I have worked at Flipkart as a contractor. They hire only the best from IITs, BITs and other cream institutions. The environment on the floor is such that it automatically inspires people to do something big unlike many other software companies where people generally bitch about their managers and colleagues.
Hi Aditya, I don't usually look at things from such a binary perspective honestly - it is good in some ways, and bad in others, just depends on what aspect you're focusing on. Big acquisitions encourage VCs to look at India more, they make VCs realize that India can make them a lot of money, which increases funding in the ecosystem, which stimulates growth. But of course you also have the other side, where these Indian companies are being eaten up by non-Indian companies, which isn't good. But then again, the founders of those companies sometimes go on to found 2 or 3 more startups later on, using that exit money, creating jobs and newer, better ideas. So there are pros and cons, depending on how you look at it. -Caleb
they are everywhere. flipkart started the concepts of hiring brightest minds from IITs and stopping them from going to do MBA and welcome to core engineering. Now they all spread across startups in Bangalore.

Hey, can you make a short video about the e-RUPI. I don't know who named it, but they did a terrible job. It sounds like a digital currency, and with the hype around digital currencies created by China and RBI's pilot project announcements, it's getting confusing.
Its just a voucher which u can transfer to someone's UPI from ur UPI....The difference is that this voucher can only be used where u want....means if u set it to healthcare then this voucher can only be used at a private or government hospital and no where else.....And for now the gov. has only launched it for health but they will expand it to new areas too
eRUPI is a voucher for those who are eligible for governments Verious subsidy schemes. So there's no chance to cash it. It just like... Like a farmer want to buy a subsidised farming equipment. Then govt. Give them a voucher in e-RPUI then farmer go to where he want to buy a product he only have to transfer this e-RUPI Voucher to consignor.
