Blimey. I'm not sure how this is going to impact our business in the near future. It's stupidly powerful and the results are pretty impressive. Col, what res can you download the images? If not print-res then is this really an on-line only thing?
The 16:9 images in the beta when downloaded were 1792x1024 pixels. So not super hi-res. This may increase though in the final version. I think Midjourney can upscale it’s images to 2048x2048. There are lots of AI upscale websites already available that can do an amazing job at upscaling small images. So I can absolutely see these image generators being able to upscale to larger print resolution sizes in future.
@@buytolet-landlords I think the main worry is that non-designers think that AI can completely replace professional designers. I’ve seen a lot of posts from non-designers recently saying things like ‘this is cool - I’m now a designer!’ Or ‘I don’t need a designer anymore’. So, I do believe that AI will replace those designers who can’t do a good job of showing why they are better than AI. I personally think it’s going to be a great tool.
What are your experiences of using AI so far? I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you see it impacting the design industry.
For images, terrible. I didn't know about this though. I'll give it a go. Thanks!
This is insane. Thanks for the insight Col
Why download it? What is it useful for?

It shouldn't affect you. It's like my job with Robo Advice, humans need humans at the end of the day.

Do you feel threatened by them? As a consumer, I don't feel like AI will completely replace you.

More fool those people then!
Really useless when it does not keep the same image.
