it's not that easy... you need to actually go to auditions and get the role.. or the movie-people need to hire you for the role.. if people doesn't hire him or he doesn't get the roles on auditions he can't just "go back" to acting. And also many companies doesn't wanna work with ex-teen stars.. its complicated.

He clearly wasn’t shaming people for rehab. He’d rather be working then going down a path leading to him going to rehab like a lot of child actors around that time due to drugs, Alcohol, etc. Nothing wrong with what he said. Now yes, he ended up having those troubles later on. But he didn’t shame anybody for rehab
