@@SpartanandPudgey Ditto to his comment, your reactions are the closest I can get to watching this amazing show for the first time again, so thank you for that!
It's interesting that Pudgey said that Walt mimics his villains. What he does do is take a part of the people he's killed. For example, he started cutting the crust of his sandwiches after he killed Krazy8 because that is how Krazy8 ate his sandwiches. After killing Gus, he copies some of the things he does, like driving a Volvo shown in flash forwards and things that are shown later in the season that I won't spoil. There are more adversaries that he will kill and copy but obviously I can't say any more than that.
@@samuelchallis3420 Yes. Although, I think that it could be argued that this would still fall under Gus. In other words, he's copying Gus here. One argument against this is that he hadn't killed Gus at the time he poisoned Brock. So I don't know. I can see both sides.
Man, this show ♥️… I’m SO excited to see your reactions every week. This final season (especially the last handful of episodes) is truly something amazing. Absolute rollercoaster.
They already came up with gambling as how he got the money. That should give cover to the car or anything else. Worrying about a bottle of wine. It's absurd. Nobody is investigating that much.
well, gambling money is also illegal money there. That cover up was only for Marie and Hank who they trust. If IRS investigated or someone reported their weird income, all of their lies would crash down. So yeah, rented cars, the car wash, expensive consumables, everything could be used as evidence
No, I don't think she's trying to drown herself. The body's natural instincts will prevent simple immersion from doing that, which Skyler is smart enough to know. I think she's simply trying to escape -- being submerged, she can no longer hear Walter and he seems very far away -- and also to interrupt Walt's speechifying about himself with an (overly dramatic) "call for help," behaving in a way such that everyone knows something is wrong.
imagine being told they hope your cancer comes back and they are counting days. Now imagine that someone being your spouse. Lowkey the hardest hitting lines of the show
I think Pudgey hates Walt a little too much. There's disgust in her face everytime he's on screen. She doesn't seem to appreciate how in the beginning, he was a weak man and became stronger... He was being belittled by Hank, at the party, when he told him to pick his gun but ''warning, it may be a little heavy for you haha'', then ''come see us DEA in action it may add a little excitement to your life haha'' . He was belittled by Skyler, who gave him a boring handjob...telling him what to do.. he was disrespected by everyone...he stopped giving a shit about what people think and started to say things freely and took confident risks. Of course in this early season 5, he's an asshole to Skyler, but the things he did are not that bad... carefully poisonning a child knowing he won't die? that's the worst? I don't understand why Pudgey hates him this much... Maybe she doesn't relate to being a bullied young girl and becoming stronger with time. Even in the first seasons, she didn't seem to particularly like Walter.
@@smashmusiquewalt didnt become 'stronger' as the show went on, he just revealed his true side, the weak walt was the fake one he adopted to mask his bitterness and anger. Walt's 'strength' comes from a sad pathetic place, where in his egotistical mind he was wronged by grey matter and gretchen
@@dinochookproductions5190 well, he lived 50 years as a ''fake one'' as you call it, I call it weak. it's strength to drop the mask. he became more confident right? I don't think his anger and bitterness is all misplaced... in a lot of cases it's justifiable
The discussions you guys have when you dive into the episodes are truly next level reaction content and I am so here for it. Sad BB is coming to an end, and wish BCS were on the horizon ;-(
Walt had already killed someone at that point…there is no comparing their wrongdoings over the course of the show. Although i think it is eluded to that she had an entanglement with him before the time of the show. Might not have gotten physical
At 1:10 when Pudgey says it's like he becomes them when he kills them, she's actually quite onto something. There are a couple little clues, one being he starts to copy their mannerisms once he's killed them. When he made Crazy 8 (Krazy 8?)'s sandwich and realized he takes the crust off, he starts to cut crusts off of his own personal sandwiches.
@@raianthony8492You're clearly only saying that as a fake fan who has for some reason already watched the entire show, especially the last few episodes 🙄

16:08 "Really? I didn't think he would say yes." Remember that the reason Hank rejected the previous promotion was because he didn't want to go to El Paso -- afraid of the violence in the field and of not fitting into the different (less "bigoted frat boy") office culture. The Blue Meth case became an obsession as an _excuse_ for Hank's rejection, but wasn't its cause. Here Hank gets to stay at his current office _and_ retains overwatch on the Fring case, so it's a more appealing promotion -- though you can bet he'll be more "in the weeds" on the Blue Meth case than your typical supervisor would be.
imo this season butchers skylers character. she’s exactly who she was in season 3 but after everything she did in season 4 she has absolutely no right to have flip flopped so hard “i can’t stop laundering your money” directly for involved. CHOSE to not get divorced. CHOSE to threaten ted. none of these things a good person would do. she’s horrible. jesse is horrible. walt is horrible. this is a show about bad people and i hate so much that people defend jesse and skylers actions and act like walt is the ONLY bad guy because walt does the truly dirty work. even tho a lot of what walt had to do is because of jesse to begin with.

i love how yall recognise how smart hank is. people often make fun of him and call him stupid cuz walter was right under his nose but walter literally always had the upper hand because he knew who was investigating him. he’s not dumb for not knowing the high school teacher going through a divorce for gambling and has lung cancer is the drug kingpin he has been chasing
He's not dumb. But this is comeuppance for underestimating Walter for his entire life. Remember the pilot episode when he was making fun of him for being unable to hold a gun confidently.

I feel like at this point she should’ve just gone to Hank and told him the truth. The show doesn’t make a convincing argument as to why this option is off the table for her.
Seriously, people in comments that says bad stuff about Skylar are either first time viewers who weren't paying attention, or just plan women haters that can't see she is a three dimensional character with more than enough reasons for everything that she does. Some ever go as far as to try and defend Walter 🤦
Skyler's personality change in season 5 always gives me whiplash. She was a confident, intelligent, and proactive (yet reluctant) accomplice come season 4's finale; and she's has a completely different personality in season 5 episode 1. Might be why some fans don't like her character.
Skyler going into the pool, and being surrounded there by blue water, in her blue skirt, is a symbol of her been drowned by the meth operation. I think it works really well.
Pudgey's kind of right ... Gus killing Victor with the box cutter was a two birds one stone situation. Victor had been spotted at the murder scene. Mike had informed Gus of that situation. At that point, Victor was dead. In the dinner scene after the murder and disposal, Jesse told Walt that Gus's message was "If I can't kill you, you'll sure as shit wish you were dead." Gus was not happy with Walter, Jesse or Mike, but he still needed them. So when killing Victor (because Victor had been spotted at the scene of a murder), he did it in a way to intimidate the everyone else. Walt constantly spins the narrative to fit his needs. He tries to rationalize things. Walt thinks Mike is overstepping, so he re-frames what Gus did to Victor as "Flying too close to the sun". But does Gus really care about who makes his meth? Walt, Jesse, Gail? Flying close to the sun is a God-like power. Gus doesn't see meth cooking that way. Walt does. And Walt believe anyone else trying to be God-like besides himself needs to be taught a lesson. Walt is simply twisting things to fit his own narrative.
HBO's Rome would be a excelent continuation of Game of thrones. HBO's Sopranos would be an excellent continuation of Breaking bad. Both GOT and Breaking Bad wouldnt exist without these prior shows and even Brian Cranston would say so.
This is why people really hate skylar imo, she was totally on board with everything car wash was her idea as was cooking the books for walt then when shit gets real shes like this? Walt killing gus wasnt even his first option he wanted to take everyone and go but couldn't cause skylar gave the money to ted and there was that cold ass "good" when ted was whimpering in a hospital bed that he wouldn't tell anyone yet so many think shes purely innocent 😂 walt jr and holly are innocent, skylar isnt 🤷♂️
with a few exceptions i don't think people think she's innocent, every character in this show is half bad or bad except kids, it's just what these people say is she is a lesser evil compared to Walt
This is like comparing Marie's thefts and Tuco's actions. You can't compare Skylar's action that are to protect her and the family, to Walt's who says he wants to protect the family but just cares about being recognized as powerful
Bro i am drinking vodka at 12 midday and watching this video while waiting in front of of a dubious little shop where 20 arabs are calling with headphones because of free wlan. What a day.
Honestly Skylar needs to chill. If my wife was bringing in that kind of money, had a plan to quit once X amount if received, I was left completely out of it and I knew she was doing it super smart and safe I'd be like "yo babe buy me this bugatti, ty love ya" 🤣😂
I'm gonna be honest, I found Skylar's super sudden turn to terrified and hating of Walt in season 5 when she was previously with him on the journey to be a bit contrived.. Like the only thing that changed (at least that she knows) is he killed Gus, who was threatening them and Hank. And she turned Ted into a cripple, so its not as if she hasnt hurt people to protect her family.. Like yeah WE can see Walt has gone off the deep end because we see his Heisenberg dealings all the time, but hardly anything has changed for Skylar except for the Gus thing.
Oh yeah nothing changed except he BOMBED A NURSING HOME TO KILL GUS. Nothing to see here, folks. Also, her hurting Ted woke her up to what she was becoming. Not hard to see that. She even says there’s blood on her hands too.
"the only thing that changed" was her husband going from making drugs to killing BY HOMEMADE EXPLOSIVES IN A NURSING HOME. Seriously, just stop hating for hating 🤦
No judgement, but why are you so ok with Mike killing multiple people, but Walt can be judged for killing a few guys. In my opinion there both the same. Fighting over power.
Mike works as a sellsword with many skills that work in the criminal world. He is very wise and knows to stay safe to provide for his men and his granddaughter's future. Walt, as said, is a ticking bomb, who is smart to manipulate and play people to get to the top, no matter what. The bar scene where Mike punches Walt is so satisfying because you get to see how Walt's tactics don't work on someone who is as together as Mike
Bryan Cranston is easy best actor ever Walt's character simply cannot be read ,everything Spartan said about him can be right ,its written in a way where he is in situation where you dont know if hes gone mad, calculated psycho or delusional ,or in denial for his doing ,all and none could be true Here's what i think ,Walt lead life which he regrets in sense that he was tame but he always felt fire inside of him (season 1 flashbacks from his college days with Gretchen) like how he was energetic and full of life , and once he "Broke Bad" it was point of no return , he's always Walt he loves his family he would easy die for them 100% all series long , but his darkness is omnipresent as well now , and it comes out when he's pushed to the corner ,i do truly belive since he killed whole bunch of people in a single year , that if he was going to go mad we would see bigger signs , i think he's 100% cool and collected and that's what's scary , he always had it in him , he for sure became sociopath ,like "Noone can ever cross me and if they do i would kill anyone before going to police to cover my tracks" and that realization that he posesses guts and skills to do that to almost anyone now is what gives him irrefutable ego and sense of pride. (remember Walt's pride is what started this show ,he could've taken money from Elliot and Gretchen long ass time ago) even tho his reason no to was for me justified, since they cut him out of bizz long time ago,so yea call me crazy but i get Walt,he was pussy his whole life (no insult to pussies) but once man relizes he has balls things change for him, especially if that happens when ure 50 LOL i ramble on but yea, i think Walter White is top 3 characters ever, which will be further cemented as show comes to an end,it has been an honor, and rest of season 5 is better than entire series :D
if you think Paul is better actor than Cranston,im sorry, your opinion is not valid its pretty obvious whos got genius in him..especially last 2 seasons, jesse can only match in cries and sasd faces,Bryan owns everything he does@@lelouchvibritannia4028
LOL, the drug peddling murderer who has no problem endangering the life of a child has "issues" but the woman who had an affair with her boss (after she had ended the relationship with her husband) and made invalid entries in his accounting is "the worst". Seems like you're the one with issues because you need your goddamn head examined.
There are assumptions that are safe to make. Like the character thats been getting closer and closer for 5 seasons finding something out. Its just how stories are written.
I hate Skyler. Like Jessie, she constantly pretends to be a hostage and a victim, then she constantly makes the choice to stay. You decided to be Deni at the car wash. Your decision. And now she's saying that the danger comes from Walt? Accusing him alone? How convenient it is to shift all responsibility to 1 person. In this series, people always blame Walter for everything. Other people kill, lie, cheat, blackmailed, but it's always Walter's fault. Grow up.

He killed the gangbangers that used Tomas then he was willing to use Brock
@@samuelchallis3420 Yes. Although, I think that it could be argued that this would still fall under Gus. In other words, he's copying Gus here. One argument against this is that he hadn't killed Gus at the time he poisoned Brock. So I don't know. I can see both sides.
I usually watch y’all’s new BB episodes before my workday starts, but overslept today. Finally home and stoked to relax and watch along 😊
Man, this show ♥️… I’m SO excited to see your reactions every week. This final season (especially the last handful of episodes) is truly something amazing. Absolute rollercoaster.
We are in the "best show ever" territory ladies and gentlemen!
That's past tense s3-4
@@mrtomas0990 nah season 4-5 are peak
Also with victor a reason is that he was seen at the apartment from the neighbors, Mike told Gus on the phone.
You guys are amazing! I’m always happy to see an upload!
Not that time’s up. It means times ticking. If you remember Mike called Walter a ticking time bomb. That’s what the ticking clock represented
imagine being told they hope your cancer comes back and they are counting days. Now imagine that someone being your spouse. Lowkey the hardest hitting lines of the show
Women are like that. They file for devorces, they are spiteful against their exes...
Even in the first seasons, she didn't seem to particularly like Walter.
skyler smoked during pregnancy and cheated. I will not accept any moral highground from her @@smashmusique
@@smashmusiquewalt didnt become 'stronger' as the show went on, he just revealed his true side, the weak walt was the fake one he adopted to mask his bitterness and anger. Walt has been a pos since season 2, evil by season 4 and straight up comic book twirling moustache evil. Walt's 'strength' comes from a sad pathetic place, where in his egotistical mind he was wronged by grey matter and gretchen
@@dinochookproductions5190 well, he lived 50 years as a ''fake one'' as you call it,
I call it weak.
it's strength to drop the mask. he became more confident right?
I don't think his anger and bitterness is all misplaced... in a lot of cases it's justifiable
The discussions you guys have when you dive into the episodes are truly next level reaction content and I am so here for it. Sad BB is coming to an end, and wish BCS were on the horizon ;-(
Been loving watching your guys’ reaction from the first episode!! So excited to get to the last stretch of the show, thanks for the entertainment =]
I mean, I feel bad for Skyler. However. She sang the Happy Birthday, Mr. President song in season 2...
I still have nightmares about that
Yeah, karma is a bitch
Big chungus? Big changes!
Walt had already killed someone at that point…there is no comparing their wrongdoings over the course of the show. Although i think it is eluded to that she had an entanglement with him before the time of the show. Might not have gotten physical
@@LaCheeseriehe made a pass at her at a party and she quit because of that
This show never ceased from highlighting Walter's ego as his downfall while playing the audience as wanting to root for it.
I've seen a few reaction channels..but you 2 are the best..good vibes.humuor.emotion.insight.all the best.
Happy birthday to Walt. Happy birthday to Heisenberg. Happy birthday little sociopath. Happy birthday to you! 🎂🎉
Everyone is talking about skyler nobody is talking about the insane car montage
At 1:10 when Pudgey says it's like he becomes them when he kills them, she's actually quite onto something. There are a couple little clues, one being he starts to copy their mannerisms once he's killed them. When he made Crazy 8 (Krazy 8?)'s sandwich and realized he takes the crust off, he starts to cut crusts off of his own personal sandwiches.
Pudgey was ON POINT with her analysis in this episode.
I honestly forgot that the pool 'incident' happened so late in the series.
Buckle up though 🎉
You guys forgot the conversation when Walter told Saul to call the FBI anonymously to give them the threat about Hank.
100% on Skylar’s side.
She cheated… she deserves much worse!!

Pudgey getting defensive about Hank before Hank got offered the ASAC role. She expects bad things 😂
8:50 to be fair the cold opening from episode one of this season summed it up. Live free or die
Lol that was cute at the end Pudgey "that's what i do" lol with that look on your face lol yea i was thinking that too his time is running out like Mike said Walt is a ticking time bomb tick tick tick and he doesn't want to be around for the boom
Heisenberg the goat
Pudgey, " That's what I do..."😂😂
This was the episode Skylar became: Don Eladio
have you seen the boys? you're looking like the deep today with the green top
Nothing stops this TRAIN 😂
I checked online, the watch Jesse gives Walt is about $10000
You guys sporting that Walter White green
imo this season butchers skylers character. she’s exactly who she was in season 3 but after everything she did in season 4 she has absolutely no right to have flip flopped so hard
“i can’t stop laundering your money” directly for involved.
She'll even call herself a hostage next episode lol
@@HBK_Neil it’s completely delusional imo like she only starts to hate walt again after his “i am the one who knocks” speech GIRLY HES A DRUG COOK WHAT DID YOU EXPECT 😭😭

"I don't know what kind of English that was" - Dude, you're from Australia! Welcome to the world of everyone who listens to you guys.
In the same vein, Lydia does not have a German accent, that's a pretty good American dialect (IIRC, the actress, Laura Fraser, is from the UK). IDK what her accent sounds like when she actually SPEAKS German.
i love how yall recognise how smart hank is. people often make fun of him and call him stupid cuz walter was right under his nose but walter literally always had the upper hand because he knew who was investigating him. he’s not dumb for not knowing the high school teacher going through a divorce for gambling and has lung cancer is the drug kingpin he has been chasing
He's not dumb. But this is comeuppance for underestimating Walter for his entire life. Remember the pilot episode when he was making fun of him for being unable to hold a gun confidently.
You gotta feel for Skylar, she is truly trapped.
She's not exactly innocent either though.
all the homies hate skylar
@@shdw2605 how dare she try to take care of her kids in the presence of a sociopathic meth dealer/murderer/manipulator. the homies really picked up on all the nuance, didn't they lol
I feel like at this point she should’ve just gone to Hank and told him the truth. The show doesn’t make a convincing argument as to why this option is off the table for her.
She had ample opportunity to go to the cops, she had the opportunity to divorce Walt. Skyler is just a shitty hypocrite
I think that spartan should just let pudgey be “the know it all”… she’s the only one that’s ever right😂😂
I was very impressed she picked up on Walt assuming the traits of each antagonist after taking them out.
pool party
Seriously, people in comments that says bad stuff about Skylar are either first time viewers who weren't paying attention, or just plan women haters that can't see she is a three dimensional character with more than enough reasons for everything that she does. Some ever go as far as to try and defend Walter 🤦
Best Season for Skyler in my opinion she has still a lot in upcoming episodes
Skyler's personality change in season 5 always gives me whiplash.
She was a confident, intelligent, and proactive (yet reluctant) accomplice come season 4's finale; and she's has a completely different personality in season 5 episode 1.
Might be why some fans don't like her character.
This season is when Walter became scarface.
Wow you’re cranking out the vids!
Agreed!
"Totally on board" is exaggerating things just the tiniest bit.
@StinkyBuster lol perhaps, but idk man she seemed to be enjoying herself when she committed fraud to get bogdan to sell the car wash 😂
@55titles12 I guess the disconnect is that I don't think that means it's unreasonable for her to be afraid of her murderer husband.
with a few exceptions i don't think people think she's innocent, every character in this show is half bad or bad except kids, it's just what these people say is she is a lesser evil compared to Walt
This is like comparing Marie's thefts and Tuco's actions. You can't compare Skylar's action that are to protect her and the family, to Walt's who says he wants to protect the family but just cares about being recognized as powerful
It’s a tracking device
Ayo.. pool party 🎊

38:39 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
Honestly Skylar needs to chill. If my wife was bringing in that kind of money, had a plan to quit once X amount if received, I was left completely out of it and I knew she was doing it super smart and safe I'd be like "yo babe buy me this bugatti, ty love ya" 🤣😂
well he didn't plan to quit once X amount is received, until he was told to basically
Nothing Walt does is “safe” 😂
Day 2 of recommanding to add Warrior with tom hardy in your reaction list
Bryan Cranston is easy best actor ever
Walt's character simply cannot be read ,everything Spartan said about him can be right ,its written in a way where he is in situation where you dont know if hes gone mad, calculated psycho or delusional ,or in denial for his doing ,all and none could be true
Here's what i think ,Walt lead life which he regrets in sense that he was tame but he always felt fire inside of him (season 1 flashbacks from his college days with Gretchen) like how he was energetic and full of life , and once he "Broke Bad" it was point of no return , he's always Walt he loves his family he would easy die for them 100% all series long , but his darkness is omnipresent as well now , and it comes out when he's pushed to the corner ,i do truly belive since he killed whole bunch of people in a single year , that if he was going to go mad we would see bigger signs , i think he's 100% cool and collected and that's what's scary , he always had it in him , he for sure became sociopath ,like "Noone can ever cross me and if they do i would kill anyone before going to police to cover my tracks" and that realization that he posesses guts and skills to do that to almost anyone now is what gives him irrefutable ego and sense of pride.
(remember Walt's pride is what started this show ,he could've taken money from Elliot and Gretchen long ass time ago) even tho his reason no to was for me justified, since they cut him out of bizz long time ago,so yea call me crazy but i get Walt,he was pussy his whole life (no insult to pussies) but once man relizes he has balls things change for him, especially if that happens when ure 50 LOL
i ramble on but yea, i think Walter White is top 3 characters ever, which will be further cemented as show comes to an end,it has been an honor, and rest of season 5 is better than entire series :D
You misspelled Aaron Paul.
if you think Paul is better actor than Cranston,im sorry, your opinion is not valid
its pretty obvious whos got genius in him..especially last 2 seasons, jesse can only match in cries and sasd faces,Bryan owns everything he does@@lelouchvibritannia4028
Ooooh early, i was about to sleep
Walt might have his issues, but Skyler is the goddamn worst
the one who is going through worse, you mean
"might have his issues" is wild 😂😂
LOL, the drug peddling murderer who has no problem endangering the life of a child has "issues" but the woman who had an affair with her boss (after she had ended the relationship with her husband) and made invalid entries in his accounting is "the worst". Seems like you're the one with issues because you need your goddamn head examined.
38:18 IF Hank finds out...IF. Don't make assumptions.
There are assumptions that are safe to make. Like the character thats been getting closer and closer for 5 seasons finding something out. Its just how stories are written.
@@StinkyBuster _Breaking Bad_ is a strong adherer to the rule of Chekov's gun. But most shows ar enot.

Imo i feel sorry for Jesse not Skylar...
Don’t feel bad for Skylar; the only one you should feel bad for is Walt Jr.
Skyler and Walter are both bad people in their own ways
I hate Skyler. Like Jessie, she constantly pretends to be a hostage and a victim, then she constantly makes the choice to stay. You decided to be Deni at the car wash. Your decision. And now she's saying that the danger comes from Walt? Accusing him alone? How convenient it is to shift all responsibility to 1 person. In this series, people always blame Walter for everything. Other people kill, lie, cheat, blackmailed, but it's always Walter's fault. Grow up.
