Scott is such an inspiration. He was literally on death's bed a few times. He found his faith again and the Lord Jesus saved him for this time and place. It's inspirational and encouragement for us all.
Just seen them yesterday in Cle, and I've seen them 3 times . My son, who poked fun at me for loving Creed, attended. He said it was awesome! Even apologized for mocking me! I'm 61 and he's 26. One of their best shows!!!
That's Awesome. Im 48 and saw them last month with my 23 year old son. We both cried and hugged during Arms Wide Open. I would to play my acoustic guitar and sing it to him when he was a baby, it was so surreal to be at that show with him... Thank you Scott 😊
I went a few months ago with my 28 and 15 year old boys. My 28 year old was a fan in his younger years, but grew to be one of those that made fun of them, and my 15 year old never was a fan. Both boys walked away amazed and have a new found respect for Creed. My 15 year old has been jamming there music ever since.
Why the comeback was so huge??? Because the nostalgia!!! Human Clay was my introduction into rock when i was a teen. I eventually learned about my own prison shortly after, but Human Clay was my intro. That was over 25 years ago. When i listen to Creed now it brings back all the great memories i had as a teen. My dad would sing along all the time. I remember lying in bed with fresh AA batteries in my anti-skip cd player and my sony headphones on jamming out to creed until i fell asleep. To go from a headbang to What If, to tearing up to Wash Away Those Years, it just brings back all the feelings i had as a teen. Just watched your live show from Detroit yesterday that was posted on youtube. It felt amazing and Creed is very much Creed!!!! You all look healthy and i can tell you guys are at the top of your game again!!!! Creed will go down as the legends of the Attitude Era musically. Hope you guys tour through IL again. Ive never seen you guys live and your at the top of my concert list. I plan on buying VIP as well so i can meet everyone. Keep up the great work Creed!!!!!
I was standing in line for creed tickets over 20 years ago and the concert was canceled, never to be rescheduled. Creed imploded and morphed into Alter Bridge. Oved decades, AB became my favorite band. Saw them in concert. Total dream. Then last night the loop closed with finally seeing Creed perform together again. AB is my number 1, but seeing Creed together again with what seems to be a genuinely healthy Stapp was a really beautiful thing. Felt really special in that arena. Stuff healed in there last night for a lot of folks like me I think. Really happy for the dude. He sounded great. His voice is really working back into shape.
I had almost the same experience. I had the tickets in hand to take my daughter to see them in Dallas then a week before the concert they broke up, she was devastated. Saturday night I finally got to take her to see them and we both cried like babies during “With arms wide open”. We are so glad you guys are back. The positivity this band exudes is so badly needed these days. May God bless you all and keep you and your families safe and healthy.
Seen them last night and I couldn’t agree more! Blink 182 have been my fav band since middle school, just the fun of it all, but I’ve always liked all music. I went last night knowing I would know all the songs and enjoy them, I had no clue I was going to be completely jaw dropped not even able to sing along I was so awestruck, what I witnessed from the first to the last second of the show was a band reminding everyone exactly why they were the biggest band in the world, and they performed flawlessly. I remember thinking last night that this guy could possibly be the greatest vocalist of all time and great performer. I can’t say enough 20 out of 10 and I think I have a new fav band.
Dude is still all about himself. The only reason he is relevant at this moment is because Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips agreed to reunite with him and there he is soaking up all the attention without his band mates anywhere around. It won’t last, his ego won’t let it. Bring on Alter Bridge and Tremonti!!!!
@@luv2hnt1973 Tremonti's the glue, and over-arching talent. There's a humble fella, who gets it. He and Myles Kennedy are real magic. Nothing against Creed and their music, but it doesn't hold a candle to what Alter Bridge - they don't belong on the same stage.
Beautiful interview and energies thank you. There is a profound humility that comes to many people who've been to hell and back. Scott Stapp is a huge inspirational example of how to embrace the traumas of the past and switch them to wisdom. Sensitives are in many ways open to the troubles of the world and they carry this burden until they break. Thank you and love to anyone struggling with their own demons. There is light, and it comes if you want it more than who you used to be. Love and gratitude, Alan Chapman
I have seen Creed twice this year, once in the Summer and again in the Fall. Best Concerts that I even been too. The one with Mammoth was the best of all.
This guy is sooo humble and Thankful. I do love that there was no plan B for him and Creed. And it’s great they are back and just killing. Good for Scott, Mark and Creed. 🤘🤘🤘🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Scott went thru a lot on this journey. Some his fault..some of it medical/biology. It's awesome he came out ok. Many musicians in his occupation aren't as lucky. God is with him for sure. It's cool to see him and his bandmates thriving again.
Scott looks happy & content . His voice is amazing!!! I love the song Black Butterfly! I am so glad that he got his life together & that Creed are killing it on tour! I LOVE CREED!!!!
I went to see Creed this summer at VA Beach and they were AWESOME! I will definitely be going in 2025 if they tour again. Scott’s vocals sounded incredible and Mark shredding was something special to see. You could feel that the band had good chemistry and it was great to see them together again!
Just saw them at Madison square garden last week. They were amazing! Last time I saw him was probably back in the late '90s early 2000s.... Fourth time I seen them and he still sounds just as good... If they rock the House!
My very first concert was Creed / Sevendust / 3 Doors down in Ft. Wayne, IN in like late spring 1999. I just saw them again in Atlanta on 12/4 with 3 Doors Down and WVH. I loved every minute of it. My five year old always asks now to hear the "take me higher" song when I drive her to school. She was so upset she couldn't go to the concert with me, but alas, she's 5 and it was a school night. I look forward to when I can bring her, maybe in a few years, hah!
I guess he wasn't that humble back in the day, just like the rest of the band. They had some clash of the egos and couldn't cope with the pressure and mocking on a healthy way. But I always connected to some of their music.
When I was like 18 started listening to creed and still liked them dont get me wrong I really respect stapp he went through a lot mentally that wears you down a lot me personally I went through a lot mentally in the past 3 years I can finally say I feel way better I had anxiety disorder and excessive depressive disorder my body and mind couldn't handle i wanted to quit work and many times I wanted to die I'm really happy for Scott to see him sober happy and focus more in his life and family many guys wouldn't make it through mental problems

I hear the word Gratitude from him a lot! Would LOVE to hear a Creed rock version of Brandon Lake’s song “Gratitude”! And Brandon Lake loves Creed so I know he’s be honored!!
Scott Stapp willed his band’s success into existence. I believe there might be something to that when you believe and strive hard enough. Now if only I could believe and strive for something of worth in my own life 😒
When Scott gave his Top 4 songs I was sure he would’ve said “Faceless Man”. What an amazing song. I bet he was just on the spot. I got to see them sing that live back in September in atlanta. I just saw them last week in Atlanta and they replaced that slot with another great tune “Inside us All”. Man I can’t wait to see them again. Super bummed I didn’t see Atl on the 2025 dates. I guess I’m gonna travel. lol
Glad to see you and appreciate everything you have done and your band mates had to put up with so I'm glad you doing much better than before i think you need to find the right way to do it RIGHT AND YOU HAVE AND I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WITH YOUR ISSUES AND GOT THEM ALL STRAIGHT OUT GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOREVER AND BAND MATES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😅😂❤❤😂😅😊😅❤😂😂😊😅❤😂❤

Great to see Scott happy and healthy - mentally, physically, and spiritually. Creed are finally getting the respect they deserve.
One of the greatest comebacks ever.
Watching this interview makes me a fan. He seems so genuine and grateful. Seems like a good dude all around.

As a fan of Creed I am so happy to see such a great interview! After such a hard fall it's nice to see Scott rise up. The interviewer was OUTSTANDING!
“I know what is like to have it, and I know what is like to not”
I really appreciate what you just said, Scott! 👊👊👊
Scott's lyrics to his music brings me to my knees.. especially One Last Breath
Inside Us All is highly underrated and does not get the attention it deserves. That was my go to when things were not going well for me.
Great to see Scott Stapp in best Form. No joke about saving lives with the music.

Great interview! Love you Scott! So talented! Great to see you happy and healthy! Creed, greatest of all time! ❤️🤘🏻
I saw them in Detroit with grown kids and grandkids a couple months ago. Best night ever!
10 years ago I never imagined things would be where they are now. I am so proud of him. Hopefully him and Mark can cut some new songs at some point
I hope so too. The only thing is Tremonti is really busy with a ton of upcoming projects but hopefully he can squeeze some new Creed in there 👍
Yes bro for real. Surprised they haven’t already!

I saw them twice this year!! Totally worth every penny! I love him!
Absolutely agree! Saw them in August in Hershey, PA and again last week in Allentown, PA. Both shows rocked!
Worth every penny and every Nickel back. ;) I know, people made fun of these two bands but I see that Creed came on top of it, despite the mocking.

Scott wouldn't put Faceless Man on his "Mt. Rushmore" of Creed songs? I'm surprised but there's only room for four songs! 🎶
IN Dallas they played it but in in Fort Worth last night they did not. They had a different line up.
Creed 🐐’s
Stapp is on that TRT. He’s looking jacked. Way younger and healthier than his early creed run. Talking about 2009-2013.
My own prison is still on my playlist and forever will be
They could fill a stadium on their own , even now. Very few bands can do that
I'm glad how Scot being misinterpreted as Christian band. I knew it from the start. A free spirit don't follow any herd.
I think he's so unfairly maligned. Great frontman and seems to be a really decent person.
Went to the concert on Friday in Orlando and while I enjoyed Mammoth and 3 doors down Creed made them look like amateurs.

People understand simple músic
People dont understand complicated music
His daughter started to cry and ask who is the girl singing with him BECAUSE he ditched their mom!
He souled his soul . To the devil again
How so?
So Scott Stapp can speak proper English............I was trying to work out what dialect he sings in and it's not a dialect at all it's caricature..........he purposely changes the sounds of the consanants and vowels for example he says Opan............when the word is Open...........It doesn't sound great at all...............but in all his songs he overly exaggerates
Total Hypocrite.
