Ja, es sind wirklich Willemijn Verkaik und Mark Seibert. Ich habe das Lied von einer CD und auf der CD stand drauf dass es diese Sänger sind.
Yes, they are really Willemijn Verkaik and Mark Seibert. I got the song from a CD and it said that they are the singers.
Die Besetzung die Wicked zum deutschen start damals hatte wird nie mehr erreicht werden. Willemijn Verkaik, Mark Seibert und Lucy Scherer. Ich glaub ne stärkere Besetzung ist unmöglich. Ich bin sehr glücklich das ich das damals erleben durfte.
Der Cast war sehr gut ja, aber für mich persönlich ist Judith Caspari eine perfekte G(a)linda 😅 aber das ist nur meine Meinung
Auch wenn es schon lange her ist......ich find es einfach immerwieder toll

Willemijn erkennt man sofort! Mark kenne ich nicht. Sehr schöne Version, ich finde Willemijn sowieso super^^
So romantic .Her voice is amazing .Every woman that played Elphaba wowed me .She is sweet and kind , Idina is like a real witch ( she sounds so powerful , like you really believe it ' that wickdedness in not just her , in all of us ) .Japanese one is the deepest of them .She sounds also evil and some say too operatic .I would like to see this musical .It ' s not in my country .
Willemijn can sound wicked too! She varies her tone with the song, to suit the situation. Her No Good Deed gives me chills, she sounds so dark and insane!

The accompaniment sounds odd, but that is definitely Willemijn and Mark (i've been listening to the German language version of the Wicked soundtrack enough to spot these things).

Das ist auch Willemijn. Es klingt etwas fremd aber sie ist es. Ich finde bei den lang gezogenen Worten hört man das ganz gut

it's probably from Mark's album. interesting fact the two other cast albums that were released after Broadway (German & Japanese) didn't even use the respective productions orchestras opting instead to use the Broadway cast album instrumental tracks

they’re great singers but i think for once i like the original broadway cast recording better than this version. i know the quality of the lyrics is limited because it’s a translation, but it’s just so much less poetic in this version imo. like, “for a couple of hours” (für ein paar Stunden) instead of “just for this moment”? man, just doesn’t hit the same. i know some american / english-speaking fans just listen to other versions for willemijn verkaik or for other singers besides idina menzel, and they prob don’t care about the lyrics, but i studied german in high school so i can’t help but think about and compare the lyrics lol.
i like the german lyrics a lot more than the english lyrics tbh
