Valdez is definitely great for fishing, especially for new anglers, kids, and family members! I highly recommend this place if you want to have memorable experience! Be prepared for the rain though :)
Depends on the kind of fishing you want to do. It's great if you just want to take home your own fish to eat, but personally I don't find snagging enjoyable from a sport perspective. I also prefer not to fish in the crowd. Gorgeous fish though! Glad you had fun
@@jomar0123 Coho up North are built totally different to the Coho we get in the southern part of their range. In Seattle where I do most of my fishing a typical fish is 6-8lbs, while anything above 10lbs is big
I do like it better than Seward huntr. It's more accessible, however a bit rocky. We missed the run in Seward maybe that's why I'm a bit biased, but Valdez town and fishing was great.

Nice video! Now I gotta plan a trip to Valdez next summer! Those coho were fat and juicy! Great catch!
Definitely!! They were really fun to catch too! They would take off as soon as you hook them. Valdez is definitely worth visiting!

Thanks! We had a blast, we tried snagging initially but we actually caught most of our fish using spinners. They were massive!

@@speedbird1598 very interesting! If you ever decide to fish here in Alaska, definitely hit up Valdez.
Hey Bro! Nice video 👍🏻 Can I ask what is the good month to go? I’m planning to go to Valdez next week.
Thanks man! it's too early for Silvers. There will be plenty of pinks, but if you want Silvers late August to early September is good.
What month was you in Valdez fishing?
I believe this was September
Never fished Valdez, did you find it to be better fishing than Seward?

Great content! Please keep making more videos! ❤️❤️
