I am so grateful for this channel, I'm brand new to the world of meditation, I have ADHD so I'm having a difficult time with the visualization process, and suggestions would be greatly appreciated ❤️🙏🙏👍
Just keep coming back to the breath. It took me far too long to learn that I am not meant to stop distractions. I am to see that I am distracted and come back home. That’s the whole point. That’s the whole process. You’re not getting it wrong. ♥️
Adhd what do you mean?
It might be good for you to check out more body scanned based meditations! People with ADHD sometimes have heightened awareness of their body which can make those sorts of meditation easier to navigate. Also, just remember that the point of this is to calm you and balance you out if you visualize a little bit differently (physical energies, sound, smells, etc) it don’t really matter as long as you’re being mindful. Just give it time, you'll soon find that you become less and less distracted. I have ADHD, my 2 and a half years of daily meditation has been transformative.
I now love my eccentricity, but I've also found that I now communicate clearly whereas before I'd be all over the place.

I also have ADHD and couldn’t agree more about the comment about it being transformative and keep coming back, daily practice it gets easier and easier to focus, keep going back to the breath focus and don’t worry if you’re mind gets distracted that’s the process ❤

First time I’ve ever done this and I also have ADHA and so I have trouble concentrating and focus!!! I was in a bad car wreck years back and had a traumatic head injury!! Dr finally after 17 years later said my pituitary gland could be damaged so my body doesn’t get the rt amount of hormones and vitamins that it needs!!! A lot of it has to do with energy so thank u so much for this!!! Anything that can help me I’m willing to try!!! Anymore ideas I would greatly appreciate it
