Okay, after going over and over this, I have to speak out. @8:15 It seems that if a mother believed she possessed mothers' intuition, she would go to the spot where her son disappeared. Over and over and over. She wouldn't wait a year. Further, beyond the intuition, no mother who truly wanted to figure it out, or be close to her son in any way (just wanting to be in the last place you knew they were) possible, would not go scour the area. Not everyone acts the same, but anyone who wanted to find their child would have been all over that area. She was also dismissive of his friends, like she knew them, and there was just no reason to worry about what they were all up to the night before. You would want every miniscule detail of any information you could get. And he left his phone at home??? And, 16 year olds don't leave to hang out at 6:30 AM. He wrecked their truck, (the "fourth time" he took it off-road) the night before? Dad found the damage in the morning? Where was the dad that morning?

I doubt it was on-line, too much proof there. I've said from Day 1 that he ran off with an older woman from the age of 25-40, whether it was a teacher, someone from church or a family friend so they could be together as a couple under assumed names. Getting a new Identity is LOT easier than people think it. As a retired Police Officer the first place I would look would be on the older females who had moved away to another city/state in the first 6-8 months after his disappearance. Hiding someone out when your not even a suspect is EASY, I mean a couple months ago there was a case where a 44 year old teacher/track and field coach that was hiding her 15 year old boytoy in her basement for 8 months with her husband living upstairs in the house having no idea he was there. If you're a single/widowed/freshly divorced woman with noone else living in her house it's even easier, especially if you're not on anyone's radar, and it's probally the very last woman anyone expects.

As a retired Police Officer I've said from Day 1 of this case that he ran away with a older woman who was a single/freshly divorced/widowed teacher, friend from church or family friend that was aged 25-40 that he was in a secret relationship with. He took the gun with him to protect himself and her from being caught and she hid him away for a couple months until the search died down and they simply moved. Lets say it was a 28-35 year old teacher, teachers move schools all the time, especially in their first 10 years of teaching, She could have gotten a job in say Las Vegas, Phoenix/Tucson, Albuquerque or Denver, somewhere that is with-in a half way driving distance and he left with her to the interview and then stayed there in the rental house while she went back to Colorado City to have her house packed up and moved by an out of town moving service who isn't even looking for her 16 year old lover that she's running away with. and once they are out of state getting a new indentity is EASY, especially for someone who so young and so new to "the system", and once he is established with a new Identity it's easy for them to get married because his new identity is 18-19 years old and noone a few hundred miles away even thinks about it.

Nah, he took it to protect himself and/or the older woman he ran off with from people who would be looking for him. I'm a retired Police Officer and I've said from DAY 1 of this case that he ran off with a older woman who he was secretly having an affair with, who was 25-40 years old that was a teacher, a friend from church or a family friend who was single, freshly divorced or widowed. She hid him out at her house for a couple months until the heat died down and they simply ran off to another town not in that immediate area or another state under an assumed name. Getting a new Identity is ALOT easier than people think it is, and hiding someone out for a couple wee/months is easier too, especially if you live alone, I mean you can explain away noises that are made when your not home/at work can simply be explained away by "oh that's my cat........". I would bet a months pay that he ran off with a woman who hide him out for a while and they just simply moved away without anyone noticing.

Only my opinion after watching this, but I believe his plan after learning he was grounded from driving was to hitchhike or catch a ride on the road near where his scent was lost. Road was used by truckers, etc. Likely why he took the gun, he thought he may need it, just in case. Maybe he had already made plans to do something on the 4th of July that he didn't want to miss, but now wasn't able to drive himself. Things obviously didn't go as planned. Your close but yet so far away........ I'm a retired Police Officer, not from that area but still a retired Police Officer. I've said from DAY 1 of this case that he ran off with an older single/freshly divorced/widowed woman, someone who was a Teacher, Friend from Church or Family Friend that he was having a secret love affair with that's 25-40 years old and she picked him up, hid him in her house for a couple months until the search calmed down and then simply moved away with him once she got a job, I mean this was July 4th, maybe his GF was a teacher who either had or applied for another teaching job in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque or Denver and she hid him out in her house until it was time for her move and he simply jumped in her car and went with her hiding in the back seat until they got out of the area. Teachers move jobs ALL the time, especially in their first 10 years because they are climbing the ladder in both pay and positions, they will stay 2-3 years until their contract is up and then they will move on for 2-3 years and stay until their contracts are up then move on to the next job until they get to where they want to be.

I dont know about this one. Was the rancher interviewed by police, or is that just what the parents are saying. Its all a bit odd. To say "my son wasnt depressed" etc yet he'd been grounded after taking the truck for the fourth time, did they have a bigger row about it than they are saying. Perhaps that sent him over the edge. Just because he didnt seem depressed doesnt mean he wasnt suffering and hiding it.

As far as the public knows,no rancher was ever identified or interviewed. Someone in that community also said there is no ranchers property in the area he went missing. It's a field located next to some train tracks. Idk. There seems to be more to this story with all that came out about the parents since he went missing.

Did camera catch him putting the gun in his waistband before confronting his mother... Perhaps he was scared of his parents or did he confront his parents and then the camera caught him putting the gun in his waistband and leaving in cell phone no way he had too much going on to involved in sports too many friends plus he has siblings to protect he's not going to end his life I don't care what happened to him or what he was exploited to. Another angle would be perhaps he was threatening the parents about telling the community about the shady sexual bulshit things they were doing and the parents know they needed to keep up with the Joneses and keep a good reputation going so he became a liability just saying need to look into it much deeper.

Yeah, I do not believe anything the mother has said, she didn't simply answer the questions the interviewer asked, which is a red flag. If your child goes missing, you want to visit the area in case the officers missed something, especially knowing your child. And the sexual misconduct wow, she certainly didn't answer that question and I think the police need to be looking at these parents' property and maybe asking some of his closer friends what his relationship was with his parents. Don't overlook people just because they have a blood tie, it means nothing to hard people who don't care. I really don't understand the whole incident to do with him getting punished for using the 4-wheeler, isn't that just a boy thing who lives in the country? I think they went ape shit over him using something of theirs and then needed to cover up for each other. Either way the police are probably right on their tails and we will hear an update once they find his body

Joseph City Arizona between Winslow and Holbrook. It's only 13 months later that the parents are willing to do any anything like this to get his name and information out. People have been begging them for 13 months to do something like this. They're refused. They did one news article and that's it.. Plus there's this. The parents. They were charged with bringing minors into their homes and getting them drunk. They had oral sex in front of the teenagers and encourage the teenagers to do the same. They for present with one girl during a vaginal piercing and watched and took pictures. They Lord the teenage girls in saying they needed a babysitter and the girls never babysat anyone. They pled guilty to these crimes and bedtime this was before Jared's birth. But there are tons of pictures obtained from internet sources that include the parents names and pictures and it's not even swinging it's just a lot of perversion that they are part of.

@@girlballer20 thank you, yeah I try to not judge people for their past mistakes because I myself have a past that on paper looks like I am a drug addicted child abuser when the real fact is I used bad judgement when choosing a partner and called LE for help leaving but was ultimately arrested for admitting that I lived at the residence where he was committing crimes so I understand that the way crimes are reported aren’t always accurate in portraying the real situation, but it’s hard not to take their past into consideration when something like this happens and they aren’t immediately honest and forthcoming! I feel like if what his mother says is true he may have ran away due to her trying to ground him, but who knows really? I just hope he is safe and happy somewhere!

@@spun1that1girl that goes both ways. I'm a SA victim and my SF was prosecuted by the same prosecutor and county as this case. What the charges were was only a tiny fraction of what actually happened. Add a plea agreement to that (just like these two were given) and even more of the facts fall to the side. I've had contact with victims family. They have said the same thing. There's even more to the story than this sickness. As for the later stuff, after the jailtime they did, there are pictures and social media entries that speak for themselves.

@@spun1that1girl it's not just the parents past that leads me to this opinion It's the fact that it's a very isolated area. No unknown Vehicles were seen out in that area and there were people around that day. If anybody had picked him up that day it would have gotten around that town of 3,000 people. They could not have kept that quiet. He didn't have a phone so how would he contact anybody. He left with absolutely nothing except the gun. A teenager who's running away takes some things with them. I think he took off with the gun out of fear for his life, not to run away. The family would have people believe that Jarrett has been seen but there's been absolutely nothing that indicates that he's alive. Most runaways contact somebody they know. They don't just disappear Into Thin Air. And then yeah there is the fact that for a year we have all been begging them to do something like this to get Jarett's name out and they would never. They did one quick interview with the local paper. There are groups of people who have done so much more than the family did trying to find him. People who live in that area don't even know about the disappearance. You can see those responses in the comments. There is so much. But it's NOT just the past crimes that has many of us believing they had something to do with the disappearance.

Theres a secret. When he took the pew is important. Location bike trail or trail, wet water rain, highway, town (tower stands out) 1-5 miles and fence and cactus. Location of pew: stranded (tree or cactus) do not enter, camp site and farm (tower or cilo). 🤷‍♀️🙏 strange things he was running to no where, and his mom states she has only recently went down the rd he was last seen....

I've said from day 1 that he ran off with a older woman, whether it be a teacher, a woman from church, or a family friend so they could be together and she's hiding him out in another town or maybe even state under a fake name. I'm a retired Police officer and the first place I would have looked at is who the females are that moved within the first 6-8 months of his disappearance while they get the stuff he needs to live a new life, because I'd bet a months pay he's with one of them living as BF&GF/Husband and wife and they wouldn't have left without a plan and having their ducks in a row, a new identity is EASY to obtain, You can get a fake I.D. and fake Birth Certificate on or near ANY college campus and he was a pretty big kid size wise, it would have been easy for him to pass as a 18,19 or 30 year old, and once you have that fake I.D. you just simply take that I.D. to an out of town/state DMV and bam... and you simply take that ID, a piece of mail and birth certificate to the county SSA office and bam.... you now have a completely new LEGAL Identity. It's not as hard as people think.....
