a moment. From [11:47] there is a step 10 to add extra apps, and even in the package there is to add alacritty and neofetch. what happened that they didn't put those steps?
Just a shabby copy and paste from a document that I have to buy also (minimum 5.50 $)? Dislike and proudly immediately unsubscribed! Didn't figured out all this.
bro i get so much that it's annoying but at the same time this guy tried really hard to make this content and he is giving it for free anyways, he's trying to earn something out of his hard work, let him have it :)
Would it be possible to have a desktop that has the folders and files in view, and that when the mouse or keyboard is stopped, the folders and files become invisible after 5 or 10 seconds? This way the desktop would be more beautiful without losing the functionality of a desktop.
I looked into it a bit for KDE, and have an idea on how to go about making them visible and invisible. But couldn't find anything about fading them in and out. Might try seeing if it's possible next weekend
I followed it carefully and did exactly the same. Works fine. I only skipped the conky config section. You just need to figure out how to save and exit nano.
This could be my favorite Xfce customization yet!! Well done.
You have done it successfully? If yes then reply please 🥺

Nice thene to run with, if anyone has any issue with the conky. You can just upload the zip script to conky manager and scroll to the bottom.

Looks very nice. Q1: Can i do this with ArchLinux too? Q2: How to make the rounded corners of the windows square?
Yes, you can do that on any distro running xfce. The install commands are gonna be different, though.
It a shame that the devs couldn't take an extra 10 minutes to do this right out of the box.
MX be super mindful about packaging sensible utilities but went all IDGAF about the UI
@@cheesium238im not a smart guy, but isnt mx linux supposed to be a basic distro that you can customize

Super! But! How to make the active, inactive window frames and title bar in XFCE different colours?
Can you make a customized iso using the iso-maker, so your subscribers can try out the finished product?

What are those resource monitor plugins called 8:06? Genmon?

You want desktop icons to autohide when there is no mouse movement or keyboard input?
@@folksurvival yes
Intriguing, I never even thought of that, just stopped having icons on desktop altogether. A script or something that does that would be wonderful
@@MrTblender Same; I had never thought of that before either.

Terrible video. I followed all the steps but you were not thorough nor specific. Now I'm stuck how to do this on my own...
