\o/ Perfect news. You are the best coder I know. I can guess that you are working very hard for this beautiful program. I congratulate you. I want to use Koalavideo v04 immediately and make new videos. Thank you very much. 💕

    Hi daddlertl,
Thank you so much for sharing your Dropbox files. You gave us the opportunity to watch long reu videos with Koalavideo v04. I have a suggestion. If serial files are collected in a folder, users can more easily recognize that the folder is a serial reu folder. for example, Yavin 1....7 in a folder. matrix 1...9 in another folder. What is your opinion?

I followed your suggestion and put them into subdirectories. Fun fact: the Yavin files were released on the WiC64 media centre before I released Koalavideo V04 (bender123 uploaded them while I was working on the autoplay feature and he did not even know that I am working on that - those file were a nice usecase while test the new feature). When the autoplay feature was working I tested it on a retro computer meeting and let it run for around 10 hours without any crash. During that time the player pushed around 2.7 GB of data through my Commodore 64 which is a lot for that computer.

Great news, thank you. 2.7gb data - commodore 64 and 10 hours of continuous operation, unbelievable. Your commodore 64 could run away from home at any momt :)

@@daddlertl3how long does it take to load a file? Because watching a longer video that freezes every few minutes would not be ideal. Ideally, a video should load while there's still enough buffered video and audio on the computer. Maybe with smaller chunks, given what you said, with 4MB chunks you could still fit a movie in 255 chunks.

@@vytah If your USB device is fast enough it only takes 1.2 seconds to load the next video.

I converted the entire Wreck-It-Ralph movie. Clocks in at 43 REUs. I've calculated that to 2024 floppy disks (happy coincidence with the year). So now I have that movie on VHS, Betamax, Video2000, Video8, VCR and Commodore 64 (no. I'm crazy, bonkers, weird and quirky, but not insane enough to actually split that movie onto 2024 double sided disks. Does anybody have a spare SFD1001?)
