    John I have the same toy as you but still learning how to use it...I am only now trying the pen and enjoying it. I work with both my pen and a gaming mouse which I programmed to digitise. I love my wacom 32in cintiq pro.....I am blessed!

    Have you ever seen the Tablet Pro Studio software? It is similar to what you are doing, but instead of a remote, you have a panel of buttons that you can program (on touchscreen windows pcs). The panel will be docked on your monitor and you can make it a variety of sizes. He has preset panels for certain programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc), but you can make your own custom panel and save it. You can use a variety of pens with the software (Surface, Renaisser, etc) and with the software you can reprogram the buttons. It seems to have a learning curve, but Justin has a lot of videos and is very responsive to provide help. I have the software, but I haven't had the time to figure it all out yet. I would love to see how it works on Hatch!

    I just lost my digitizing pen to my monoprice 22 pen display and they dont sell replacements ughhh, I knew I should of gone with Wacom, I had one before. I use a stream deck and programed all my shortcuts into that. That is a great time saver to. I am so saving up for the Wacom 32 shes so pretty.

      Wacom products come with software so you can set the buttons on the pen and remote depending on the model you’ve purchased.

    John when you draw your designs what system do you use AI or CorelDraw. I want to use the best system for embroidery.
    I am starting with a laptop with 2TB and a wacom cintiq 22HD. Still needing to purchase the Hatch system. Once my laptop and wacom arrive I will.

      We use both in-house, keep in mind that as a digitizer I’m primarily involved with converting graphics into embroidery, not creating the artwork.So I personally focus on the digitizing software, not the graphics software. Both are specialized, separate, but work together. I’ve found it more cost effective to hire/pay for graphic designers and focus my talent within the embroidery side.

    Wow! Incredible setup, John! I wonder how much of a lottery win is needed to afford that? I am new to your courses and to Hatch, but have gotten myself an i7 PC with a decent graphics card (EVGA GeForce 750 GTX Ti), 32gb ram, and a Huion Kamvas Pro 20" monitor. That is all my quarantine budget would allow, but I think it will work for me. I plan to start your classes ASAP, now that my system is all setup. Happy New Year from the wet coast of Canada!

      The best decision I made (which was biased by a opinion from John Deer) was not upgrading from PE-Design 10 to PE-Design 11. Instead, I keep the PE-Design 10 and bought Hatch 2. Now, buying Hatch 2 is one thing. Buying Hach 2 trough John Deer’s Digitizing Made Easy is another game. Th goodies I have got, like we use to say here, it was the cherry over the cake. And that allowed me to start with the John’s Digitizer’s Dream Course. I bought the remaining levels and completed them. Now I’m astonished with what I’ve learned. That compelled me to upgrade my system PC. And the decision to first invest in learning and then upgrade the system was a real good one. Now I can take advantage from it. And note that I just digitize for fun and as a hobby. So, if you plan to start John’s classes, the only thing you may regret, is not start it sooner.

    hello sir, i m from Bangladesh, always i see your videos but I have 1 question how can I create a pdf presentation of the production. please answer ....i am using wilcom E2.

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  3 года назад

      Hello, thanks for commenting! I haven't used E2 in a while (given we now use E4 and Hatch). You can save a JPG or PNG in Hatch under Files > Capture Design Image. Perhaps it is the same layout in E2? If not, message Wilcom support. They are amazing and quick to reply :)

    I have alot of thread tails on the top of my embroidery designs "from switching to colors" its there anyway to avoid them ?

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  3 года назад

      If you use it a single needle machine and changing colors than you would need to trim/pull off excess thread after each change. Multi-needles are similar, but usually only for the first time running the thread after the change. After the next trim the thread should not appear on the top.

    If I have an Apple Computer and a Tablet to draw on to digitize, what do I need for the Tablet to communicate to the Apple computer?
