    Thank you ma for this class.
    If I heard you well you said you were adding half inche on each side, that's making it 10 inches unless you made use of quarter an inch that is when it is 5 inches.

    • @StylishNaija
      @StylishNaija  2 года назад

      It depends on how many pannel you are cutting
      Add either half or quarter inch depends on how much sewing allowance you normally use

    • @yiibarimanson7599
      @yiibarimanson7599 2 года назад

      Yes, she said she was using half an inch on both sides, so should be 10inches not 5.

    What did you use to actually pad it? Can we see you actually make this piece? I would be interested in paying for classes if you could do a zoom or something. I don’t like calling numbers because you really don’t know the chargers associated with a call till you get the bill. I also bought a little gadget from Amazon that will follow you around while you explain. I also wish you would put your measurements and stuff up on a board so we could really see them. However, thank you soooo much for this video, it gives me a place to start and I’m so grateful and I pray you have much success in your business! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

    If waist is 29,and I wanted 25cone how will I go about it

    • @NaomiKpeli-g4x
      @NaomiKpeli-g4x Год назад

      Ok please let me help you;
      Please first of all with your waist (29) add your zipper extension of one or two inches (optional ),then now add the allowance you will be using to join your cone flare panels, if you will be joining or stitching the cone together by half an inch ,then that means you will need to add 25 inches to your waist measurement.Therefore this will be the formula
      WAIST -29 inches
      ZIPPER EXTENSION -2 inches
      SEWING ALLOWANCE OF CONE FLARE-25 inches
      Now the addition of 29 plus 2 plus 25 will be equal to 56.
      So now you will divide 56 into the numbers of cone that you want .
      Now that you want a 25 cone fare ,divide 56 by 25 “(56/25)”
      56 divided by 25 will give you (2.24 inches) now you will have to determine the length of your peplum it can be 8,9,10,11 inches depending ,on what you are doing and the length is up to you too decide or how long your client wants it.The widths of the cone flare at the hem of the peplum depends also on the fullness you want or the yardage of fabric you are going to work with.
