
All time favorite Sankey trick!
What is that outro audio from? I know of 2 other youtube channels that use it.
My favorite slight is the Glide, I use it a lot especially for one of my favorite card tricks, where the magician fails ;)
My favourite sleight is the centre deal it can be used so well!!!
My favorite sleights are sleights of the mind. However, for practical sleights, my current fav is probably the back palm; only because I just got it down.
can you do more Documentaries. Something like you did with the Toronto CN Tower video. I really liked that!!
Thanks Shrek. Coming soon!
OOOOOOOHHHH!!! Can't Wait! Congratulations on reaching 100k. I knew you could do it Buddy!
It's hard to choose just one because there are some really awesome, easy to do and very fooling sleights out there. But I would choose the diagonal palm shift because it is very versatile and it is the base off a lot of other sleights.
My favourite move is the simple riffle shuffle. It is easy yet very complex to spectators and never fails to impress while mixing up the deck.
I learned this one on your all coin magic DVD back in the day
Snap change has got to be my favorite sleight. It can just look so good when performed right.
i think my favourite sleight of hand is the rub away vanish which i learned on your channel. i think there is something absolutely incredible about faking an action. you are not supposed to make it invisible, like in the classic pass, let s say. the move is not supposed to be unseen. it is supposed to look like an ordinary an casual move but it isn t such thing. i hope i made my point clear
How do you do the thing based on the himber vanish please help I'm so stuck
Dude everytime i get sick of magic. I watch one of your videos and im back to loving it.
Wow- I'm truly thrilled that my stuff inspires a spark in you. So happy for us BOTH ya know?
+SankeyMagic what makes you like magic?
You are amazing. Not too many things impress me, but man, you really are very entertaining to watch and the awesome part of it all, is that I don't think the average person can do it, even after you've shown it in slow motion. I wish you a healthy long life, because people like you are very very rare.
Wow that was truly deceptive Jay! Favorite sleight of hand? The ol' double lift
Have a great day Gilberto!
+SankeyMagic ey thanks!
