Hey! I currently have poisedon in my hair and it is slightly faded but has sections of hair that are still vibrant. Do you think that purple rain will be able to cover the blue?
Heya. Love your review of this hair dye. I have been dying my hair for the last twelve years or so but I have never used arctic fox hair dye and I am interested in trying it out. Do you order your hair dye direct from America or can you buy it in Europe? I am from Ireland. Thanks
Hi Cecilia, thank you for watching! I live in Germany and have ordered both from the website and from amazon UK. When I ordered from the website the packaged kept ending up in customs, that was kind of annoying. Amazon UK doesn't have some colours, but works perfectly. Hope that helps!
@@dancycat Thank you for your quick reply :-) I usually buy my hairdyes from the uk but I have not bought any since brexit. I had so much stocked up that I didnt need to!! That is good to know in advance about customs seizing it when you ordered directly from the website. Perhaps I will try ordering from amazon uk. One more question for you if you dont mind me asking. I have quite long hair, its a good bit past my shoulder. I normally use la riche directions and thats about an 88ml tub I think. I usually need two or three tubs to cover my hair. I think I would probably need to buy two of the big bottles just to be sure I have enough. What do you think? Thanks
I love your videos! I have a minty green super blonde hair (mostly level 9-10 I think, hard to define with the green) now with a cm of level 8 yellowish roots and some level 8-9 I think of ashy blonde in the hair on the bottom layer since it possessed the least on the last bleach. I am thinking of going to a Lavender silver ish color but I want to wait until I got another cm of roots to bleach before I even out the rest of my hair, so it doesn't fry 😂. Until I get it all to level 9-10 for the silver then I am gonna try to experiment with the color I have at home which is a bit of AF Violet dream and transylvania, with the goal of getting almost like a lighter purple rain, which is gonna be a bit of pain to mix right so it neutralizes my green hair without turning too pink, but without it turning too dark with the transylvania or turns green when it fades. It really is like a scientist experiment 😂
This video makes my want to document the process too, and maybe inform others with the same base color as me, since the more videos are out there, the more chances there is of others finding someone with the same hair color base and goal.
Hi question, did you get the 4 oz or the 8 oz bottle and if so then how much of the bottle did you use? Also I might have missed it but did you dilute the color?
hi laura! ✨ for the color in this video i used about a fourth of a small bottle max, and i diluted it with conditioner (at least two thirds dye i think). also remember that my tips were bleached very light so i can get away with diluting the color and it still turning out vibrant! i have medium to thin hair. if you are unsure how much dye you need always go for the bigger bottle. the extra dollars are definitely worth not risking to run out of product mid-dying! (been there before haha) hope that helps! 😌✨
Hello, Is this easy to cover with blue, I have purple rain now and plan on having it fade then trying to maintain a pastel purple, from there blue, will the transition be smooth from the purple to blue ? Or patchey??
hi harley! ✨ i have done EXACTLY that before. as a blue shade i used poseidon. your blue will look stunning, but when the blue starts to fade the purple underneath will start to show in some places. your fade will be a mixture of pastel purple and tealy-green, unless your hair is bleached perfectly evenly. if you keep redying your blue you will have no troubles. for pictures of what it is going to look like watch from 5:22 ! :)
I have medium blonde hair (my red hair faded to a combination of bwonish blonde) can i use this dye? Like will it be pruple or some else color with brown hair?
Hey you:) If you use pure dye it will still show up purple. It will probably be darker and show up with more magenta hues because of the reddish shades underneath. There is some nice videos here on RUclips of people dying their brown hair with this colour, maybe you should watch some of those:) Cause I have personally never tried that
heyo! :) i haven‘t really used this color on natural hair before, but semi-perm dye clibgs the most to bleached hair. if your hair has never been bleached before my guess is that you will get rid of the color completely. to get out the last drops try cleansing shampoo and condition afterwards ✨
@@dancycat I have bleached my hair and done a blond balayage. My hair is like your brown. I am thinking of trying a fun color. But I want to do a semi permanent color just to try it out. But I don’t want to have to bleach my hair. I also wash my hair every other day. How long do you think this Purple Rain would last in my hair?
@@alielaw7960 This color will cover even dark hair. The color lasts about 2 to 3 weeks with daily washing. After that it is faded, but the shade itself lasts a long time.
Bright purple for 2 weeks, normal purple for 2-3 weeks, and around 3 weeks of lavender/faded touches:) I wash my hair every 5-7 days. These are just estimates though, I didn't write it down.
