O really! This has been my favourite performance of of this piece for the past few years...RIP

supreme orchestra living the sweep and story all the way. Poetry and
philosophy, sensitivity and sensibility come no more enchanted.

Mariss Jansons is a magnificent conductor. On the video I enjoy watching him as much as listening to the composition. I look for more videos of Maestro Jansons and the jhoy he displays as he conducts.

This conductor does not spare neither himself nor his orchestra. If that contributed to a serious heart condition he has got, or on the contrary gives him good exercise for his heart, I will not judge.

I believe it was on 14th Nov 2014, this symphony was paired with Mussorgsky's Picture at the exhibition.
