I think in the case of portraying true crime stories where there are loved ones survived by the victims it's extremely important to consider their feelings and such films should be done either with the family's blessing or not at all. I've heard much mention about the need for sensitivity in the telling of Per Ohlin's story, but even though Oystein was disliked by many, his parents also lost a son, that should be respected as well.
