Hey I'm actually doing this currently and have a question. Since the door bar on the roll cage goes right to the frame , when upgrading to a cage, can you weld the windshield down bar on top of the existing door bar? Or does the windshield bar have to be welded to your "frame" and then the door bar welded to that windshield bar? Thanks and Great videos, good work guys.
Old video, but hoping for a response, when you say door bar must pass between elbow and shoulder, is that with arms at your side in the seat, or while holding steering wheel?

Great video! Do you have anymore fabrication videos? I like seeing Lyns work.
Yes Ian there will be one this week, and plans for many more informational videos covering all parts from street to strip for a Cummins build.
Clean install
Are gussets a requirement if welded all the way around?

Sitting in seat with arms at your side
Ok thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't help me for what I'm looking to do.
What do you use to seal out the weather & fumes where the cage passes through the body?
We either weld in a tight patch panel if possible or seal it up with seal it using silicone.
