I got the hourglass blush based on ur recommendation and I’ve been wearing it EVERY day! It’s so pretty especially for the winter. It probably would melt off my face in the summer lol, but in the winter my skin is more dry and it looks so beautiful and healthy on the skin. I just use my fingers to blend it in.
My daughter uses Hourglass and after only ever buying Drug Store make-up (let's face it, when you're a mother with kids, you spend every penny on them, but now they are married....) so I bought some highend stuff, Huda powder, Hourglass blush, Natasha Denona palette...OMG... having fun treating myself to some lovely stuff, but I still think L'Oréal foundation is just as good as highend!!, and Revlon bronzer 😊
i am currently proud that I haven’t purchased any of these and I haven’t bought any foundation this year at all. On a no buy journey but still watching your videos!
I just wanted to thank you for dedicating your channel to cruelty free makeup. I am so glad that some influencers are being picky with which companies they chose to support, I wish more influencers were like you. Keep up the good work. Also sidenote, you look absolutely stunning!
If you're looking for that true warm brown, I recommend the Redhead Revolution mascara! I also have the lighter version for a no-make-up look in summer, they're so good. 😍
Such a stellar end of year review ✨️. I passed on the new milk makeup jelly blushes based on your recommendation. I've seen other creators talk about how you have to use them exactly like so and so. But to me, if a product isn't versatile and user-friendly, it's a hard pass. ❤ much love to all and happy new year 🎉
I love the Rare Beauty blushes. I use them all over my cheek all the time. I don't have perfect skin and they look fine from the front Imo. Maybe my face is just so heart shaped/round and my cheek bones are fairly high, but it works.
Appreciate you thinking of mobility issues on the hourglass blush- I have mobility issues (EDS) and hate it because of the packaging so hopefully you saved a few people from buying it
Okay but why I discovered you yesterday and know I’m obsessed🥰 such a nice, respectful and humble person.. you surely deserve to be called influencer ❤
I tried the Natasha Denona hy-glam concealer back in January and it’s been the only one i’ve used all year long, it is the only high end makeup product I use and totally think it’s worth the price
I loved the ELF soft glam for a second then I didn't like it. What I do love from the drugstore is the CoverGirl Invisible Foundation!! It's beautiful for my dry mature skin and it's under $7!!
I just opened a new mascara, and I got into my drawer of backup/new products and I just pulled out the Physician’s formula butter bronzer brown mascara, WOW! I love it and it isn’t so dark it looks like a soft black, it’s truly a bronzer-y brown! And removing is cake b/c it acts like a tubing formula, don’t know if it’s designed to be but it washed off like one IMO ❤
I tried some of these recommendations cause you raved about them and they looked so beautiful on you but heres my experience… I have pretty clear, texturless skin, so I don’t like wearing much make up. Mario cream contour stick - loved it! Natural and creamy. Blends like a dream. Looks absolutely beautiful Fenty soft lit foundation was garbage. Nothing special. Coverage awful. Accentuated and sat in pores I didn’t know I had. Slides all over your face. Doesn’t set with my normal powder. Huda setting powder. Still giving it a try another try, but for some reason my usual application which is with a fan brush it seemed to not do anything better than my lancome powder. It’s not my preferred powder. Houeglass unreal blush- i was so excited but this one was probably the worst!!!! Packaging awful, took me a while to figure out.. getting the product out is irritating, blush ended up having sparkles , nooo! Blending the blush wasn’t my favourite either…. Save your money on that garbage. Asides from Mario stick; I had to return all these products.
Kelly I completely agree re the Hourglass blushes they're a game changer & I love the brush as well as I own nothing like it. As you said mine can be temperamental though & sometimes I find it difficult to get product out. I'm gonna have to buy the Fenty luminous foundation for sure ❤
I tried brown mascara in 2024, and none of the shades really worked for me. With my ghostly pale skin, I always looked just a little bit washed out, somehow. I did remember that, way back when, I used burgundy mascara (Chanel's Vamp, which has long since been discontinued, and a burgundy shade by YSL, which I need to track down). Anyhow, I discovered that L'Oreal Voluminous has a "Deep Burgundy" shade. It is not new, but was new to me in 2024. It is softer than black, and it makes my hazel eyes pop. With berry blush shades supposed to be big in 2025, perhaps burgundy mascaras will be making a comeback, too?
I’m hoping to finish up two concealers soon so I can try the ND concealer in 2025 ✨ Your hair and makeup are looking gorgeous today - warm and lovely 🥰
I love, love KOSAS baked powder !!! I only have a mini / travel size one as a gift ,but the BEST powder amongst clean ingredient make up powder!! The only issue is the piwder cracks / breaks & comes off ,I returned the original one & exchanged it,yet, the same happened !! I wonder if that's the case with regular sized one or not ? But,really it's the best one ,I use it with my Kosas liquid foundation w psf or Wet'nWild tinted hydrator which is another fabulous product !! And the cheapest !! Lol 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🎄🎁💕💞
The products that I've tried in 2024 from this video that I wear and love are: - E.L.F. Cosmetics Soft Neutral Glam Satin Foundation in 21 Light Neutral -> love wearing this over the hydrating camo cc cream - NYX Professional Makeup Butter Melt Pressed Powder Natural Finish Bronzer -> Ciate London's Bamboo Bronzer dupe - R.E.M. Beauty Midnight Shadows Lustrous Liquid Eyeshadow in Fembot-> this is my go to for holidays only - E.L.F. Fine As Fleck Eyeshadows -> I never tried it but getting it at Ulta or Rite Aid
Best: RMS blushes and bronzer (so buildable, blurring but have a sheen, love love love, and the lightest bronzer isn’t orange or rosy!) Worst: NYX butter melt blushes and bronzer (too much color payoff right away, I couldn’t get them to look natural at all, and the rosy bronzer color on me just looked strange with my neutral olive skin tone, I usually have to stay away from bronzers that are warm, but apparently the rosy ones look weird on me too)
Not necessarily in 2024, but my worst product of all time (well almost) is Charlotte Tilbury's Setting Spray. It's perfumed, it does not hold my makeup in place and when it dries it leaves little spots on my face. My best product of all time is a tie between: Rare Beauty's Liquid Blush in Happy and Fenty Beauty's Match Stix Matte Contour. Both easy to use, never look bad, last all day and I like the packaging. My favorite perfume of all time is Clinique's Aromatic Elixir. My very favorite drugstore product of all time is: L’Oreal's Colour Riche lipstick in Wisteria Rose.
24:59 ☀️☀️☀️HARUHARU Wonder in the yellow tube is even better than BOJ!!! Perfect satin finish it’s my moisturizer and primer too sinks in just like a moisturizer vanishes to perfect skin day 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
i think it depends on the product formula like if you have a powder blush/bronzer, set the foundation first & if you have a cream blush/bronzer, set everything after I personally like bronzer before blush, think of it like the more shadowing product being the “the back” of the makeup, and blush then brings brightness to “the front” :)
You're by far the one and only vlogger who didn't like the elf soft glam and liked the Revlon lip stain. I'm not sure what age group you are but I follow the ones in their 20's 30's and 40's. There's nothing wrong with you though I'm just boggled by the extreme difference.
The Kosas powders are awful! The dome broke week one of me having it, and I am not rough with my cosmetics, nor did I drop it. It was such a waste of product! The dome literally fell off into my sink!
Does elf have a space where they are telling us what they are trying to dupe? I’m just wondering how you know which products elf is trying to duplicate for sure. Thanks.
@jessicau.2373 Hi! Not here to wage wars over RUclips comments, but I strongly urge you to look into how different makeup products and finishes look on camera with beauty lighting. It is not always filters. Products like that powder will read very flattering and blurring on camera because of the diffused lighting. Very similar case to how differently 2016 heavy glam makeup looked on camera (very blurred matte perfected skin) and in person (much more obvious).
@ Yeah, maybe I was too rash in judging. If Kelly says it's not filtered, I'll give her that. Well, the good point is that the powder REALLY REALLY looks flawless 😂😅 I take back my comment
Thank you for remembering us with mobility issues!!!
Your hair looks amazing.
Thank you!!
I love the colour !! 😍

I love my NYX Butter Melt bronzer, I also love the Butter Melt blushes too. Those were my favorites I tried this year. I wear them both constantly.
I never thought to use the covergirl lip stains like that but now you’ve convinced me 😩 as if I needed more lip products
I agree that most reviers don't put on enough sunscreen!!!
Kelly, you are stunning! ❤
i am currently proud that I haven’t purchased any of these and I haven’t bought any foundation this year at all.
On a no buy journey but still watching your videos!
You mentioned that you travel alone. Would love if you could share some tips/info on traveling alone as a woman❤
I bought the ELF mascara based on your recommendation and accidentally picked up the brown-- its so pretty!!
Kelly you looks GORGEOUS !❤

Yes! I truly appreciate Kelly's content since I know it's all cruelty free 🐰
I’m also fenty 150…that shade must be versatile. I always say I have a grey undertone….missha 21 is also my shade. I’m 51 and fenty is my fav.
If you're looking for that true warm brown, I recommend the Redhead Revolution mascara! I also have the lighter version for a no-make-up look in summer, they're so good. 😍
What company puts out this mascara?
@@kathleenp3135 Redhead Revolution, they're an indie brand geared towards redheads

What color is the RMS blush she refers to?
I love the Hourglass brushes. The best and worth the splurge.
Sooooo good!!
I LOVE that you talk about the Fenty SoftLit foundation! I love this one and it has edged out all others for me, the finish is perfection.
I tried the Natasha Denona hy-glam concealer back in January and it’s been the only one i’ve used all year long, it is the only high end makeup product I use and totally think it’s worth the price
My favorite blush is RMS 's Maiden Blush
Is that the one she uses?
I absolutely ADORE Without A Trace!! It smells amazing!!!
I bought the r.e.m peach blush after I saw it in one of your videos. I LOVE it. The color and formula are great
I love wrap makeup videos, they’re so helpful! 💖
Love you Kelly❤
Love RMS blushes! All I want to wear. I do enjoy. Lawless too
Totally agree on the Hourglass blush packaging. Can be very difficult to dispense!! But the blush is beautiful. Thanks for such a fun video!! ❤❤
Here in Europe, Catrice launched a new waterproof mascara in brown and it's actually milk chocolate brown!! Maybe it'll be the one ☺️🤎
Merry Christmas and happy new year, Kelly! I LOVE your hair - it looks beautiful!
I've been eying the hourglass blushes! also your hair looks amazing 💗
Kelly thanks for the review 🎉
Thanks for the video, Kelly!
You should try the K sunscreens. There are so many great ones
Yes!! I have a few favorites!
THANK YOU for saying “butter” is an overused description, it’s becoming my pet peeve with influencers 😅
My blush of the year is the Kosas Blush Is Life, specifically the shade "Euphoria". So gorgeous! 🩷
I've been waiting for this video all year! ❤
I loved the ELF soft glam for a second then I didn't like it. What I do love from the drugstore is the CoverGirl Invisible Foundation!! It's beautiful for my dry mature skin and it's under $7!!

27:45 shame you don't like the milk cheek tints, best way I found to use them was a duo fibre brush onto my skin, longevity
Excellent
New camera? Looks super clear. 🎉 Your hair is beautiful!!
My best foundation/ concealer this year are the Merit minimalist sticks. Revived my belief in “natural beauty” ❤❤❤

I thought you'd mention the kosas baked blushes in the worst
I personally get more coverage out of the Fenty Soft Lit than the Huda such versatile formula when it comes to coverage.
SO ecited about that finery dupe! I love missing person but it only lasts 1-2 hours on me so i can't justify that price tag.
Is that the RMS blush or is it the bronzer?

Do you set foundation before doing bronzer and blush? Or is it blush before bronzer. Help me 😂

Not 2024, but i just tried it this year...the Tower 28 mascara...its nothing special, and i won't repurchase. (likely a controversial opinion.)
Elf sunscreen dupe was horrible for me it was so greasy I have normal skin. There new foundation so so. Loreal new foundation love it
Phenomenal….reminds me of Tati. She couldn’t stop saying it and had to really think of a new word. 😂
I hate peach blushes. Maybe it’s because I am cool toned. But who blushes peach
Squeezie tube would be great
