Nice video Anthony! I have a question here. I recently noticed a clunk noise from front suspension(especially noticeable when going over uneven surface). I took the wheel off and found height sensor link is kinda loose. Is that normal? I checked the end links, those are tight, not sure what caused the clunk.
ayo same here - I aint took it off and looked but mine is clunking too just installed swifts already put 100 miles on em still does it and legit only on uneven surfaces too, so it sounds like we have the same issue, did you ever figure it out man?
Do I need any rear camber arms ? I only drive on weekends to another city to see family and it’s an hour to go and come back. I’m looking to drop only an inch.
@@anthonypilpa7586 I went with the safe Spec from your other video. Enkei TS-5 18/9.5 +45 offset with 265/35/18 tires. I also commented in that video and If you replied to it I apologize.
@@codychallenger0666 I installed them and it seems like they are bouncy so I will have to cut those fuckers off 🥹 but it’s crazy that a lot people say not to cut them off smh
That R is clean!! Great job in the install.
thats the spoon method! GJ! ive done around 5-6 installs doing it that method
Thanks so much for this. I’m doing mine in the spring.
I have put lowering springs on my old Lancer and my old veloster N.wtf with that front suspension lol. I think I'm just going to get it installed
What about the bump stop in the rear does it have to be cut inahbe a 2020 so just curious
Cool video, does this affect the different drive modes? Does it ride stiffer through all three modes?
Yea it will feel different since I believe the spring rate is higher than oem
like to do lowering springs on mine but im aftermarket 20's so not sure i would rub or not

It all kinda depends on your wheel of set

It's the same on an fk7, isn't it?
So it’s not necessary to cut the bump stops ?
Yea it is... or it's bad.. he just don't daily his so can't tell. .. If u don't it'll be more bouncy

The front strut and knuckle disassembly was by far the worst!
yo i get this clunking around noise when going over uneven surfaces with mine, anyone got any ideas?
U didn't put it back together right
If you loosen the top three nuts you wouldn’t have had to fight the strut to pop out nor loosen that bottom compliance bearing 🤷🏽♂️
Cool 😎
Messaged you on FB yesterday lol
Most complicated springs replacement
It's similar to how the VWs are . Kind of a pain compared to alot of other cars . But the rear being so easy. Makes up for it .
